August Burns Red Announce 20-Year Anniversary Tour With Devil Wears Prada

Revolver  has teamed with August Burns Red for an exclusive "bloodshot" colored vinyl variant of  Death Below , limited to just 500 copies worldwide.  Grab yours from our shop before they're gone!

August Burns Red  are in go mode right now. Earlier this month, the metalcore vets announced their 10th full-length album,  Death Below (out March 2023), which features guest appearances from Killswitch Engage singer Jesse Leach, Underoath screamer Spencer Chamberlain and more. 

Today (November 14th), the band have announced that they'll be heading out on a massive North American tour in 2023, with support from the Devil Wears Prada and Bleed From Within.

The trek, which celebrates August Burns Red's 20-year history, is split into two legs, one that begins February 15th in Silver Spring, Maryland, that wraps up March 14th in Charlotte, North Carolina, and another that picks up April 13th in Philadelphia and concludes in Quebec on May 12th. 

"Where does the time go?," said ABR guitarist J.B. Brubaker. "I can remember playing 250 shows a year and touring in our van like it was yesterday. We are so grateful to have had the support of our fans year in and year out for two decades. We thank you, and cannot wait to celebrate with you!"

August Burns Red Book Two 20th Anniversary 2023 Tours With The Devil Wears Prada + Bleed From Within

Metalcore icons August Burns Red not only have a new album ( Death Below ) coming out next year, but they've also just announced two batches of 20th anniversary tour dates with special guests The Devil Wears Prada and Bleed From Within .

Fans can expect a career-spanning set that includes material from all of their studio albums, from the 2005 debut  Thrill Seeker through the aforementioned  Death Below , which drops on March 24 on SharpTone Records.

"Where does the time go?," asks lead guitarist JB Brubaker.

"I can remember playing 250 shows a year and touring in our van like it was yesterday. We are so grateful to have had the support of our fans year in and year out for two decades. We thank you, and cannot wait to celebrate with you," he continues, amped to hit the road in the winter.

The first run of dates is comprised only of U.S. stops and stretches from Feb. 15 through March 14. After that, it's a month-long break before all three groups load up their gear for 22 more shows from April 13 through May 12.

August Burns Red have embarked on their North American spring tour with support from The Devil Wears Prada and Bleed From Within. The group is gearing up to release their tenth studio album Death Below (out March 24, 2023). The extensive dates are in celebration of their 20th anniversary as a band. ABR's anniversary tour is separated into two legs. The first leg kicked off February 15 in Silver Spring, Maryland and runs through March 14 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The second leg begins April 13 in Philadelphia and wraps up May 12 in Quebec City.

The band's last documented performance was Christmas Burns Red on 12/17 in Lancaster, PA. See the setlist here .

August Burn Red performed a 19-song setlist at their tour kickoff in Silver Springs, Maryland. The band opened with "Fault Line" from their album Rescue & Restore. The song first made it's appearance on their setlist at Warped Tour 2013 , and has since been played 291 times. Two live debuts made their way into the kickoff show- "Ancestry" and "Backfire" from Death Below . The set wrapped up with 3-track encore. See the full setlist:

Grammy-nominated Lancaster five-piece August Burns Red - JB Brubaker [lead guitar], Brent Rambler [rhythm guitar], Matt Greiner [drums], Jake Luhrs [vocals], and Dustin Davidson [bass] - have a big year ahead of them in 2023.

The band will drop its new album, Death Below, on March 24 via SharpTone Records, and have also announced its 20 Year Anniversary Tour, during which they will play material off all nine of their albums as they hit North America.

The first leg of the tour kicks off on February 15 in Silver Spring, MD and runs through March 14 in Charlotte, NC. The second leg launches on April 13 in Philadelphia, PA and wraps on May 12 in Quebec. The tour marks the first time the band has played Canada since 2019.

The support acts are The Devil Wears Prada, and Scottish band Bleed From Within, who are touring the US for the first time. The bands will appear on both legs of the tour.

"It's no secret that the past few years have been extremely dark and challenging," Brubaker says. "Death Below is here as a result of that time in each our lives and the emotions that came with it. We were motivated by uncertainty, fear, outrage, and triumph. I feel this is the darkest, most personal album we've ever written, and I couldnt be more proud of what the five of us made together."

The album features additional guest spots from guitarist Jason Richardson, as well as JT Cavey of Erra and Spencer Chamberlain of Underoath.

August Burns Red recently announced the third annual Christmas Burns Red. The 2022 edition takes place December 16 + 17 at the Lancaster County Convention Center in Lancaster, PA. Details regarding tickets, VIP packages, and lodging can be found here .

August Burns Red will headline both nights. It's the band's first time performing two nights at Freedom Hall. Previous years found the band playing a smaller kick-off show in a club setting and following with a show at Freedom Hall.

December 16 will also be "Solid State Day" and features a lineup of bands from the Solid State Record roster. ABR's set for this show will be comprised exclusively of material from their Solid State catalog.

"Christmas Burns Red is an event we've worked so hard to make better each year," the band says. "This is our first year doing two days in Freedom Hall and we can't wait to watch all these awesome and talented bands play across the weekend. These shows are always the highlight of ABR's year. We look forward to making new memories with everyone in December!"

August Burns Red, The Devil Wears Prada & Bleed From Within Announce North American Tour

Lancaster, PA-based metalcore outfit August Burns Red will celebrate their 20th anniversary on the road next year. The group have announced a new North American headlining tour, which will find them drawing on material from all of their full-length studio albums, and presumably their forthcoming tenth studio album “ Death Below ” as well.

August Burns Red have announced a Spring 2023 North American tour to mark their 20th anniversary as a band. The Devil Wears Prada and Bleed From Within will provide support.

The extensive run is separated into two legs. The first kicks off February 15th in Silver Spring, Maryland, and runs through March 14th in Charlotte, North Carolina. The second leg launches April 13th in Philadelphia and wraps up May 12th in Quebec City.

A Spotify ticket pre-sale begins tomorrow (November 15th) at 10 a.m. ET, while a Live Nation pre-sale starts Thursday at 10 a.m. local time using the code HEADLINE . General sales launch Friday (November 18th) at 10 a.m. local time. You can pick up tickets via Ticketmaster .

August Burns Red are also offering VIP packages, including an exclusive, 200-plus page photo book spanning each year of the band’s career. Visit the ABR website for more information.

“Where does the time go?,” said lead guitarist JB Brubaker via a press release. “I can remember playing 250 shows a year and touring in our van like it was yesterday. We are so grateful to have had the support of our fans year in and year out for two decades. We thank you, and cannot wait to celebrate with you!”

August Burns Red 20-Year Anniversary Tour set for 2023

Grammy-nominated Lancaster five-piece August Burns Red have a big year ahead of them in 2023. First, the band will drop its new album,  Death Below , on March 24. ABR has also announced its 20-Year Anniversary Tour, during which they will play material off all nine of their albums as they hit North America.

Lead guitarist JB Brubaker shares more about the announcement:

“Where does the time go? I can remember playing 250 shows a year and touring in our van like it was yesterday. We are so grateful to have had the support of our fans year in and year out for two decades. We thank you, and cannot wait to celebrate with you!”

The first leg of the tour kicks off on February 15 in Silver Spring, MD and runs through March 14 in Charlotte, NC. The second leg launches on April 13 in Philadelphia, PA and wraps on May 12 in Quebec in Canada. The tour marks the first time the band has played Canada since 2019. The support acts are The Devil Wears Prada, and Scottish band Bleed From Within, who are touring the U.S. for the first time. The bands will appear on both legs of the tour.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, November 18 at 10 a.m. local time.
