CTAT fulfills a Department of State mandatory training requirement for all personnel traveling internationally for less than a cumulative 90 days for the calendar year. CTAT is not required for, and does not include, non-official (personal) international travel. CTAT training on the CLC takes approximately 5 hours to complete all modules.

13 FAM 102.4 PER DIEM RELATED TO TRAINING
13 FAM 102.4-2 When Detailed to a Training Institution. a. Travel expenses for family members of employees detailed to training will not be authorized, nor will there be authorization for shipment or storage of effects. Employees detailed for long-term training will be authorized per diem in accordance with 14 FAM 573 and 14 FAM 575.
Functional Training for Foreign Service Family Members
The Department of State is authorized to provide functional training to family members of U.S. Government direct-hire personnel anticipating an overseas assignment (section 704 of the Foreign Service Act of 1980). Functional training for prospective employment is offered to family members on a space available basis.

S-400 missile system
The 48N6E3 missile used by the S-400. The development of the S-400 system began in the late 1980s and was announced by the Russian Air Force in January 1993. [5] On 12 February 1999 successful tests were reported at Kapustin Yar in Astrakhan, and the S-400 was scheduled for deployment by the Russian army in 2001. [6] Alexander Lemanskiy of Almaz-Antey was the Chief Engineer on the S-400 project.
