Sweat sets are a must for travel days. You look put together in a matching set, while still being insanely comfortable for the car ride or plane ride ahead. I personally love when the top has a quarter or half zip, so I can easily layer with a tank or t-shirt underneath in case I get warm. These sets have either matching joggers or wide leg pants, so you can check out what fits your personal style.

Co-founders Courtney Dey and Noah Seis of JetSet Cosmetics introduce an internet-inspired new product for reducing the visual appearance of dark eye circles and under-eye bags.

Trends in beauty are more visible than they have ever been, thanks to modern social media platforms. While makeup enthusiasts used to have to rely on experimentation or written breakdowns, today’s video content has empowered everyday people and leading beauty gurus to share their most coveted and creative beauty tricks.

Although these platforms create a wonderful way for people to connect, they also provide an exceptional opportunity for companies to understand the needs of their customers and adapt in real-time. With its upcoming launch, JetSet Cosmetics is giving people what they want–a TikTok-inspired 2-in-1 product that refreshes and treats the skin under the eyes while offering exceptional coverage.

Since its launch in 2019, JetSet Cosmetics has aimed to unite a passion for travel and beauty through its website and Instagram . Founded by two friends and neighbors, Courtney Dey and Noah Seis, this travel-themed brand provides helpful everyday items while paying tribute to iconic locations from all around the world. Offering products that help customers look and feel their best while taking up minimal physical space, JetSet Cosmetics was made for those who fly, drive, and sail.

Their expanding product line has introduced several new products throughout the years, including their signature scent, Concourse A , and their City Palette Eyeshadow Quads , which were inspired by two of the co-founders’ favorite cities–London and Amsterdam.

With their latest release, the brand is introducing the Lost Luggage Concealer line, an under-eye concealer based on social media trends that was made to keep wearers looking wide awake no matter how jetlagged they are.

Many of the world’s most popular products are born from listening to the needs of others, and Lost Luggage Concealer is no exception. Seeing the viral “red lipstick” trends online that offer solutions for combatting dark circles under the eyes, the JetSet Cosmetics team saw an opportunity to give people the benefits of a red base layer while allowing them to feel confident in the makeup being applied to the vulnerable skin beneath their eyes.

The trend reveals countless internet regulars applying red lipstick as a base layer to conceal dark circles beneath a top layer of standard skin tone concealer. The benefit of this layer to cover dark circles is clear, but the potential risks of applying lipstick under the eyes are not.

“Lipstick is oily and made with ingredients designed specifically for the lips, which means they are unlikely to benefit the under-eye area and may actually harm them instead,” shares JetSet Cosmetics co-founder Courtney Dey, explaining how the thick and sticky makeup of lipstick poses a particular risk when it is time to remove it after the fact.

Although these beauty gurus and business founders love the creativity of the red base layer, they believe that people need dedicated eye makeup to safely gain its benefits. Given the delicate nature of the skin underneath the eyes, it is a well-known beauty insight that choosing the right products for this area is key. This belief was heavily integrated into the design of Lost Luggage Concealer, which boasts a specially designed eye-friendly composition that includes the brand’s signature anti-aging formula.

The visual impacts of using a red base layer are part of the draw of this trendy makeup strategy, but the simplistic nature of the trend is another part of its appeal. With most videos showing only a handful of steps, it is a trend that even the newest makeup enthusiasts can manage. The quick convenience of this trend was another part of the Lost Luggage Concealer design.

“Our dual-ended design was a critical part of Lost Luggage,” says co-founder Noah Seis, highlighting their goal to make it as easy to use as possible. To demonstrate the simplicity of its use, he breaks down the process, stating, “All you have to do is place dots of red concealer across the dark circles, allow the color to dry, then apply the concealer that matches your skin tone and blend.”

Every product created and coined by JetSet Cosmetics was made for travel lovers, with each one offering maximum benefit while taking up minimal space in a carry-on. The first release of Lost Luggage will include a medium-toned concealer alongside the signature red base layer, with more skin tones to come in the future. The line will bring the beauty and balance of the color red to travelers of all skin types.
