You can board the bus at any stop and voucher can be exchanged directly with the driver. The First Bus stop is the Prado Museum, Plaza de Murillo, 28014, Madrid. Mobile vouchers and printed vouchers are accepted at all stops. You will receive a ticket in exchange for your voucher, which you must keep until the expiry date/ tour. Please check your ticket to know when it expires. After exchanging your voucher for a ticket, your voucher will no longer be valid. In loss of voucher/ticket, company is not liable for any refund. Flexible Ticket: Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Mobile App: Download "City Sightseeing Spain" mobile app. You will get latest schedule and live bus tracking on your palm Operational Updates: 1.  Stops 1 and 16 on the Red Route will be closed every Sunday from 9am - 4pm. Summerizes the city’s high lights

For the first time in the city it is very recommended. Use both routes ti know what is in the city and go there by your self if you like it.

Took the bus tour during our stay in Madrid and really enjoyed the experience. Since we were at the first departing spot early, we were the first ones on the bus, therefore nabbing the best seats on the bus, which are the second floor up front, so I was able to film a lot of videos. We got caught with some traffic on the Plaza Mayor area but that’s the risk you take when you take a bus.

There is an information panel at the front of the bus, indicating the name of the tour route being travelled. Our vehicles have two internal staircases that connect both decks, and for your safety should only be used when the bus is parked at one of its stops.

Also, in order to make best use of the time available, passengers should use the front staircase to go up and the back staircase to go down. Madrid City Tour offers  free Wi-Fi  in its vehicles so that you can go online while travelling with us.

All of our tour buses are adapted for people with reduced mobility and are equipped with an access ramp at the back door and have a space reserved for wheelchairs inside. Each vehicle has an especially adapted space to accommodate a wheelchair. A member of our staff always travels on board the Madrid City Tour buses and can answer all your questions.

We will start the red route tour next to the world famous Prado Museum , in the heart of the Paseo del Arte. We will travel through the elegant Salamanca district until we cross the famous Puerta de Alcalá , without forgetting the spectacular Retiro Park and the Paseo de Alfonso XII.

We will pass by the Colón and Cibeles squares, cross the famous Gran Vía , full of theaters and stores until we reach the monumental Plaza de España , from where we will go to the Temple of Debod , an Egyptian architectural marvel in the heart of the Spanish capital.

From our open-top bus, we will explore Madrid de los Austrias and its historic center before heading back to the Paseo del Arte , where we will find two other exceptional museums, the Centro de Arte Reina Sofía and the Thyssen-Bornemisza.

The tour ends back at Canovas del Castillo Square, also known as Neptune Square, where you can admire the imposing statue dedicated to the Roman god or explore the surrounding area.

From there, you can switch to the green route to get into the most modern Madrid. Explore special an enlightening places such as: the Sculpture Museum , an open-air exhibition in the heart of the Paseo de la Castellana, the Natural Science Museum , the Archaeological Museum and the Lázaro Galdiano Museum.
