Birmingham police hold press conference after officer shoots man
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Birmingham Police Department is holding a press conference at 2 p.m. after an officer shot a man during a chase on Wednesday.The shooting took place near the 4700 block of 13th Avenue North. BPD reported that Jaylin Patton, 28, shot at an officer during a foot chase, who returned fire and struck him.
