The hotel is new, clean and spacious. We are a family of 4 and staying in a 5 people connecting room. I highly recommend the connecting room because there are 2 toilets which is very much needed for 4 people. The toilets are spacious and showers come with regular shower head and a rain shower. The water pressure and temperature is great. They clean rooms every 3 days which I personally do not mind. You can have your towels changed everyday if you wish and you simply place the used towels in the basket outside your room before midday. Same for the rubbish the needs to be emptied. The beds being tatami style are slightly harder than my liking but that us my personal preference. Highly recommend.

Stayed at The Tourist Hotel Akihabara for 8 nights in Tokyo during the sakura season. The hotel is a 10-15mins walk from JR Akihabara station. There are nice little restaurants nearby and a family mart within 1 min walk. We enjoy the ¥500 dinner at a small and traditional 24hr japanese restaurant that is along the walk back from the JR station. The room was comfortable with heater however, once you step out of the room, it is really chilly. It is open air in the floor lobby. Check in is done via self check in kiosk where room cards will be dispensed. Room is small and we struggled to open our luggages. Hotel only does housekeeping every 3 days though we can leave our used towels and pajamas at the door entrance for daily change. There is a self operated laundry at level 2. However, you need to bring your own laundry detergent as the hotel does not provide. It will be good if the hotel can provide detergent at a smaller quantity at a fee so that we dont have to buy a bottle of detergent which goes to waste after our stay. Overall it was a comfortable stay though I would prefer to explore other options in future.

We loved this place! Clean and very welcoming. Check in was quick and the room was perfect. The beds were very comfortable, shower was great and location was in a very nice and quiet area. We stayed at another place on our return to Tokyo and wish we had booked this place again.
