Ngiri Safaris & Scuba School is situated in the Dinokeng Game Reserve which is in the Gauteng province approximately an hour’s drive from the O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. Ngiri Safaris offers various types of accommodation such as luxurious chalets, wooden cabins and rustic tents of which all are ideal for self-catering except for the rustic tents. Ngiri Safaris offer guided game drives. Other activities found nearby include quad biking, boat cruises, fishing, microlight flights and hot air balloon rides.

Ngiri Safaris is owner run and managed in order to give our clients the best possible experience. We are situated in the Dinokeng Big 5 Game Reserve. Game viewing is conducted by vehicle. We also offer Clay Pigeon Shooting, Archery and Intro to Scuba as well as Scuba courses. We offer three privately situated luxury self-catering family chalets, each accommodating 2 adults and 2 children. The units consist of a large en-suite bedroom with an offset kitchenette to the one side. Each chalet also has its own barbecue facility. In addition, there are two wooden chalets on stilts sleeping two people each, with en-suite bathroom, kitchenette and own private barbecue area.For those not wanting the hassle of cooking for themselves, there are restaurants nearby serving great food, and for those feeling lucky the Carousel Casino is just 20 minutes away.The swimming pool has been built for diver training and is three metres deep, with an average summer temperature of 28 degrees, without heating. Ngiri Safaris also features an on-site compressor, as well as fifteen sets of scuba gear for hire. It is a perfect venue for dive schools and independent instructors to conduct their pool sessions, and Naui diving courses are available on site.

Safari: We offer safaris on Quads and Game Vehicle. Game viewing is are done in the Big 5 Game Reserve Dinokeng. The quads are done outside of the reserve. Clay Pigeon Shooting, Archery, Scuba, Intro Scuba

• Game Viewing

Game Drives are conducted in an open game viewer by a qualified and experienced FGASA guide. Numerous species of game can be seen from the comfort of our game viewer in the Dinokeng Game Reserve. Our game viewer can accommodate 10 passengers. The best time for game viewing is either early morning or late afternoon. Since it’s cooler at these times, the animals are more active!

This entertaining activity is both exciting and relaxing all at once! Book your session and shoot our recurve bows into the supplied archery butt and enjoy the thrill of hitting the target Archery is an ancient sport. Therefore it stands to reason that it’s stuck around for good reason! Feel history come to life in the palm of your hands!
