These campus visit programs are for students who have not yet been admitted to MSU.  If you are an admitted student, please sign up for an admitted student program . Prospective transfer students should sign up for a transfer student campus visit .

Reservations are required for all programs. Please note that all times are in the Eastern time zone.

Individual Visits

For visit options outside of those listed above, please contact  [email protected] . We have select days and times available for students and families to come during the workweek for an individual tour hosted by a Briggs Ambassador and a meeting with Jacki Dotts, the LBC recruitment coordinator. We encourage students to visit during our already scheduled Friday visits for the full experience. We are unable to tour the residential portion of Holmes Hall outside of Friday Visit Programs.

Admitted Student Events

Designed to provide a better understanding of the program, admitted students can build connections with JMC's academic advisors, DEI specialists, internship coordinator, career consultant, and professors. Admitted students also get to experience a JMC mini-class session taught by one of our professors! 

JMC will be participating in this campus-wide event with exciting and informative programming, allowing admitted students to explore their interests and get familiar with resources and opportunities at JMC. 

Check back in early 2025 for the next Admitted Student Day, which is typically scheduled in April.

  If you're considering applying to MSU, Green and White Days (held annually in the summer) is the program for you! JMC hits the road for this series of events in the late spring! With locations being planned in West Michigan and Southeast Michigan, JMC's DEI Specialist will share information about the college with prospective students and their families.

MSU is currently offering in-person campus visits that include a guided walking tour. These in-person visit options can be found through our visit page . If you are unable to reserve a spot for a campus visit for any reason, or if you prefer to explore our campus independently, you and your guests are welcome to undertake a self-guided tour.

What you need to know

• Review travel regulations and guidelines before visiting campus.
• The Union is open Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• The Admissions office is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
