Two Legends, One Stage: Caifanes + Café Tacvba 2024 Announce A Joint Tour

Tickets available starting tuesday december 12 @ 10am (local time), general onsale begins on friday december 15 at 10am (local time) on livenation.com.

In an unprecedented collaboration, two legendary Mexican bands, Caifanes and Cafe Tacvba, are set to embark on their first-ever joint tour in the United States. This historic musical journey promises fans an unforgettable experience as the two groups come together to celebrate their legacies and showcase the power of Mexican rock on an international stage. Produced by Live Nation, the 20-city tour kicks off on May 29 and will go across the US until June 30.

Both bands originated in the late 80s in Mexico City. Despite their distinct musical styles, this tour is a testament to the enduring power of music, showcasing how these bands have evolved and continue to resonate with audiences across time.

TICKETS: Tickets will be available starting with a Citi presale (details below) beginning on Tuesday, December 12. Additional pre-sales will run throughout the week ahead of the general on-sale beginning on Friday, December 15 at 10am local time at Livenation,com .

About Caifanes

Caifanes is a rock en español band from Mexico City. Formed in 1985, the group achieved international fame during the late 1980s and early 1990s. The original lineup consisted of Saúl Hernández (vocals & guitar), [[]] [es] Sabo Romo (bass guitar), Alfonso André [es] (drums), and Diego Herrera (keyboards and saxophone).Alejandro Marcovich later joined Caifanes as lead guitar player. Caifanes’ style can be described as a hybrid of British new wave, progressive rock and Latin percussion underscored by deep, somber, and Latin American-Mexican-Spanish-influenced lyrics and the vocal style of Saúl Hernández. Members of Caifanes have cited The Cure, The Beatles and King Crimson as major influences, with Adrian Belew having produced their third studio album, El Silencio, as well as making a guest appearance on it.

The name Caifanes is derived from 1940s Mexican pachuco (zoot suiter) slang "Cae fine". Its equivalent in English would be “cool dude.” The word has also been used to describe the proverbial Mexican pachuco, delinquent, or outsider.

Well Caifanes are my Gods their concerts are rituals where I can fly and feel free!! I never miss their ritual. So the only think that I can say is. It was amazing like always

The Concert was AWESOME, the only bad thing was the securities smell like marihuana. At the end of the show the securities were rude with ppl demamding to get out, and they had actitud.
