Plane was late and they forced us to take the stairs (no elevator available) to catch the bus to the plane. My wife was carrying a baby and fell. Terrible experience and terrible air line. Constantly late and conditions seem to be getting worse every time I have to use them.

Flight to Lisbon from DC was great. Was surprised to get dinner in middle of night. Hardy breakfast may have been better. No real complaints. Snack in morning was good and real coffee was a real benefit

If you miss any flight in a Multi-City flight plan with TAP, all remaining flights will be automatically terminated immediately. Their support line is no help at all, and you'll be stuck paying again for another flight.

As far as I could tell, there was no food service(!) on this flight. Like the attendants were on strike? No entertainment or wifi. Like, I didn't even know where we were unless I looked out the window and tried to recognize landmarks. Never had such a flight. I think you would have had to pay for water but they never offered that service.

Our flight was delayed an hour and take-off was also delayed. Then our luggage was misplaced upon arrival causing a lot of stress snd more delays. We arrived at the hotel almost 5 hours later than anticipated and had to cancel our plans for the day. Overall a very bad experience. We will not travel with Portugalia in the future.

The flight was delayed for over 1 hour. The boarding process is appalling making you wait for 30 minutes in the passage leading to the outside door without any seats.

It was fine. Communication was great as we were delayed

We arrived at the airport by taxi so as to be there two hours ahead of take-off. On arrival I received a message stating that the flight would be 85 minutes later than planned. An hour later another message stated that it would be a further 20 minutes late. There was no mention of the almost 2 hour delay once we boarded. Needless to say, they didn’t trumpet their “arrive-on-time” signal. At least we got there eventually.

The flight departed and arrived on time. A member of the staff at the gate was awful. She asked me to get the duty free purchases out of the hand luggage to see if it would fit inside their box, which it did. It was the embarrassment in front of the other passengers and the hassle of getting my stuff out of the bag and back in again that was totally unnecessary. They try to squeeze every single euro they can get out of their passengers. The seats were uncomfortable with little space in between them. The flight was quite noisy with lots of announcements trying to sell food, drinks, gifts and souvenirs etc.

Cardiff is a great airport but they pen you in at a gate way too small for passenger numbers. Called to the gate too soon and air conditioning was not in operation despite the heat. Cardiff should do better as a small relatively quiet regional airport.

American Airlines is the worst airline to fly. you can’t get on an earlier flight if you don’t have ‘status’, they cancel their flights with no warning, and they lie about why their flights are delayed so they don’t have to pay for meals or hotels. They lost me as a customer after this trip. I’ll be flying Delta or Untied from now on.

Due to a cyber attack at the SeaTac airport ALL of the airport computers at the airport were down. This seriously impacted every airline at the airport and the resulted in our flight leaving a hour later than scheduled. This delay caused us to miss our connecting flight from Heathrow to Edinburgh. I was amazed to have British Airways staff meet us at the gate as we left our flight. They quickly provided us with new boarding passes for a flight going to Edinburgh later the same day. Problems sometimes happen but they handled the situation in first class style.

They canceleld the flight and i found out only hours before the flight

We were on the plane for more than 5 hours with seats that don’t recline. Delayed for more than 1 hour and flight crew did not even serve water. Then on flight they don’t offer food unless you purchase it. Very poor experience.

The checkin experience was terrible. Once we got to the counter, it took them 40 minutes to check us in. Nothing complicated. Just 6 boarding passes and two checked bags.

Flight crowded - no leg room. Made me put tote bag under seat in front of me so no room for feet. Attendant helped me and put it up. Crew fine. Also British Airways changed our flights without notifying us resulting in a lot of confusion getting through Heathrow - our boarding passes wouldn't scan and we had no idea why. Ended up missing our flight and having to reschedule hours later after a flight from San Francisco. I have the app from BA and never received any notification. Very confusing and staff at Heathrow had no idea what problem was and only one person could resolve and huge line as several canceled flights. What a pain!

Worse experience with an airline in general. They failed in providing boarding passes at the beginning of my flight, requiring a trip to our local airport to correct. Most flights were delayed & one plane had to be replaced due to mechanical problems. Then they forced me to check a carryon bag that I couldn’t pick up in time due to a delayed flight. I had to choose between catching my flight or picking up a bag. And then trying to make a baggage claim online was impossible! A comedy of errors, but it was anything but funny. I would rather take a cruise liner than fly on British Airways again!

The flight was cancelled on the day of departure (do not know if it was my connecting flight from Geneva on British Airways, or the flight from London to Boston, as no explanation was provided). I was rerouted through Paris on Air France, and then the flight from Paris to Boston on Air France was cancelled due to aircraft problems. Terrible travel experience so far. Current routing takes me to Detroit on Air France, then to Boston on Delta. May never see my checked luggage again. We will see.

To be honest I did not like anything. Communication to why my flight was cancelled mid air 2 and half hours into my flight. Customer service desk were not helpful with providing information or a solution on what can be done.

I have been treated unacceptably by WizzAir aircraft crew in a previous flight, they threatened me and abused me, and I received an OFFICIAL written apology, but only two (2) months later. This flight had no such unacceptable behaviour, but it's not nice to be left waiting in the walkway (from gate to aircraft) for a long time, just so that the 'boarding' appears to be early, even if actual departure is not.

Today you’ll explore the quaint town of Lamego, filled with terra-cotta rooftops, tree-lined streets, and a 700-step staircase that leads to the grand Santuário de Nossa Senhora dos Remédios. Your tour begins at the church. Then, you can descend all 700 steps and admire the surrounding gardens filled with monuments, terraces, fountains, and pretty tile mosaics. You’ll also visit the Lamego Museum, which houses a collection of works by Portuguese painter Grão Vasco. Enjoy lunch on board and an afternoon at leisure, during which you’ll cruise to Pinhão. Early this evening, head to another quinta to sample more fantastic regional wines in yet another breathtaking Douro setting. After, experience the tradition of Portuguese fado music as you enjoy a live performance.

Discover Salamanca’s Old City, then head to Madrid

Discover the magic of Salamanca on a coach and walking tour. Then, explore its UNESCO-listed Old City and see the town’s grand cathedral and baroque Plaza Mayor, where you can seek out  churros and do some shopping and independent wandering along the town's main street. Lunch (typically tapas ) will be on your own. We’ll depart for Madrid after lunch; practice your pronunciation during the drive with a Spanish language lesson and an introduction to Spain. We'll reach Madrid and check into our centrally-located hotel close to many restaurants, the Royal Palace, and the famous El Corte Inglés shopping mall (just across the street). Tonight, regroup for a Farewell Dinner at the hotel.
