How it works?

The host only has to set up tables and chairs, and provide plates and utensils. We bring our own hibachi grill and experienced chef. Each guest can choose their own customized meal. It starts with a side salad and comes with hibachi vegetables, fried rice, and 2 choices of protein.

These Are the Top Sushi Spots in the U.S., According to Yelp

Be it a California roll, a rainbow roll, or a spicy tuna, Americans love their sushi. A lot. According to a 2023 study by Sakuraco , the U.S. is the second-most sushi-obsessed country on Earth, following just behind Canada. If you are one of the millions searching for the best sushi spots in the nation each month, we've got some good news: Yelp has released its Top 100 Sushi Spots in America. 

The site released its list, identifying the top businesses in the nation in the sushi category. It ranked its list using several factors, including the total volume and ratings of reviews by its users, parsing through millions of comments in the process. 

"There's no denying that Americans love sushi. The Japanese dish — made with perfectly seasoned and vinegared rice and fresh raw (or cooked) seafood, and sometimes vegetables or meat — is one of the top-growing U.S. dining categories, according to Yelp's 2023 State of the Restaurant Industry Report," Yelp shared in a blog post. "Yelp reviewers have identified the best places to find expertly made sushi all across the country, from a food truck in Hawaii to an intimate sushi bar in New York City." 

After looking at the data, it named Kauai Sushi Station , a food truck on the island of Kauai, Hawaii , as the number one best spot — a slot it has held for two years in a show.  

"We make sushi with aloha from the heart," sushi chef and owner James Jithitikunchai shared with Yelp. 

Joining Kauai Sushi Station at the top of the list is Imari Sashimi and Sushi from Upland, California, in second place. The takeout-only spot took the runner-up spot thanks to its more than 250 5-star reviews. It's followed by another California sushi destination, Hamachi Sushi Express in La Habra, in third. That's followed by Taneda Sushi in Kaiseki in Seattle and Omakase by Korami , a prix-fixe 15-course tasting menu restaurant in New York City, rounding out the top five. 

As for what Yelp believes makes these spots stand out, it credits their "specially sourced delicacies," with many of the top spots sourcing directly from Japan, along with their "wide variety of preparations," offering diners nigiri, sashimi, sushi rolls, hand rolls, and poke bowls to choose from for their meal. 

And finally, Yelp noted many also offer a "chef's-choice experience," known as an omakase. 

"When you order omakase, the chef will present a selection of the freshest, best-tasting items chosen for that evening," Yelp explained. "Reviewers especially praise restaurants where the chefs explain each taste, tell stories, offer sake pairings, and provide a fun experience."

CBP Rookie Scores Big on First Day at Atlanta Airport

"FLASH" A Beagle Brigade Member Sniffed Out Seeds, Wood, Yams and more on his first Day at Atlanta Airport

ATLANTA  – U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announces a notable achievement by its newest canine member on his first day of work. “Flash”, a rescued beagle, and the latest addition to CBP's Beagle Brigade, successfully identified and helped seize a substantial amount of prohibited food items at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

On May 10, Flash, newly trained to detect various agricultural products that pose potential threats to U.S. agriculture, alerted a CBP Agriculture Specialist to a passenger’s luggage arriving from Nigeria. Upon further inspection, CBP discovered prohibited items including infested beans, cow skin, herbs, soup mix, seeds, wood, and yams. The vigilant rookie canine also uncovered fresh fruits, vegetables, and meat products. These items, which could carry pests or diseases, were seized, and destroyed.

"We are thrilled to welcome Flash to our Atlanta team," said Clay Thomas Atlanta Area Port Director for CBP, "His successful detection on his first day underscores the critical role our canine units play in protecting American agriculture.” Thomas further shared, “Flash’s keen sense of smell and dedicated training are invaluable assets in our ongoing efforts to safeguard our country.” 

Flash’s addition to the Beagle Brigade highlights CBP’s commitment to utilizing innovative and effective measures in preventing the introduction of harmful pests and diseases into the United States. The use of agriculture detection dogs is a critical component of CBP’s strategy to protect the nation’s agriculture and natural resources.

Rescued and trained at the National Detector Dog Training Center in Newnan, Georgia, Flash’s journey from the Humane Society in Blue Ridge Georgia to duty at ATL airport is a testament to the agency’s dedication to animal welfare and our Homeland Security mission. CBP’s Beagle Brigade, with its highly trained canine handlers, continues to be a frontline defense against potential agricultural threats.

During a typical day, CBP agriculture specialists across the nation seized 2,677 prohibited plant, meat, animal byproducts, and soil, and intercepted 240 insect pests at U.S. ports of entry. See what more CBP accomplished during " a Typical Day ."

Delta’s new nonstop Orlando-to-London Heathrow flight takes off this winter

Floridians can now enjoy greater connectivity to Europe with new seasonal service from Orlando to London Heathrow starting Oct. 26. With the addition of this route, Orlando will become Delta’s only direct service from the Sunshine State to the U.K and Delta’s 8th destination served nonstop from London for the winter season. Additionally, the new route from Orlando (MCO) to London Heathrow (LHR) bolsters Delta’s expanding network between Florida and Europe, with current winter service from Orlando to Amsterdam and the newly announced service from Tampa to Amsterdam.

Delta One customers can stretch out in a lie-flat seat and enjoy premium amenities like plush bedding made from recycled plastic bottles, more beverage options and a seasonal chef-curated four-course meal. Customers flying in Delta Premium Select will have more space to relax and stretch out, with a wider seat, deeper recline, an adjustable footrest and leg rest.
