A wonderful destination

In February of that year, I was in Morocco for 14 days with my 6-year-old daughter. We contracted the Morocco Tours Agency service who lives in the country and knows the best everything there. We start with Casablanca, then continue on to the beautiful blue city, Fes, Merzouga, Dades, Ouarzazate, and finally Beautiful Marrakech.

We love everything from the cuisine to the wonderful night in the desert. My daughter enjoyed it a lot and enjoyed all the experiences. I recommend the service, the hotels, the incredible attention we got. It is very worthwhile to know this exotic destination.

I also visited the Majorelle Garden in Marrakech and it is very worth visiting. I recommend the work of this agency and thank you for the kindness with which you received us.

Juliana G

Exceptional Casablanca desert tours

It was a 9-day trip through Morocco, the itinerary prepared for me and my friend was excellent, as well as the attention and professionalism employed to make the trip safe, fun, and unforgettable.

We had no problems with anything. Even questions that were not the responsibility of the organizer, she helped us ... and guided us about the life and customs of the region.

Both the guides, the driver, and the transfer hired by the organizer were very professional and polite. We know a new world, a different reality, which has left its mark and its lessons on us.

I would like to give a special thanks to the staff of the Morocco Tours Agency.

I wish that many other people can fulfill the dream of a trip like this and have the tranquility that we had and the commitment that was dedicated to us.

Carval O

Unforgettable desert experience!

This agency is very dedicated and went out of their way to make sure everything was in line with my taste and my pocket (very important).

We camped in the Sahara desert, what an incredible experience to see the sky clear and starry, we camel with the Bedouins, we visited Fes and Casablanca, the girls, mosques ... I can only say that it was incredible and I am very grateful to have found Morocco Tours Agency.

After exploring the Berber Museum, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. This will be a great opportunity to try some traditional Moroccan cuisine.

After that, as you continue west, be sure to make a stop at the market center in Tinghir for a walk through its adobe kasbah. This is an excellent opportunity to see some of Morocco’s traditional architecture up close. After exploring the kasbah, you will make your way up to the Todgha Gorge, sometimes referred to as Morocco’s “Grand Canyon.” At 600 feet high, the gorge is an impressive sight.

Continue your journey southeast through the picturesque river valleys. You’ll eventually make your way up to the Dades Valley, which is considered to be the most picturesque valley in southern Morocco. Be sure to admire the varied orchards and adobe forts that line the valley. As you travel through the valley, you’ll also come across the Tamnalt Hills which has a strange rock formation – definitely worth a look at.

Eventually, you’ll reach the heart of the Rose Valley, where you’ll spend the night. Be sure to enjoy dinner and breakfast while you’re here.

It’s Day 8 already on your Morocco Tour from Casablanca and you’ll be up early today for the scenic drive to Ouarzazate via the Dades gorge and Rose valley.

After breakfast, you’ll depart from your hotel in the Dades valley and begin the drive to Ouarzazate. The first part of the journey takes you through the Dades gorge, with its towering cliffs and winding roads. You’ll then head into the Rose valley, where you can see the amazing colors of the rocks and the many different types of roses that grow in this region.

As you approach Ouarzazate, you’ll see the huge Atlas Studios, which have been used for many famous films including Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. You’ll also visit the Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most impressive fortified villages in Morocco.

After lunch, you’ll begin the journey over the Tizi N’Tichka Pass, the highest road in Morocco. The views from the top are simply breathtaking and you’ll have plenty of time to take photos and enjoy the scenery.

Finally, you’ll then descend into the beautiful Ourika valley before arriving in Marrakech, where your tour comes to an end.

7-day desert tour from Casablanca overview:

Join the best seven-day tour that goes through the Merzouga Sahara desert and starts in Casablanca. Before we go into the specifics, we want to make it clear that this trip can be changed in any way you want. To put it another way, you can get in touch with us to change your plans or make your own.

Most of the time, the 7-day desert tour starts and finishes in Casablanca, which is the economic city of Morocco. Rabat, Meknes, and Fes are the first three places you will visit. Second, you’ll go to the Merzouga desert and camp out under the stars while riding a camel. Third, you take the road to Marrakech, which takes you through a lot of different places, like Ouarzazate and the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. Finally, you will have the chance to tour Marrakech with a local guide and learn about its most famous sights before ending the tour in Casablanca.

7-day tour from Casablanca Itinerary

Day 1: casablanca to fes.

This is the first day of our 7-day tour from Casablanca. We will pick you up at the airport or your hotel. You will start by going to Morocco’s current city. This city has many beautiful sights, like Hassan Tower, which is a mosque tower that was meant to be the world’s largest. Second, you’ll go to Meknes, which was the capital city of Morocco. In Morocco, you will see many places, such as Lhdim park, which is the country’s second-largest park. Next to this is Bab Mansour, which is one of the most beautiful doors or gates in Morocco. You can also visit Qara jail in Meknes, which is said to be formed like a maze and goes underground. More than that, some say it goes all the way to Fes.

You will stop at the Roman ruins, also known as Volubilis, on your way to Fes. Volubilis was the capital of the Mauritanian kingdom. Last but not least, we will take you to your Fes hotel in the late evening so you can rest before your tour of the city the next day.

Day 2: Touring Fes

We will visit the royal city of Fes today, the second day of our seven-day trip from Casablanca. A guide from Fes will show you around the city after breakfast at your hotel or riad. Along with the Alqarawiyin University and the Chouara tannery, you’ll see a lot of other places.

As everyone knows, Fes is one of the most important places in Moroccan history. Because of this, going to the old Medina is like going back in time to learn about its amazing past. After that, the Chouara tannery is the biggest in Fes and all of Morocco. There, people make things out of leather and paint them different colors, sometimes with spices. Afterward, you will have the chance to see al-Qarawyine University, which was set up by a woman named Fatima Al-Fihri. The university is also the oldest in the world, which is pretty cool. When you visit the city, you will definitely see many other places, like Bab Boujloud and the Mellah areas (Jewish quarters).

Day 3: Fes to Merzouga Sahara desert

Afterward, you will have the chance to see al-Qarawyine University, which was set up by a woman named Fatima Al-Fihri. The university is also the oldest in the world, which is pretty cool. When you visit the city, you will definitely see many other places, like Bab Boujloud and the Mellah areas (Jewish quarters).

When you compare them to other places of Morocco, the weather and the way buildings are made are very different. We’ll pause in this city and take a stroll to see some of its interesting sights, like the Atlas Lion Statue.

We will also stop for lunch in the cities of Midelt and Zaida along the way. It will take some time to get to Morocco’s largest date valley from the Tizi Ntlghmt turns. One of our main stops will be this place because it has some of the best views. After that, we’ll leave for Merzouga, which is our last stop.

You’ll ride horses through the pretty sand hills when we go to the desert. Without a doubt, this evening is the most famous part of the tour. You will do many things, like watch the sun go down and the stars come out, and listen to Berber music and dancing.

Day 4: Merzouga to Boumalne Dades

After breakfast at the camp, we’ll start our 7-day tour from Casablanca. First, though, you can get up early to see the beautiful sunrise. We’ll start by riding a camel back to where we left off the day before. Once you get to Boumalne Dades, you’ll spend the night. You’ll take the car from there and drive through many beautiful places. A few of the beautiful places you will see are the towns of Rissani, Erfoud, Tinghir, and Tinjedad.

Rissani is the first stop. It is the capital of the Tafilalte area and the place where the Alaouite rule began. Erfoud is the second city, and it grows dates for the whole country. Additionally, Erfoud is home to many small businesses that work on making fossils and selling them inside and outside of Morocco. The other places are Tinjedad and Tinghir. You will see the 300-meter-high Todra Gorges, which are one of the most interesting places in the southeast of Morocco.

Day 5: Boumalne Dades to Marrakech

At the end of our seventh day in the desert, we will go to Marrakech, also known as the “red city.” These places are a little different from the ones we’ve been to before. “A place without noise” is what the city of Ouarzazate means in Berber. The city is also known as Moroccan Ouallywood, and moviemakers and directors from all over the world love to work there. The Atlas offices are located here. This is where movies are made and where they rent out different tools for other movies. Second, as you know, Morocco is famous for its unique kasbahs, and today you will have the chance to see one of the most beautiful ones.

The Ait Benhaddou Kasbah is famous for being built out of a unique type of clay. It is at the very tip of the High Atlas mountains.

Besides that, we will see many more beautiful places on our way from Boumalnes Dades to Marrakech. Using the Teleouat Kasbah, the Tizi Ntichka curves, the Rose Valley, and other places as models. At about 2260 meters above sea level, Tizi Ttichka has one of the best scenic views. From there, you can see the Tichka bends from a different angle.

Day 6: Getting to know Marrakech

On the sixth day of the seven-day tour from Casablanca, we will visit the beautiful city of Marrakech. Luckily, for the first time, the Unique Desert Tour comes with a local guide who will show you around the city in more detail and help you understand it better.

Jamaa El-Fna Square and the Koutoubia Mosque are two of the places you will visit. You will be going to both of these places at the same time because they are not too far apart. You will also see the Secret Garden, Majorelle Garden, and Menara Garden, all of which are very pretty. The Saadian tombs and the Mellah areas are also there, along with the Bahia Palace.

Day 7: Marrakech to Casablanca

Today is the last day of our 7-day tour from Casablanca. The plan depends on your trip details. If your flight is in the morning, we will drive you straight to the airport. If the trip is in the evening, on the other hand, we would stay in Marrakech longer to see more sights.

Our service finishes at Mohammed V International Airport, which is where we will go straight to on the highway. Finally, we hope you had a great time with us and made some great memories.

Testimonials of the 7-day tour from Casablanca

The best way to see morocco is to:.

Unique Desert Tour had great customer service. First and foremost, everything was perfectly organized, from the pick-up at the hotel to the number of places that were visited based on the time that was available, and so on. Ali, our tour guide, knows a lot about the past of his country and can speak seven languages. He did a great job of telling us about all the places we went. We also got the impression that we were with friends. I think this is the best way to see Morocco outside of the big towns, and it's also a very nice way to get around. We had a great time thanks to Ali and the rest of the Unique Desert Tour team. Really recommend!:)

7-day tour from Casablanca that you'll never forget

We booked a "7-day desert tour from Casablanca," and everything went as planned. Youssef, our guide, met us at our hotel at 8:00 a.m. as planned and took great care of us the whole time we were there. Our professional driver, Youssef, was very nice and did everything he could to make sure our trip to the desert went well. Because of him, we were able to sandboard alone on the sands and take beautiful pictures of ourselves at sunset without having to go on one of the more famous trips. Prices are very fair! You can close your eyes and go there!

Very strongly suggested!

We used Unique Desert Tour to plan a trip to the Moroccan desert this year and had a great time. The trip itself, the help with planning, the ideas for itineraries, the low prices, and all of it were great. Along the way, we saw so many wonderful things, like beautiful scenery and delicious food... We loved learning about Berber culture from Youssef because he knew so much about it. It was amazing to be in the Sahara. We really think you should go on this trip!

Great work by professionals!

Even though we just got out of the desert, I'm already making plans to go back. Thank you very much for our guide Mohammed and driver Youssef. They were wonderful, lovely, and lively, and they made our trip so much fun. There's no doubt that the tour was great, and the English-speaking guide made it even better. We're all happy to have met them. If it is possible, I will be able to tell my friends about them when they want to go to Morocco in the future Hahaha. The tour has beautiful scenery, but we missed the sunset when we stopped in the desert because of the weather. No matter what, we're happy with our trip.

7-day tour from Casablanca highlights overview

There are many beautiful places to see on the 7-day tour from Casablanca to Merzouga and back. That’s why Unique Desert Tour wants to give you a quick rundown of the most important ones.

The first stop on our 7-day Desert tour is Casablanca, which is one of the most important towns in Morocco. Its name at first was Anfa, which is a Berber word. After that, it changed its name to Dar-al-Baida, which means “White House.” Many different nations have left their mark on Casablanca. For a while, this city seemed to have been left behind or ignored. However, in the early 1800s, Casablanca was brought back to life through a series of investments. And let’s not forget its vital position.

The airport at Anfa is one of the biggest in the country, making it a great place to start your trip. Additionally, if you plan your trip to this city well, you will have the chance to see most of Morocco’s sights on the way to Marrakech.

People come to Casablanca to see the Grand Mosque of Hassan 2, which is partly built on the water. It is free to visit and has some of the best art and buildings in Morocco.

Fes, one of the country’s royal towns, is known for keeping its history alive. It is without a doubt one of the most important places in Morocco because it has kept old buildings and monuments in good shape. Bring shoes that are easy to walk in because there are many beautiful things to see.

Among other things, you will see the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss II, the opening to Bab Bou Jeloud, and the beautiful Al Karaouine Mosque. This second university is the oldest in the world, and it was started by a woman named Fatima al-Fihri. It was built as a mosque at first and was a place where students from many countries could get together. The truth is that it was an important part of Moroccan past and one of the best spiritual schools.

We will make sure that you see the many tanneries in the city and see for yourself how the hides are handled. You can guess that we will take you to Choura’s biggest tannery. The place smells a little bad because of the leather, but it’s still worth seeing. You can see how people work with leather and paint things different colors, sometimes with spices. There is one thing for sure: you will take beautiful pictures of Fes, Morocco’s culture capital.

Merzouga, the Sahara desert

The beautiful Merzouga, which is a highlight of many of our trips in Morocco, will definitely take your breath away. Before talking about the best things to see and do in this cute town, it’s best to start by talking about its past and where the name comes from. There are two different ways to explain where the name came from. In the beginning, some say that Merzouga got its name from the Merzoug family, who lived in the desert before tourists did.

Most of the people who live in Merzouga are originally Berber farmers. In other words, most of the people lived in huts at first and raised goats, sheep, and horses to make money.

The second idea says that the name comes from Arabic, since the word Merzouka in Arabic means “rich and prosperous land.”

The Merzouga Desert is a peaceful and quiet place. In the evening, spend a lovely evening riding a camel on the golden, quiet dunes of Erg Chebbi. The next night, spend the night with Berber farmers playing their instruments under the stars. There is also a desert trip you can take if you have enough time. You can rent a buggy or bike at Merzouga.

Marrakech is one of the most visited towns in Morocco and is thought to be the country’s tourist hub. It’s hard not to fall in love with it because it’s so pretty, one-of-a-kind, and has red brick buildings.

The houses there are what give it its name: “Red City.” The colors are bright and happy. The Koutoubia Mosque is the most important mosque in the area, so when you get to Marrakech, you should start your trip there. Bab Agnaou is one of the 19 gates to the city. It was built during the reign of Caliph Almohad Yacube Almanssour. Along with the tombs of the Saadians, there are also the graves of 60 members of the dynasty.

Unified Nations has named Jemaa el-Fna Square an Intangible Cultural Heritage site. It is the kind of place that will draw you in to one of Morocco’s most famous towns. A lot of people will be offering a wide range of things and performing arts. There’s a lot of dancing and singing. Your 7-day tour from Casablanca will cover all of these things and more.

Rabat is the most populous city in Morocco. It is beautiful and full of things to do. Maintaining its culture and building past is something that the city is known for. It also looks to the future and is very up-to-date. Considering how well-kept it is and how nice it feels, it’s not a surprise that it’s one of the most popular tourist spots.

The best native foods in the country can be found in a number of bars and restaurants. Also, it has a lot of theaters, libraries, museums, and other places for culture. These are some of the best things to see in the city: the Hassan Tower, the Kasbah of the Oudaias, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Enjoy a lovely stroll through the Andalusian Gardens, see the Casbah Mausoleum of the Oudaias, and learn more about Mohammed VI.

Meknes is the most beautiful city in Morocco. Aside from its natural beauty, though, the main reason tourists love it is its ancient site. As you might expect, Meknes is known as the “city of a hundred minarets.” It was once a royal capital surrounded by 40 kilometers of walls. When you visit the area, you will see structures and buildings that are thousands of years old and have been carefully preserved, like Bab Mansour, which is one of the most beautiful entrances in the world.

Take a walk around Agdal, a huge lake that looks like a rectangle. The Ethnographic Museum in Dar Jamai Palace is a fascinating place to visit because it has items that show the history and culture of the country.

On our 7-day tour from Casablanca, we will make sure to see the remains of Volubilis, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, and the Place Lahdim. Not to mention the Qara jail, which is one of the most interesting places to visit in Meknes. The jail is set up like a maze that goes down into the ground. People who were locked up inside it never found a way to get out. It’s meant to go from Meknes to Fes. Surprisingly, some stories say that experts went inside to try to find it but got lost.

The lovely little town of Tinghir is full of beautiful views! Tourists are drawn to the city’s big buildings and palm trees, but it’s the natural beauty that really interests them. The most important place is Todra Gorges, which are made up of a line of red rocks and huge palm trees. For people who like to climb, tinghir is a full meal. A river that starts in the spring flows between these caves, which are about 300 meters apart. This place has a great vibe. Here, you’ll find a few small shops that sell leather goods like rugs and djellabas.

Trekking is one of the most popular things to do in these places. It is possible to walk along the Todgha River and see the Gorges du Todgha Pass, which is a huge tunnel. In the valley of Tinghir, there is a nature area full of palm trees that you should check out.

One of the most important towns in Morocco is in the southeast. It has been called the Ouallywood of Morocco, the Sahara Desert Gate, and Ouarzazate. The name was made up of two words at first. The first word is Ouar, which in Berber means “not”; the second word is Zazate, which means “noise.” The word itself sounds like a city or a place where there is no noise.

It is often called “Moroccan Hollywood,” and it has two big movie companies that you can visit: Atlas and CLA Cinema. These studios are quickly attracting big American movies. The low cost of living in Ouarzazate and the sun, which shines for about 300 days a year, are two reasons for its wealth. Not to mention the safety of the country and the happiness and kindness of the Moroccan people. Also, it’s clear that this is one of the strangest and most beautiful deserts in the world.

In addition to the studios, visitors can also see the Cinema Museum and the Taourirt Kasbah in the city itself. The museum, which opened in 2007, was made to protect Ouarzazate’s film history and bring more tourists to the city. The museum is open every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Skoura is an important stop on the way to Marrakech because it’s where you can start your journey into the desert of Erg Chebbi. Even though it’s not one of the most famous towns in Morocco, it has a lot of great things to see and do. There are beautiful buildings, nice streets, castles, and structures that are sure to amaze. The old castle Kasbah Amridil was built on red ground by Thami El Glaoui.

Erfoud and Rissani

They are the two desert towns you will pass through on your way to Merzouga in the Sahara Desert, whether you are coming from Marrakech or Casablanca. To begin, there is Erfoud, which is the place that is closest to the Merzouga desert. Fans of this city come from all over the world to see its annual fair, which is its main draw. Also, Erfoud is the main city in charge of the Ziz valley, which is Morocco’s biggest source of dates. In addition to times, Erfoud is an important place with a lot of fossils. The area around it is famous for fossil work.

Rissani, the center of Tafilalte, is a city, though. It is well known that this is where the Alaouite family, which currently rules Morocco, got their start. One of Morocco’s oldest traditional souks is in this city. This is where most people who live in the desert buy and sell goods. One odd thing about this city is that it has a special area just for horses. Anyone who is carrying goods by donkey should park in that area.

Atlas mountains

Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia are all in North Africa, and the Atlas Mountains run through all three. These hills are split into three groups: the High Atlas, the Anti Atlas, and the Middle Atlas. A lot of people call these ranges chains, but that’s not really right because there are places where the ranges meet and are called plateaus.

This 7-day tour starts in Casablanca and goes through the Middle Atlas. The city of Irfane is the main stop. Next, on your way back to Marrakech, you’ll go through the High Atlas mountains, not long after you pass Ait Benhaddou’s castle. The highest point in Morocco is Tizi Ntichka, a beautiful road that curves around the mountain. It is the only way to get to the southeast of the country from Marrakech.

Morocco’s “Little Switzerland,” Ifrane, is on the way from Fes to the Merzouga desert. In the Middle Atlas Mountains to be exact. Because of its location, it is the coldest city in Morocco, and a lot of Moroccans and people from other countries come to ski. Not only that, but Ifrane’s buildings are built in a very special way. In fact, it tastes like something from Europe.

Because of its unique and good weather, Ifrane is home to a number of important businesses. You could look at Al Akhawain University. It has a good level of education and lets people from all over the world attend. There is also Lmaamoura, a house where the national soccer team trains a lot. Ifrane is also home to the Atlas Lion Statue, which was made by a German prisoner and is one of Morocco’s most famous landmarks. You can find out where this figure came from by going back to when France ruled Morocco.

A lot of people were being held because France was building a military base in Ifrane at the time. One of these prisoners was from Germany, and the story goes that France offered to set him free if he did something strange and new. So, he carved the figure of the Atlas lion.

Ait Benhaddou, the most unique village in the 7 days tour from Casablanca

A defense-walled town on top of a hill, At-Ben-Haddou has been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Around the town is the river Ounila, and you have to cross a bridge to get to the settlement. Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, The Bible, Cleopatra, The Mummy, Gladiator, Alexander, and Game of Thrones are just some of the movies and TV shows that At-Ben-Haddou has been in.

Soap opera fans will also enjoy “The Clone,” which aired on Rede Globo from 2001 to 2002 and had scenes shot in At-Ben-Haddou, the Marrakech market, the cistern of the Portuguese city of El Jadida, and Fes’s ancient medina.

All of these places in Morocco have been named World Heritage Sites and are great places to see. Because it is part of the community, there are no fees to enter the Kasbah of At-Ben-Haddou. Basically, you’ll go up through an alley and over the whole town to the top, where you can see the whole area. You’ll see clay homes, shops, and a number of artists along the way.
