Travel to the cosmopolitan city of Montreal where we spend our first night.

Enjoy a mid-day visit to historic Quebec City. Then, take the scenic drive to St. Simeon, and take a ferry across the St. Lawrence, spending the night in Riviere-du-Loup.

Arrive late afternoon in Miramichi, where you'll be welcomed after dinner with a down-home kitchen party.

Enjoy a fascinating visit to Olivier Soapery, followed by a cruise on the bay with lobster fishers with an included lobster feast. Cross the Confederation Bridge to P.E.I., spending two nights in Charlottetown.

A local guide joins us for a full day tour of Prince Edward Island. Visit Lucy Maude Montgomery's home, and enjoy a lunch reminiscent of the era of Anne of Green Gables

We return to New Brunswick, and travel south toward Nova Scotia. Stopping for a Fabric of Canada luncheon, we arrive this afternoon in Baddeck for a two-night stay.

We travel the Cabot Trail today, one of the most beautiful drives in North America.

This morning we travel from Baddeck to Halifax. Take in the scenery along the south shore of Minas Basin. Enjoy a guided city tour before checking into our home for the next three nights.

Visit the most photographed place in North America, Peggy's Cove. This afternoon, enjoy free time to explore the Halifax waterfront. The June 23 departure also features the Royal Nova Scotia Tattoo performance today. All other dates include a scenic harbour cruise aboard the tallship, Silva.

Travel through picturesque Mahone Bay to the historic town of Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic, and explore the downtown waterfront area.

Travel across Nova Scotia and into New Brunswick, visiting the famous Hopewell Rocks. one of the most iconic natural sights in the Maritimes. The vista changes moment by moment, as the tide makes its way in and out of the basin twice per day. Then, stop at Magnetic Hill and experience the bizarre sensation of coasting uphill.

Enjoy a beautiful drive along the St. John River, stopping in Fredericton for a guided tour of the city.

Day Thirteen

Travel along the south shores of the St. Lawrence this morning to Montreal, our home for the night. A farewell dinner is included this evening at a lovely downtown restaurant.

Day 1 Montreal - New York City

1, Departure from Montreal. Drive all the way till Albany to take a rest and lunch in Albany, the capital of the State of New York.

2, Then continue to the second largest city in the world - New York City. expected arrival time to Manhattan: 15:00- 16:00. Upon arrival, star our visit by the famous Times Square, visit the famous Wax Museum Madame Tussaud, or free time to stroll round for shopping and diner.

3, Around 8:00 pm, head to the hotel in New Jersey. (Back to hotel earlier for long weekend and high season because of the ealier departure)

Day 2 New York City Tours

1, Start off to the South Street sea port in New York after breakfast. A cruise tour on water to see the world’s famous Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, Ellis Island, skyscrapers of Manhattan, then a walking tour through the Wall Street and Ground Zero – the site of 911.

2, After lunch, take the elevator to the top of the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, on levels 100, 101, and 102 of the 1,776 foot tall One World Trade Center building. One World Observatory provides unique, panoramic views of New York City, its most iconic sites, and surrounding waters.

3, At the afternoon, continue visiting Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum where you have the chance to discover the famous aircraft carrier USS Intrepid, the submarine USS Growler and army helicopter the real American space shuttle. Then, visit the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). It plays a major role in developing and collecting modern art, and is often identified as one of the largest and most influential museums of modern art in the world.  

4. In the end of afternoon, return to Times Square: free time for shopping and diner.

5, Back to the hotel in New Jersey around 08:30 pm or you can go back to hotel by yourself if you would like stay in New York until later.

Day 3 New Jersey - Woodbury - Montreal

1, After breakfast, leave for Woodbury Common Premium Outlets, the biggest and most famous outlet in North America, where you will find the items from all the famous brands at very favorable price in the Mall (closed on Christmas day December 25th).

2, After lunch, leave for Montreal and stop at the duty free store (American side).

3, Pass the border back to Canada and we will arrive in the Chinatown of Montreal.

Today, Cyndi Lauper has announced the Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour.  Produced by Live Nation, the 23-city headlining tour – Lauper’s first major run in a decade – begins on October 18th at Bell Centre in Montreal, QC, making stops across North America in her hometown of New York City at the iconic Madison Square Garden, plus Boston, Nashville, Los Angeles, and more before wrapping up in Chicago, IL at United Center on December 5th. Throughout the tour, Lauper will be joined by special guests to be revealed at a later date.

Tickets will be available starting with an artist presale beginning Tuesday, June 4. The announcement of her farewell tour arrives alongside LET THE CANARY SING , a feature-length documentary film that explores Lauper’s extraordinary life and career. The documentary will premiere exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Canada on Tuesday, June 4. In celebration of the tour and the film, Lauper will be honored with an imprint ceremony at the prestigious TCL Chinese Theatre Hollywood tomorrow (June 4) in Los Angeles. A special private screening of the film at the TCL Chinese Theatre will follow that evening, along with a Q&A.

Tesla is preparing to get Full Self-Driving package approved in China

According to a new report, Tesla is preparing to get Full Self-Driving (FSD) package approved in China – starting with employee vehicles.

Last month, Tesla’s stock jumped on a report that the automaker was “ granted approval under certain conditions ” to deploy FSD in China.

The report came after CEO Elon Musk met with Premier Li Qiang and it did sound like it was an unofficial deal as Tesla still needed to go through the proper channels.

Now, Reuters reports that Tesla is going through that process by registering the product with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology:

A successful software registration with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will pave the way for Tesla to internally test Full Self-Driving (FSD) by having its employees drive on China’s public roads before delivering it as an upgrade to its Chinese users in the coming months, said two of the people. The company currently offers two, less-advanced versions of its Autopilot driver assistance system in China.

Like the rollout in North America, Tesla is expected to adapt the system to Chinese roads by collecting data from customers vehicles and then testing the system in an internal employee fleet.

This is why I never felt comfortable paying for FSD. Paying thousands of dollars to be a beta tester was a notion that I just couldn't wrap my head around.

It's nothing more than a driver's aid until it's fully autonomous, and when the day comes that it's no longer level 2, then I might entertain the thought of paying $8k.

As the automaker sees the system working on Chinese roads, it would deploy to customer vehicles through over-the-air software updates.

Tesla is also working on a similar effort in Europe, where its FSD features have also yet to be approved.

The automaker’s efforts to deploy the more advanced driver assist features in new markets come after the release of FSD v12 in North America, which Musk touted as an important step toward self-driving.

The CEO insists that the company is on the verge of achieving its long-time promise, but for now, Tesla FSD remains a level 2 ADAS system with all responsibility lying with the driver rather than Tesla.
