Meet Nicole Kidman’s four children: Bella, Connor, Sunday Rose and Faith

Nicole Kidman is not only an award-winning actress ; she’s also the proud mother of four children.

“I love mothering. I love kids,” the 57-year-old told Marie Claire Australia in 2021.

“They’re quirky, funny and unfiltered. And then you get to see them grow and send them on their way.”

Bella Kidman-Cruise

Shortly after Isabella Jane was born in December 1992, Nicole adopted her with then-husband Tom Cruise.

However, after Nicole and Tom divorced in 2001, Bella mainly grew up with Tom.

Today, Bella, age 31, mainly stays out of the public eye and works as a fashion designer; she started her own line called BKC (which stands for Bella Kidman-Cruise) in 2018.

Connor Cruise

Nicole also adopted Connor with Tom in 1995, shortly after Connor was born. Like Bella, Connor also mainly grew up with Tom after he and Nicole divorced.

As a child, Connor followed in his parents’ footsteps and acted in the films Seven Pounds and Red Dawn . He then pivoted to music, and released his debut single in 2013.

However, today, the 29-year-old runs a barbecuing business and regularly goes deep sea fishing.

It was reported in 2018 that Nicole wasn’t close with either Bella or Connor because they, like their father, were members of the Church of Scientology.

But Nicole cleared up those rumours and told WHO in November of that year, “They are adults. They are able to make their own decisions. They have made choices to be Scientologists and as a mother, it’s my job to love them.

“And I am an example of that tolerance and that’s what I believe – that no matter what your child does, the child has love and the child has to know there is available love and I’m open here,” she continued.

Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban

Nicole and her current husband Keith Urban welcomed their daughter Sunday Rose via gestational surrogate on July 7 in 2008.

Sunday Rose, age 15, was mostly kept out of the public eye by her famous parents.

However, she made her red carpet debut in April of this year when Nicole was honoured at the AFI Life Achievement Award Gala . Sunday Rose also accompanied Nicole to Paris Fashion Week in June.

Sunday Rose was also seen on the red carpet at OMEGA’s Her Time event in Paris, not long after her parents were spotted amongst the crowds at the Women’s Street Final Skateboarding Olympics.

Faith Margaret Kidman-Urban

Nicole and Keith welcomed Faith, also via gestational surrogate, on December 28 in 2010.

Like her older sister Sunday Rose, Faith is kept out of the public eye.

The 13-year-old did attend the AFI Life Achievement Award Gala too though.

When it comes to celebrity couples, you can’t get much sweeter than Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban . So, it’s little wonder that the pair’s children are just as amazing as their parents’ love story. What is a bit harder to believe is just how fast the couple’s daughters are growing up. On July 7, 2020, their daughter Sunday Rose Kidman Urban turned 12 — meaning Kidman and Urban officially have a tween in the house!

But given how private (understandably) they are about their girls, Sunday Rose rarely makes public cameos . Her mom and dad remain pretty buttoned-up when it comes to their now-12-year-old, too. Of course, there are a few facts about Sunday Rose that can be found through a quick Google search. We obviously know she was born on July 7, 2008. Her Australian parents welcomed her into the world in their adopted hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. And a few years after her birth, she became a big sister to sibling Faith Margaret.

Her Name Was Inspired by Both Art and Family

Sunday Rose is certainly a unique name, so it’s only natural to wonder where Kidman and Urban got the idea for it. Well, according to the little girl’s maternal grandfather, Dr. Antony Kidman, “Sunday” was inspired by the art world. “There was a lady named Sunday Reed who was a prominent patron of the arts in Victoria,” Dr. Kidman told The Daily Telegraph . “I have read a bit about Sunday Reed and her husband John. She was a key mover and shaker in the arts around the beginning of the century. The name Sunday struck me as being a nice name for a woman, so my wife and I mentioned it.”

Reed reportedly had an affair with famed Australian artist Sidney Nolan, becoming Nolan’s muse. When Kidman and Urban visited a Sidney Nolan art exhibit just before giving birth to their Sunday, there were said to have been moved by a quote from the artist: “When you are young you are given a good view of life, because of your closeness to birth.” Between that and the fact her parents had already suggested Sunday, Kidman had found her daughter’s first name.

As for Rose, Urban’s brother Shane told an Australian radio station that it was inspired by the brothers’ late grandmother, Rose.

Shortly after Sunday was born, Kidman gave fans a sneak peek of the little girl during an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show . “Keith took this, it was on his iPhone and I made him print the photo. That’s my baby; that’s her sleeping,” she said of a black-and-white snapshot. She added that Sunday’s resemblance to her famous dad was undeniable, joking, “I didn’t even get a look in. I think she got my fair skin and that’s about it.” Kidman even admitted she playfully refers to Sunday as “Keith-ette.”

She Was Unexpected

Kidman first suffered struggles with infertility during her marriage to Tom Cruise, enduring an ectopic pregnancy and miscarriage. Ultimately, they decided to adopt — their children Isabella Jane Cruise and Connor Cruise are 27 and 25 now, respectively. But when Kidman got remarried to Urban, the couple knew they wanted to try to conceive. Unfortunately, Kidman’s continued to experience difficulties getting pregnant. Until, that is, she took a break during filming the sweeping 2007 blockbuster Australia to take a dip in a local Australian watering hole.

“Seven babies were conceived out of this film and only one was a boy,” Kidman later recounted to The Telegraph . “There is something up there in the Kununurra water because we all went swimming in the waterfalls, so we can call it the fertility waters now.” Accordingly, she was “stunned” when she first discovered she was pregnant after her fateful swim. Now, she refers to Sunday as her “miracle baby.”

She’s a Budding Photographer

On Father’s Day in 2019, Kidman revealed that Sunday has a creative hobby: photography. Sharing a snapshot of Keith Urban at their family home to her Instagram Stories, Kidman wrote, “Happy Father’s Day to the best, coolest dad in the world. Photo by Sunday Urban.”

She Might Follow in Her Mama’s Footsteps

If the whole photography thing doesn’t pan out, Sunday Rose may have another creative career lined up. Speaking to E! News ahead of last year’s Golden Globes, Kidman admitted she had more pressing matters on her mind that the awards show. “My daughter just got cast in her school play,” Kidman said of Sunday, adding, “So, that’s been the main priority, learning lines with her.”

Sunday and little sister Faith have both enjoyed bit parts in The Angry Birds Movie 2 and as extras on Kidman’s HBO hit Big Little Lies . “They have a great work ethic,” Kidman told WSJ Magazine of her future stars.

You’ve gotta love a girl who speaks her mind! While promoting her movie The Killing of a Sacred Deer , Kidman revealed in an interview that her plan for her Big Little Lies Emmy statuettes didn’t quite go as planned. In one of her acceptance speeches, she had mentioned she wanted to put them on the shelves in her daughters’ rooms. Welp, Sunday nixed that idea.

“Sunday has already said she doesn’t want it on her shelf because her shelf is already very particular, and it’s too big and she doesn’t want it,” Kidman said, laughing. “That’s keeping it real!”

She’s Far From Spoiled

Sunday Rose’s parents may be two of the most successful celebrities of our time, but that doesn’t mean they spoil their little girl. In a candid interview with Vanity Fair, Kidman confessed that she and Urban are actually quite strict in some ways. “They don’t have a phone and I don’t allow them to have an Instagram,” she said, adding, “I try to keep some sort of boundaries.” Hmm, wonder if that will change now that Sunday is 12?

On July 7, 2016, Urban gave a shout-out to his little girl with a throwback photo. In it, the then-newborn Sunday Rose was cradled in her parents arms. “Flashback — 7 years ago — ‘a little ray of sunshine in the shape of a girl.’ Happy 8th birthday Sunny!!!! We love you,” the proud dad gushed. And c’mon, “Sunny” is such a precious nickname.

Nicole Kidman and her teen daughter Sunday Rose stepped out looking like twins — can you tell them apart?

On June 26, the actor and her 15-year-old daughter, Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban, caught a Balenciaga fashion show during Paris Fashion Week.

The mother and daughter pair showed off pin-straight blond hairstyles, black dresses and dark sunglasses. In a video posted to Vogue’s Instagram page, the teen leads her mom through crowds of fans and photographers at the fashion show.

Kidman and her husband, country singer Keith Urban , share daughters Sunday Rose and 13-year-old Faith Margaret . Kidman delivered Sunday Rose while Faith Margaret was born through a gestational carrier.

The “Big Little Lies” star also shares two adopted, adult children with her ex-husband, Tom Cruise: daughter Isabella and son Connor. Tom Cruise and his ex-wife Katie Holmes are parents to daughter Suri.

Kidman’s daughters with Urban take after their famous mom in other ways — they act, too. In 2019, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret voiced characters in the animated movie “The Angry Birds Movie 2.”

In 2021, Urban told TODAY that his daughters were interested in both singing and acting. “More directing than acting, which would be kind of good,” he said.

Kidman and Urban made their first media appearance as a family in April at the 49th AFI Lifetime Achievement Award Gala, where Kidman was the guest of honor.

In 2019, Kidman said she would have loved to have more children with Urban, who she met in 2005 when she was 38 years old.

“We go, ‘Oh gosh, I wonder if we met when we were 25, then we could’ve had 10 of them!’” Kidman told People . “But Keith says, ‘Stop the wanting mind.’ It’s far better to be completely in love and satiated with what you’ve been given, what we’ve been given.”

Nicole Kidman And Keith Urban’s Teenage Daughters Make Red Carpet Debut

It’s time to finally meet the Kidman-Urbans.

On Saturday, Nicole Kidman and her husband, Keith Urban , were accompanied by their daughters, Sunday Rose, 15, and Faith Margaret, 13, at the American Film Institute Life Achievement Award Gala, which honored Kidman.

The event marked the official red carpet debut for the teens, whose parents have kept them out of the spotlight throughout their lives.

Kidman and Urban were also joined by Kidman’s sister, Antonia Kidman and her family — which includes Antonia’s husband, Craig Marran, and Kidman’s nieces, Sybella Hawley and Lucia Hawley, and nephew, Alexander Kidman Marran.

“They are here to support me, and they’re very, very supportive and incredibly loving,” the Oscar winner told People of her two daughters she shares with Urban.

Kidman also has two older children — Isabella “Bella” Kidman Cruise, 31, and Connor Cruise, 29 — with her ex-husband, Tom Cruise.

At the ceremony, Urban gave a touching speech about Kidman ahead of her award acceptance, Today reports. According to the outlet, during the country music star’s sweet tribute to his wife, he spoke lovingly about how much he loved watching Kidman be a mom, saying it is “one of the most beautiful things.”

“Her and I both come from tight four member family units as well, so we try to do the same for our girls — keeping a tight little unit wherever we are,” Urban said. “We’ll make homes of film locations all over the world.”

Although the AFI event was Rose and Faith Marget’s first red carpet event, they have made another public appearance. In February 2021, Kidman, Urban, and their daughters virtually attended the 78th Annual Golden Globe awards when Kidman was nominated for “The Undoing.”

Over the years Kidman has expressed that she wishes she had more children.

“I love, love children,” she told BBC’s Victoria Derbyshire in January 2017. “I love raising children. They make me feel good, and I love being around, and I love the ups and downs, and I love watching them grow and the things they say and teach.”

Nicole Kidman ’s daughter Sunday Rose continued to prove she’s her mother’s mini-me during her latest public appearance.

Sunday, 16, joined Kidman, 57, at Omega’s Her Time event in Paris on Monday, July 29. In addition to posing for solo pics in a matching white cropped top, midi skirt and pointed-toe heels, Kidman smiled at the camera while holding hands with Sunday, who donned a gray suit vest and matching dress pants.

The mother-daughter duo showed off their likeness by wearing natural glam makeup and letting their blonde locks down.

One day prior, Kidman enjoyed a family outing with Sunday, her husband, Keith Urban , and youngest daughter, Faith Margaret, 13, at the Paris Olympics women’s street final skateboarding event. “Skater girls 🏅 #ParisOlympics,” Kidman captioned an Instagram video of herself watching the competition. (Kidman also shares kids Bella, 31, and Connor, 29, with her ex-husband, Tom Cruise .)

Sunday’s Paris red carpet outing marks the latest in her slew of recent appearances with Kidman. Last month, she and her mother twinned in all-black ensembles while attending a Balenciaga couture show at Paris Fashion Week.

While Kidman opted for a short-sleeved, long gown, Sunday complemented her look by donning a long-sleeved, high-neck mini dress and tights. Both the women accessorized their ensembles with black sunglasses.

Back in April, Sunday and her younger sister made a rare appearance alongside their parents, who wed in 2006, at the 49th AFI Life Achievement Award Gala held in Los Angeles. Sunday stunned in a white-and-pink floral gown, while Faith looked all grown up in a strapless coral dress. Urban, 56, kept things classy in a chic black suit and white dress shirt.

Kidman, who rocked a glittering gold gown, was honored with this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award, which is regarded as one of the highest honors in American cinema, for her decades-long career.

“At the AFI [Life Achievement Award] tribute, they saw the [ Eyes Wide Shut ] scene where I get stoned ,” she shared. “They showed that and I was like, ‘Ooooh. Golly. OK.’ I sat next to my daughter, Sunday, watching that. … She said, ‘Mom, that was good.’”

"Like mother, like daughter" was the apparent theme of Nicole Kidman's recent rare appearance with her daughter Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban in Paris.

Nicole Kidman issues warning about her 'perfect' 18-year marriage to Keith Urban

The perfect couple star married the country music singer on june 25, 2006.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have one of the longest marriages in Hollywood – but she has warned that their relationship is not as "perfect" as it seems.

The 57-year-old married the country music singer, 56, in Sydney in 2006 and they have faced challenges like any other couple, including Keith's three-month stint in rehab four months after they wed.

However, due to their regular public support of each other and their almost 20-year union, Nicole and Keith are often referred to as a "perfect couple" – but Nicole admits she doesn't believe in "perfect".

"There's no perfect anything," Nicole told E! News when asked if she believes in "a perfect couple".

"Anything that's presented as perfect… forget it," she added during an interview with her The Perfect Couple co-star, Liev Schreiber, to discuss their new Netflix show.

Nicole was then asked how she feels about her and Keith often being referred to as "a perfect couple", a title she chooses to ignore.

"I don't see any of that," she admitted, adding: "No, I don't see that."

It's not the first time Nicole has dismissed the notion that she has figured out the secret to a long and happy marriage.

"We don't want to be a pin-up couple," she previously told Today. "We just want to be a couple that has a great life together." 

She added: "Everyone has the right to their own relationship. We are just very protective of our little bubble. What works for us is what works for us."

Keith has echoed his wife's sentiments in the past, admitting he doesn't have one-size-fits-all advice for couples.

"I have no advice for anybody," Keith previously told  E! News .

Explaining his rationale, he said: "You guys figure out whatever works for you…We're figuring it out. You figure it out. Everybody's different. There's no one size fits all."

The couple tied the knot on June 25, 2006, at Cardinal Cerretti Memorial Chapel church in Sydney, Australia.

In April, Nicole reflected on the romantic day and revealed she had a 'pinch me' moment before the candle-lit ceremony.

"I remember being in Sydney and driving down the street and I was with my dad, who's obviously not around now, and he was in the car with me," she told People .

"We were driving to the church and there were so many people on the street, sort of celebrating us."

Nicole added: "It was just one of the most emotional things in my life… It really was an extraordinary day."

In 2013, Keith opened up about his wife on American Idol, saying: "I have an extraordinary wife in Nic, who is an amazing mother." And for Nicole, the feelings are mutual.

In a 2020 Today interview, she said: "I'm married to a really good man. And the kids have a great father and that's a very beautiful thing to be able to say." 

Nicole and Keith now share two children, Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 13.

Nicole also has two adopted children from her previous relationship with Tom Cruise, Connor, 29, and Bella, 31.

The perfect couple’s nicole kidman recently detailed how her and keith urban’s teenage daughters sunday and faith “go crazy” in her closet..

Shopping in Nicole Kidman 's closet is a true family affair.

The Big Little Lies alum recently spoke about how her teenage daughters Sunday Rose , 16, and Faith Margaret , 13—whom she shares with husband Keith Urban —love to create a mess when borrowing her clothes.

“They go into my closet and it looks like a bomb’s hit it,” the 57-year-old told Entertainment Tonight on Sept. 4. “They go crazy in there.”

In fact, Nicole has witnessed firsthand how her “very tall” teens create so much clutter over a simple item.

“They just take a T-shirt!” the Oscar winner continued. “But they wreak havoc.”

The Perfect Couple actress and her daughter Sunday attended Balenciaga's Haute Couture fall/winter 2024-2025 show during Paris Fashion Week in June, both wearing black ensembles.
