Failures and Defects

Our warranty policy covers any failures and/or defects to the functionality of the club due to manufacturer defects that occur during normal usage. Upon arrival, we will examine the functionality on a case-by-case basis. Failures and defects to the function of the club may include but are not limited to:

• Shaft failure and or defect occurring up to 6 inches above the hosel
• Shaft failure and or defect occurring within the grip portion of the shaft
• Head Failure and or defect occurring within the contact/perimeter of the club face

In the event of warranted failure/defect, Rock Bottom Golf will: (a) Repair Defect and return to customer free of charge; (b) Replace with similar model club (if in stock); (c) Refund product purchase price in store credit.

Typical wear that you will see on an Excellent condition club is normal ball marks that are lightly visible on the face, minimal scratching to the crown, soul and edges. Clubs have seen normal usage for an extended period of time or at least one season, the wear you’ll notice will be typical of the age of the model. All of the wear is purely cosmetic, and will not in any way affect the performance of the club. Former Blizzard boss says the $700 PS5 Pro is really more like a $350 upgrade because it's aimed at people who can trade in their PS5s at "places like GameStop"

"Good news is no one has to buy it"

Former Blizzard president Mike Ybarra has some thoughts on the newly revealed PS5 Pro's controversial $700 price tag .

Yes, the PS5 Pro is an eye-watering Seven Hundred Buckaroos, and for that substantial price you get a much beefier GPU with the capacity for 45% faster rendering and considerably improved ray tracing. There's also the new PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (or PSSR) tech, which provides AI-powered upscaling for a sharper image via machine learning. No matter how you slice it, $700 is a lot of money in the best of times, and even more so in these economically uncertain times. In a tweet , Ybarra said there's a way to "think of this a bit differently," arguing that the updated console is targeted toward "existing users upgrading" and that Sony 's model factors in existing trade-in and resale values to lower the barrier to entry.

"The model is: existing PS5 owners can trade in their PS5 at places like GameStop for $350 in credit (today), apply that to the $699 price point, and now the upgrade cost is $350," Ybarra said. "While still not easy, much easier to stomach for some. This is the fundamental model they use. It won't fit for everyone, but it's all part of the larger go to market plan."

It's worth noting that, adjusted for inflation, the PS5 Pro is less expensive than the original PS3 was when it released for $600 in 2006. Other than that one example though, it's the most expensive PlayStation ever, even when adjusted for inflation.

In a response to his original tweet, Ybarra rightly pointed out that "no one has to buy" the new console and offered that, for folks who can afford the luxury, "it's nice to say you have the fastest and most powerful console on the market."

Despite this reading as out of touch as you'd expect from any CEO, it's all technically true. My local GameStop in Phoenix, Arizona is offering "up to" $385 for the vanilla PS5 with the disc drive (eBay listings hover around $350). That means if I traded my PS5 in today for a PS5 Pro I'd pay somewhere around $315 for the upgrade, although Ybarra's analysis ignores the fact that the PS5 Pro doesn't include a disc drive , which is $80 bought separately, or a vertical stand, a $30 purchase.

And of course, the crux of his argument assumes that those trade values will hold and ignores the market segment, no matter how small, that doesn't already have a PS5. It just seems like a lot of words to essentially say, 'yeah it's expensive, but it's less expensive if you have an object of value to offset the cost.'

"For many, existing PS5 is fine and people should be happy," Ybarra concluded. "Kind of like the S, it's fine. Some don't need the X. I get it's hard for developers to support all these different HW capabilities, but it is what it is."

PS5 pre-orders go live on September 26 and the console launches November 7.

Sheikh Hamdan attends first-ever Dubai AI and Web3 Festival

Challenge X global platform to accelerate artificial intelligence adoption unveiled

Dubai: The first edition of ‘Dubai AI and Web3 Festival’, which aims to attract 30,000 delegates annually by 2027, began on Tuesday with 6,800 business leaders.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, and Chairman of the Higher Committee for Future Technology and Digital Economy, attended the opening of the two-day event.

Challenge X, a global platform to accelerate AI adoption, was also unveiled during the event.

The Festival, organised by the Dubai AI Campus in strategic partnership with the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and the Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy & Remote Work Applications Office, has brought together more than 6,800 business leaders. The event, which concludes on Thursday, aims to consolidate Dubai’s position as a global leader in harnessing transformational power of AI.

During his visit, Sheikh Hamdan toured several pavilions at the venue, where he was briefed on the emerging technologies showcased by more than 100 exhibitors. He highlighted that the participation of the world’s most innovative AI enterprises reflects the event’s significance as a pioneering platform for technological innovation in the region.

Accompanying Sheikh Hamdan during the tour were Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications; Essa Kazim, Governor of DIFC; and Arif Amiri, CEO of DIFC Authority.

Digital economies

The first day of the Festival focused on the broad theme of Enabling Digital Economies. Specific sessions delved into connecting technologies, scalability and storage; innovation and investments; and security and privacy.

Delivering the opening keynote address, Kazim said: “Today, Artificial Intelligence is reshaping societies in profound ways, driving progress and enhancing our quality of life. The transformative power of AI is evident across a wide range of economic sectors and applications including healthcare, education, manufacturing, transportation and financial services, among others.”

“A deep-rooted culture of innovation has been instrumental in establishing the city as a global hub for technology companies. Over the past 20 years, DIFC has played a pivotal role in driving this innovation and shaping the economy and we seek to establish Dubai as the global capital of the digital economy.”

He announced that the Dubai AI & Web3 Festival will become one of the largest events globally for the industry, attracting more than 30,000 delegates annually by 2027. The Governor of DIFC also announced the launch of a unique platform called Challenge X to help advance AI globally. This digital platform will serve as an online community for data scientists and machine learning enthusiasts, hosting competitions and providing a venue for individuals to showcase their skills and collaborate with others in the field. Users can test their abilities against a global audience, with prizes awarded to top performers.

Distinguished speakers at the event include Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal Al Saud, Founder & CEO, KBW Ventures, Saudi Arabia; Omar Sultan Al Olama, UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications; Faisal Belhoul, Vice Chairman of the Dubai Chamber and Chairman of J&F Holdings; Khalfan Behoul, CEO of the Dubai Future Foundation; Issam Kazim, CEO of Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing; Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, Minister, Ministry of Communications and Digitalisation, Ghana; Savannah Maziya, Minister, Ministry of Information, Communication, and Technology, Kingdom of Eswatini; and Younus Al Nasser, CEO of the Dubai Data and Statistics Establishment, Dubai Digital Authority.

The event is also featuring other global industry leaders including Adel Ahmad Al Redha, Deputy President and Chief Operations Officer of Emirates Airline; Caroline Yap, Global Managing Director, AI Business and Applied Engineering, Google Cloud, USA; and Maja Pantic, Generative AI Research Director, Meta, UK.

According to a recent report by PwC, by 2030 the Middle East is expected to accrue $320 billion of AI-related benefits. The largest beneficiary is expected to be the UAE, followed by Saudi Arabia.

How to get to the radisson hotel ulyanovsk.

The hotel is a 34-kilometer drive from the airport, and the trip will take around 45 minutes.

From the airport head to P178 and turn right. After approximately 13.7 kilometers, keep left to continue on P178. Follow this street for 2.3 kilometers. Once you have crossed the bridge over the Volga river, continue onto Stepan Razin street. At the end of this street, turn right onto Ulitsa Gonchorova. When you reach the roundabout at the end of the street, turn onto Ulitsa Gonchorova and follow it 300 meters to the hotel.

The hotel is a 13.5-kilometer drive from the airport, and the trip will take around 30 minutes.

From the airport, head to P178 and turn right. Continue until the roundabout. Continue onto Moscow highway and follow this for 8.6 kilometers and through another roundabout. Turn left onto Ulitsa Gonchorova and drive until you reach the roundabout; you’ll pass the hotel on your left along they way. Go through the roundabout and drive back down Ulitsa Gonchorova to the hotel on your right.

The hotel is 8.1 kilometers from the airport by car, and the trip takes about 15 minutes.

From train station head northeast and turn right on Lokomotivnaya street. Drive 3.7 kilometers and continue onto Kirova street for 2.1 kilometers. The street becomes Zhelenya Diviziya. Turn right on Minayeva and continue 800 meters along Ulitsa Goncharova to the hotel.

The maximum vehicle height permitted at Radisson Hotel Ulyanovsk's parking area is 250 cm.

Radisson Hotel Ulyanovsk are welcome at cats & dogs. Please note that maximum weight allowed is 20 Kg and the maximum height allowed is 75 cm.
