Holy Eyesight, See That Viral Moment Taylor Swift Recognized A Fan Who Came To Multiple Eras Tour Shows

T aylor Swift has many talents. Aside from being a Grammy-winning singer/songwriter, an incredible stage performer and a music video director, she also apparently has an unbelievable memory and great eyesight. The “Fortnight” singer recently acknowledged a fan in the crowd at one of her record-breaking Eras Tour shows, recognizing her from previous concert visits. How she was able to spot a single person amongst thousands is still beyond me.

In a recent video posted on TikTok, a fan shared a moment during Taylor Swift’s “All Too Well” performance, where the singer asked a fan in the crowd if she knew them. The show attendee responded that she had attended her previous show, and Swift recognized her just from that. Considering the immense amount of Eras Tour shows, as well as the insane number of fans she has, recognizing frequent concert goers is definitely a skill. It also goes to show that Swift is always paying attention, even when you think she’s not. Check out the video:

The singer's seemingly sharp eyesight is praiseworthy, but it’s even more impressive when you consider that she used to wear glasses. She ended up having Lasik surgery to correct her eyesight, as revealed on The Tonight Show in 2019. The surgery resulted in a hilarious video of the entertainer acting silly after the procedure, which has since gone viral. It seems to have been all worth it, because the results are immeasurable. Seriously, the pop star is able to see better than most people that naturally possess 20/20 vision.

You also have to take into account the amount of moving parts in the Eras Tour. Taylor Swift is singing 46 songs with different choreography and sometimes plays an instrument simultaneously. It’s a three-and-a-half hour show filled with big dance numbers, costume changes for every era , sets, props and wordy lyrics from her vast discography. The fact that she's even able to register what's happening in front of her and the different faces she sees in the crowd is honestly unbelievable.

I think her having the time to acknowledge boyfriend Travis Kelce in the audience is a feat, but recognizing fans from previous shows in the crowd? She may actually be superhuman.

The eyesight and memory factor of this fan interaction are surprising, but Ms. Swift’s ability to connect with her fans and acknowledge one’s dedication is something we’ve seen before. She used to invite superfans to her home and allow them to listen to her albums before they're released, and she is always interacting with fans on TikTok , especially those who post videos from the Eras Tour. This is above and beyond what most of her counterparts are doing, and even this brief Swiftie interaction in which she acknowledged that she’d seen the person showing support before probably meant the world to the fan.

You can see other moments from the aforementioned worldwide stadium tour by watching the concert film, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour , which is now streamable with a Disney+ subscription . Fans of the “Karma” singer should also read up on Swift’s upcoming music and other things for Swifties to look forward to, to learn what else the music icon has coming down the pike.

Taylor Swift Has Explained Why She Did Not Publicly Comment On The Canceled Vienna Shows Until She’d Safely Completed The European Leg Of Her Eras Tour

After her silence came under scrutiny, Taylor explained why she did not comment on the canceled concerts earlier.

Earlier this month, three Taylor Swift concerts scheduled to take place in Vienna, Austria, were canceled following a thwarted terrorist attack.

The three shows were due to kick off at the Ernst-Happel-Stadion on Thursday, Aug. 8, but on the evening of Aug. 7, two people were arrested on suspicion of planning a terrorist attack at the concert.

A statement from the organizers read at the time: “Due to confirmation by government officials of a planned terrorist attack at the Ernst-Happel-Stadion, we have no choice but to cancel the three planned shows for everyone's safety. All tickets will be automatically refunded within the next 10 working days."

A third person was arrested in connection with the planned attack on Aug. 9, and according to police, one of the suspects confessed to intending to “kill as many people as possible.”

In addition to the estimated 65,000 Swifties who were due to attend each of Taylor’s shows, about 20,000 to 35,000 non-ticket holders were expected to gather outside the stadium each night.

After the concerts were canceled, fans gathered across the city to sing Taylor’s songs and swap friendship bracelets, with Austria’s chancellor, Karl Nehammer, directly addressing the disappointed fans over the government’s decision.

Crowd of people gathers on a city street, smiling and taking photos. Buildings and shops are visible in the background

“I understand very well that those who wanted to experience the concert live are very sad,” he said at the time. “Moms and dads are caring for their daughters and sons, who had been full of enthusiasm and excitement about this concert. But it’s also important that in such serious moments like now, safety inevitably has to come first.”

While fans have been refunded for their tickets, many have claimed that they only received 80% of the money they paid out back, with 20% apparently being kept as a “service fee.”

A vast amount of fans were also left out of pocket from non-refundable travel and accommodation arrangements that they’d made for the shows.

Through all of this, Taylor remained silent. One week later, she took to the stage in London, England, where she concluded the European leg of her record-breaking tour with five consecutive nights at Wembley Stadium.

Taylor’s silence was upsetting for some Vienna Swifties, and the star faced scrutiny for not commenting on the canceled shows.

But on Wednesday, the star broke her silence in an Instagram post . In it, she admitted to feeling “a tremendous amount of guilt” over Vienna, and explained that she didn’t want to comment until the European leg had been completed safely.

Taylor spoke out as she shared a selection of photos from her Wembley concerts while reflecting on the European dates as a whole.

“We have officially wrapped the European leg of The Eras Tour,” she began. “With it came the most passionate crowds I’ve ever played for, new traditions in the show, and an entirely new era added in.”

“It was a more hectic pace than we’d done before, and I’m so proud of my crew/fellow performers for being able to physically perform that show and build our massive stage, take it apart, and make magic with so few days in between for recovery and travel,” Taylor went on. “They’re the most impressive people I know and I’m so lucky they gave The Eras Tour their time, their energy, and their expertise.”

The star then added: “Walking onstage in London was a rollercoaster of emotions. Having our Vienna shows cancelled was devastating. The reason for the cancellations filled me with a new sense of fear, and a tremendous amount of guilt because so many people had planned on coming to those shows. But I was also so grateful to the authorities because thanks to them, we were grieving concerts and not lives.”

“I was heartened by the love and unity I saw in the fans who banded together. I decided that all of my energy had to go toward helping to protect the nearly half a million people I had coming to see the shows in London,” Taylor explained. “My team and I worked hand in hand with stadium staff and British authorities every day in pursuit of that goal, and I want to thank them for everything they did for us.”

“Let me be very clear: I am not going to speak about something publicly if I think doing so might provoke those who would want to harm the fans who come to my shows,” Taylor then stated. “In cases like this one, ‘silence’ is actually showing restraint, and waiting to express yourself at a time when it’s right to.”

“My priority was finishing our European tour safely, and it is with great relief that I can say we did that,” she continued. “And then London felt like a beautiful dream sequence. All five crowds at Wembley Stadium were bursting with passion, joy, and exuberance. The energy in that stadium was like the most giant bear hug from 92,000 people each night, and it brought me back to a place of carefree calm up there.”

Taylor went on to shout out Ed Sheeran, Florence Welch, and Jack Antonoff for joining her on stage for surprise performances in London, and concluded the post with: “To the fans who have seen us this summer, you’ll always have the most sparkling place in my memories. You were a dream to perform for, dance with, and share those magical moments with.”

Referencing the next stop on her tour, which will be in Miami, Florida, in October, she added: “We’ll see you all again when we resume The Eras Tour in October, but for now we get to take a much needed rest. Thank you for the adventure of a lifetime. May it continue…”

News of the foiled terrorist plot came just over one week after Taylor had issued an emotional statement after three children aged 6, 7, and 9 years old were killed at a yoga and dance workshop inspired by her music in Southport, England.

Two adults and six more children were critically injured in the attack.

The day after the attack, Taylor wrote on her Instagram story: “The horror of yesterday’s attack in Southport is washing over me continuously and I’m just completely in shock… The loss of life and innocence, and the horrendous trauma inflicted on everyone who was there, the families, and first responders.”

“These were just little kids at a dance class,” she went on. “I am at a complete loss for how to ever convey my sympathies to these families.”

And in November, 23-year-old Swiftie Ana Clara Benevides Machado tragically died while attending the star’s Eras Tour in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Her cause of death is believed to be connected to the dangerous heatwave that was impacting Brazil during the show.

Taylor wrote on Instagram at the time: “I can't believe I'm writing these words. but it is with a shattered heart that I say we lost a fan earlier tonight before my show. I can't even tell you how devastated I am by this. There's very little information I have other than the fact that she was incredibly beautiful and far too young.”

“I’m not going to be able to speak about this from stage because I feel overwhelmed by grief when I even try to talk about it," she went on. "I want to say now that I feel this loss deeply and my heart goes out to her family and friends. This is the last thing I ever thought would happen when we decided to bring this tour to Brazil."

Ana had flown to Rio from her small district of Sonora especially for Taylor’s concert, and after her heartbroken mom broke down in tears over the fact that the family couldn’t afford to fly her daughter’s body home, Swifties took it upon themselves to crowdfund the money that was needed.

Taylor Swift praised Charli XCX in a new interview. Here's everything you need to know about their rumored feud.

  • Taylor Swift recently praised Charli XCX in a new interview with New York Magazine.
  • Rumors of a rift between the women were sparked this summer by Charli's song "Sympathy is a Knife."
  • Swift and Charli have a decadelong history as friends, tourmates, and pop-star adversaries.

Insider Today

Taylor Swift reignited stan-war discourse this week by contributing to a New York Magazine cover story about Charli XCX, her previous tourmate and current contender on the pop charts.

"I've been blown away by Charli's melodic sensibilities since I first heard 'Stay Away' in 2011," Swift told the magazine . "Her writing is surreal and inventive, always. She just takes a song to places you wouldn't expect it to go, and she's been doing it consistently for over a decade. I love to see hard work like that pay off."

Swift's praise surprised some of Charli's fans, who've been circulating rumors of a feud between the two musicians since the early-summer release of "Brat," Charli's sixth studio album.

The album's third track, " Sympathy is a Knife ," explores a complicated relationship with a fellow woman in the music industry, who triggers Charli's fears of inadequacy. In " Girl, so confusing " — another fan-favorite on "Brat," whose confirmed muse is Lorde — Charli admits this competitive relationship is largely one-sided, perhaps even imaginary.

"This one girl taps my insecurities / Don't know if it's real or if I'm spiraling," Charli sings in "Sympathy," adding that her fiancé, The 1975 drummer George Daniel, chalks it up to paranoia.

Many fans theorized that "Sympathy" was written about Swift , most likely during her short-lived relationship with Daniel's bandmate Matty Healy .

"Don't wanna see her backstage at my boyfriend's show / Fingers crossed behind my back, I hope they break up quick," Charli sings.

She's also close friends with Healy's current fiancée, Gabbriette Bechtel , and gives her a shout-out in the album's opening track " 360 ," essentially eliminating Bechtel as a "Sympathy" suspect.

Despite the speculation, Charli has made it clear that neither "Girl, so confusing" nor "Sympathy is a Knife" are diss tracks.

"They're really just about how it's so complicated being an artist, especially a female artist, where you are pitted against your peers but also expected to be best friends with every single person constantly," she said in a since-deleted TikTok.

Charli reiterated this position during her interview with New York Magazine, declining to answer direct questions about Swift.

Related stories

"People are gonna think what they want to think," she told the reporter. "That song is about me and my feelings and my anxiety and the way my brain creates narratives and stories in my head when I feel insecure and how I don't want to be in those situations physically when I feel self-doubt."

However, upon the release of "Brat," Charli's fans were still determined to defend her honor against perceived threats.

Taylor Nation, the social media arm of Swift's PR team, seemed to fuel the feud rumors by announcing six deluxe versions of her latest album, " The Tortured Poets Department ," the same week that "Brat" was released. These variants were UK exclusives, only available to buy in Charli's home country.

#TSTheErasTour in the UK means #TSTTPD Standard Digital Albums + Bonus Tracks (Live from Paris) and First Draft Phone Memos are available on the UK Store until 11:59pm BST! 🤍 UK only. https://t.co/DG0IewhXxK pic.twitter.com/Qhpwafmjeb — Taylor Nation (@taylornation13) June 13, 2024

The fresh boost of digital downloads pushed "The Tortured Poets Department" back to No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart for a sixth week, while "Brat" debuted at No. 2 . As a result, Charli's fans accused Swift of blocking "Brat" from the top position on purpose.

Meanwhile, in the US, "Brat" debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, lagging far behind Swift's streaming numbers. By comparison, "The Tortured Poets Department" has logged 15 weeks at No. 1 in the US and counting.

But despite Charli's lower chart performance, "Brat" has dominated pop culture this summer with rave reviews, star-studded remixes (including "Girl, so confusing" with Lorde herself), and a cosign from Kamala Harris' presidential campaign .

Charli has indicated that "Brat Summer" is far from over, even teasing an updated version of "Sympathy is a Knife" in her New York Magazine profile, which she said she wrote "three or four weeks ago."

Could Swift and Charli work it out on the remix , as Charli did with Lorde? Here's everything you need to know about their history.

Swift brought Charli onstage in 2015 and recruited her as a tour opener in 2017

To Charli's earlier point, she has found herself pitted against Swift since at least 2014, when both women released new albums: "Sucker" and "1989," respectively.

In reviews and media coverage of her major-label debut, Charli was framed as "taking shots at pop's elite," aiming to "join the ranks of Taylor Swift, Lorde, and Iggy Azalea," who were in the genre's upper echelon (at the time). Both her artistry and sales figures were compared to Swift's , with NPR noting that "Sucker" faced a commercial disadvantage by arriving in the wake of a "massive Taylor Swift album." (Sound familiar?)

The following year, Charli performed a cover of Swift's hit song "Shake It Off" for BBC Radio's Live Lounge. Just a few months later, the two women squashed any lingering hints of tension when Charli made a surprise cameo during the 1989 World Tour.

Even though Charli had recently canceled her own tour dates, she joined Swift onstage in Toronto for a duet of "Boom Clap," Charli's biggest solo hit to date . Swift also shared a video of their performance on X (formerly Twitter), writing, "I LOVE YOU @charli_xcx !!!"

In 2018, Swift upped the anti by recruiting Charli (and Camila Cabello) as openers for the Reputation Stadium Tour.

"I can't wait to see you, can't wait to see them, really excited just about the whole thing in general," Swift told fans in a filmed announcement .

Throughout the tour's global run, Charli and Cabello would often join Swift onstage to perform "Shake It Off."

During an appearance on the British talk show "Sunday Brunch," Charli gushed about Swift as a kind person and "incredible businesswoman."

"She makes us feel, like, so welcome. It feels like a girl gang on tour together. It's really good," Charli said.

Charli angered Swifties by comparing the 'Reputation' tour attendees to children

In 2019, one year after the Reputation Stadium Tour wrapped up, Charli reflected on the experience during an interview with Pitchfork .

"I'm really grateful that [Taylor] asked me on that tour," Charli told the website. "But as an artist, it kind of felt like I was getting up onstage and waving to 5-year-olds."

The comment was widely interpreted as Charli throwing shade at Swift and her fan base, prompting Charli to reiterate her gratitude in a statement shared on social media.

just to clarify 💕💕 pic.twitter.com/KpNQQx9SK0 — Charli (@charli_xcx) August 6, 2019

"In the printed version of this much wider conversation, my answers about this tour were boiled down into one kind of weird sentence," Charli wrote. "Leading up to that tour I'd been playing a tonne of 18+ club shows and so to be onstage in front of all ages was new to me and made me approach my performances with a whole new kind of energy."

Charli also said it was "brilliant" and "fun" to perform for Swift's audience, adding, "There is absolutely no shade and only love here."

Since the release of 'Brat,' Charli has condemned fans who start anti-Swift chants at her concerts

According to Billboard, "Brat" achieved the biggest debut week of Charli's career, though some fans were still disappointed when it succumbed to "Poets" on the charts.

When Charli hit the road for a string of "Brat" concerts and DJ sets, she was met with a wave of anti-Swift energy, including the chant "Taylor is dead" from a crowd at Club Zig in Sao Paolo, Brazil.

After videos of the chant circulated on social media, Charli told her fans to stop immediately.

"can the people who do this please stop. online or at my shows," she shared on her Instagram story on June 23, per Billboard . "it is the opposite of what i want and it disturbs me that anyone would think there is room for this in this community. i will not tolerate it."

C.I.A. Warning Helped Thwart ISIS Attack at Taylor Swift Concert in Vienna

The agency provided information about several suspects that led to arrests, the deputy director said.

By Julian E. Barnes

Reporting from Washington

The C.I.A. provided intelligence to Austrian authorities that allowed them to disrupt a plot that could have killed thousands of people at a Taylor Swift concert in Vienna this month , the agency’s deputy director said on Wednesday.

David S. Cohen, the deputy director of the C.I.A., said the agency had provided information about four people connected to the Islamic State who were planning an attack. Some of the individuals arrested were found with bomb-making material and had access to the concert venue, where several shows were scheduled to take place in the days after the arrests.

“They were plotting to kill a huge number, tens of thousands of people at this concert, I am sure many Americans,” Mr. Cohen said at the annual Intelligence Summit just outside Washington, D.C. “The Austrians were able to make those arrests because the agency and our partners in the intelligence community provided them information about what this ISIS-connected group was planning to do.”

On Aug. 7, Austrian authorities arrested two people accused of plotting a terror attack; others were arrested in subsequent days. Austrian officials said one of the men, a 19-year-old Austrian, had pledged allegiance to the Islamic State and had focused on Ms. Swift’s tour as a target.

Mr. Cohen expressed no doubt that attacking the Eras Tour concert and killing a large number of concertgoers was the goal of the plot.

He did not say how the C.I.A. had learned about the planned attack. But intelligence agencies have previously alerted other countries about terrorist plots. Earlier this year, U.S. officials warned authorities in Iran and in Russia that the Islamic State’s Afghanistan-based affiliate, known as ISIS-Khorasan, intended to strike events — a memorial service in Iran and a concert in Moscow — though neither country was able to stop those attacks.

Ms. Swift had been planning to hold three concerts in Vienna beginning Aug. 8, and 200,000 people had been expected to attend. Last week, in a social media post, she thanked the authorities, saying that because of them, “we were grieving concerts and not lives.”

Mr. Cohen said counterterrorism warnings do not always get a lot of attention. But the action to stop the attack in Austria, which potentially saved hundreds of lives, he said, was different.

“I can tell you within my agency and others, there were people who thought that was a really good day for Langley,” he said, referring to the C.I.A. headquarters. “And not just for the Swifties in the workforce.”

Speaking at the same conference in 2021, Mr. Cohen said the challenge after the American withdrawal from Afghanistan would be to know whether the Islamic State or Al Qaeda would “have the capability to go to strike the homeland” before they could be detected.

He promised then that the C.I.A. would find ways to rebuild its intelligence on Afghanistan, suggesting that the efforts could include “over the horizon” collection by long-range drone and talking to informants in the country.

On Wednesday, Mr. Cohen acknowledged recent successes in thwarting Islamic State Khorasan but said it was harder to do now that the United States did not have a military presence in Afghanistan.

“We figure out how to execute our mission even when it is difficult,” he said.

Mr. Cohen said the C.I.A.’s ability to collect intelligence on threats from Afghanistan was not as strong as it was five years ago, but he said the agency and its partners were still able to “defend the homeland and unravel terrorist plotting.”

CIA says suspects in foiled plot to attack Taylor Swift shows aimed to kill 'tens of thousands'

Topic: Terrorism

The CIA's deputy director says the two suspects were "quite advanced" in planning and were plotting to kill "a huge number — tens of thousands".

The CIA shared crucial intelligence with Austrian authorities, who arrested the suspects a few days before the concerts.

The main suspect's lawyer has said the allegations were "overacting" and being used to push for greater surveillance powers in Austria.

The suspects in the foiled plot to attack Taylor Swift concerts in Vienna earlier this month sought to kill "tens of thousands" of fans before the CIA discovered intelligence that disrupted the planning and led to arrests, the agency's deputy director says.

The CIA notified Austrian authorities of the scheme, which allegedly included links to the Islamic State group.

The intelligence and subsequent arrests ultimately led to the cancellation of three sold-out Eras Tour shows , devastating fans who had travelled across the globe to see Swift in concert.

CIA deputy director David Cohen addressed the failed plot during the annual Intelligence and National Security Summit, held this week in Maryland.

"They were plotting to kill a huge number — tens of thousands of people at this concert, including I am sure many Americans — and were quite advanced in this," Mr Cohen said on Wednesday local time.

"The Austrians were able to make those arrests because the agency and our partners in the intelligence community provided them information about what this ISIS-connected group was planning to do."

Austrian officials said the main suspect, a 19-year-old Austrian man, was inspired by the Islamic State group.

He allegedly planned to attack outside the stadium, where upwards of 30,000 fans were expected to gather, with knives or homemade explosives. Another 65,000 fans were likely to be inside the venue.

Investigators discovered chemical substances and technical devices during a raid of the suspect's home.

Austria's interior minister, Gerhard Karner, previously said help from other intelligence agencies was needed because Austrian investigators, unlike some foreign services, can not legally monitor text messages.

The 19-year-old's lawyer has said the allegations were "overacting at its best", and contended Austrian authorities were "presenting this exaggeratedly" in order to get new surveillance powers.

a large crowd walks into wembley

Swift broke her silence about the cancellations last week after her London shows had concluded.

"Having our Vienna shows cancelled was devastating," she wrote in a statement posted to Instagram. "The reason for the cancellations filled me with a new sense of fear, and a tremendous amount of guilt because so many people had planned on coming to those shows."

She thanked authorities — "thanks to them, we were grieving concerts and not lives," she wrote — and said she waited to speak until the European leg of her Eras Tour concluded in order to prioritise safety.

"Let me be very clear: I am not going to speak about something publicly if I think doing so might provoke those who would want to harm the fans who come to my shows," she wrote.

Concert organiser Barracuda Music said it cancelled the three-night Vienna run that would have begun on August 8 because the arrests made in connection to the conspiracy were too close to showtime.

The main suspect and a 17-year-old were taken into custody on August 6, the day before the cancellations were announced. A third suspect, 18, was arrested on August 8. Their names have not been released in line with Austrian privacy rules.

The shows in London, the next stop after Vienna, came on the heels of a stabbing at a Swift-themed dance class that left three little girls dead in the UK .

In a statement issued after the Southport attack, Swift said she was "just completely in shock" and "at a complete loss for how to ever convey my sympathies to these families".

News outlets reported that Swift met with some of the survivors backstage in London.

The Vienna plot also drew comparisons to a 2017 attack by a suicide bomber at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England, that killed 22 people.

The bomb detonated at the end of Grande's concert as thousands of young fans were leaving, becoming the deadliest extremist attack in the United Kingdom in recent years.

Mr Cohen on Wednesday praised the CIA's work in preventing the planned violence, saying that other counterterrorism "successes" in foiling plots typically went unheralded.

"I can tell you within my agency, and I'm sure in others, there were people who thought that was a really good day for Langley," he said, referring to the CIA headquarters. "And not just the Swifties in my workforce."

The record-smashing tour is on hiatus until November.

Taylor Swift is, at long last, headed back on the road. Following this week’s monumental chart debut of Midnights , her tenth studio album, Swift announced the U.S. leg of her 2023 Eras tour on Tuesday morning (Nov. 1), confirming her first official tour in nearly five years following months of rumors.

“I wanted to tell you something that I’ve been so excited about for a really long time. I’ve been planning for ages and I finally get to tell you: I’m going back on tour,” Swift said on GMA . “The tour is called the Eras tour and it’s a journey through all of the musical eras of my career.”

This week, Midnights blasted in atop the Billboard 200 albums chart with 1.578 million equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending Oct. 27, according to Luminate — the biggest week for any album in nearly seven years. Meanwhile, Swift made history on the Hot 100 by becoming the first artist to claim the chart’s entire top 10 in a single frame, with “Anti-Hero” debuting at No. 1 to become her ninth career chart-topper.

Recent tour reviews

The show was absolutely amazing! Definitely worth every cent. I have been obsessed with Taylor ever since 2010, and this was only my 2nd show, and I was SO CLOSE! It was so admirable that the show went on, even though there was a THUNDER STORM. I loved the fact that she really appreciates us as much as we appreciate her, and I hope she knows that I will be there for her no matter what. There was a REALLY tall person, almost like a basketball player in front of me, which was a bit disappointing because I'm so short, but for some reason, he got replaced just before the show started, and I was so glad #sorrynotsorry I'm pretty sure the security did that. ANZ Stadium you did amazing, sweetie! Love you Taylor, and can't wait to see what you do next! <3 <3

This concert was AMAZING!!!! Okay, so even though we got rained on and were soaking wet and cold by the concert's half-way point- that aside... I had so so so much fun. Taylor is one of my idols and role models and it was so great to see her live. She is such a performer and not only was the music and atmosphere so contagiously happy, but the actual show and set design and technology that made it all happen was also amazing. From the lights, to the LED screens, to the blow up snakes, it was definitely the highlight of my week, and I would OF COURSE either go see her again or recommend it to my friends and family. Thank you Taylor and crew for an unforgettable night!!!!!!!

reputation Stadium tour Seattle, 9/10. It all started when Charli XCX started singing. She was pretty good. But she probably shouted “SEATTLE!” 10 times. But the reason why I gave the whole thing a 9/10 was because Camila was not there. She had dehydration. And Taylor didn’t make up for it. Then it was TAY TAY! She came on stage with a “bad girl effect.” Singing Ready for it, I did something bad, and Gorgeous. Then it was a mashup of Style, Love Story, and You Belong With me. Then she sang look what you made me do. A HUMONGOUS SNAKE. Came out. It was so cool! Then with a gold jacket/background came End Game and King Of My Heart. Then she flew to the B-Stage while singing delicate. When she got to the B-Stage, we were SOOO close!!! She sang Shake it off with Charli. And then she got a guitar. And I freaked out. She sang Dancing with our hands tied and the mystery song. The mystery song ended up being “Holy Ground”. Then she went to the OTHER B-Stage and sang Dress and Blank Space. Then she flew on a snake cage to the main stage while singing bad blood. Then she sang SHOULDVE SAID NO. FROM 2006! I was freaking out. Then she came out and showed everyone her vocal range with Don’t Blame Me. Then she went to the piano and sang Long Live and New Years Day together. Then came purple jacketed GetaWay Car. Then there was a fountain and a mansion background and she sang Call It What You Want. Then came the last song. We are never ever getting back together/This is why we can’t have nice things. She got soaking wet in the fountain. And there were FIREWORKS!!!! It was truly amazing. Recommend it so much.

Update: November 2, 2023

New dates added at BC Place in Vancouver!

Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Verified Fan Onsale is using registration to ensure more tickets get into the hands of fans who want to go to the shows, not buyers looking to resell them.

Only fans that receive an email confirming their access will be able to join the queue for this Verified Fan Onsale. Fans who are selected will receive additional instructions on Wednesday, November 8. All others will be put on a waitlist.

Tickets for these shows will be in high demand, therefore, a limited number of fans will get access to the Verified Fan Onsale while others will be placed on the waitlist as described below. Access to the Verified Fan Onsale does not guarantee tickets. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while currently-available inventory lasts.

Registration is open from Thursday, November 2 at 8:00 a.m. PT through Saturday, November 4 at 5:00 p.m. PT .

Key Dates to Know

Thursday, November 2 – Registration opens Saturday, November 4 @ 5:00 p.m. PT – Registration closes Wednesday, November 8 – Fans will receive confirmation if they will have access to the Verified Fan Onsale or if they have been placed on the waitlist.

Thursday, November 9 – Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Verified Fan Onsale (only fans that received an email confirming their access will be able to join the queue for this sale). All shows will be assigned specific on-sale windows, which will be communicated prior to the start of the sale.

How Will This Sale Work?

Ticketmaster is helping artists give their fans a better opportunity to purchase tickets by creating an extra line of defense against bots and professional resellers who are looking to sell tickets for profit. The process includes three steps:

Step 1: Registration

By registering for the Verified Fan Onsale, you are letting us know that you’re interested in purchasing tickets. From the registration page, you sign into or create your account, select your preferred show(s) and register your email and phone number. Once completed, you’ll automatically receive a confirmation email letting you know that we got your request. It’s quick, easy and free to sign up.

Step 2: Verification

Next, Ticketmaster vets each request by confirming it belongs to an individual — not a bot — and that it hasn’t been tied to irregular behaviors that could be a sign of a professional seller attempting to access the sale.

Step 3: Access Code or Waitlist

When demand exceeds availability, a limited number of registered Verified Fans will get access to the sale and others will be placed on a waitlist. You’ll receive an email on Wednesday, November 8 letting you know which group you’re in. If selected to get access to the sale, you’ll receive a unique access code and purchase link via text message the day prior to your Verified Fan Onsale.

While no system can guarantee that all fans will get tickets to the show(s) they’re interested in, the Verified Fan program works to significantly block bots and professional resellers from competing against fans for tickets during the sale.

Common Questions

How do i register.

  • To register, please visit: HERE
  • Sign in using your My Account or create an account if you don’t have one.
  • Tell us what show you’re interested in and submit your registration; we’ll keep you up to date with all the latest information.

We’ll send you a confirmation email to let you know your registration was successful and what you can expect next.

If I receive access to the Verified Fan sale, am I guaranteed tickets?

No. Access means you have an opportunity to join the Verified Fan sale but it is not a guarantee you’ll be able to purchase tickets. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis while currently-available inventory lasts.

If I received access to the Verified Fan sale, how do I purchase tickets?

  • At the specified time, click the link you were sent.
  • You’ll enter the Smart Queue. To keep your place in line, stay on the page and don’t refresh. Do not open more than one browser window.
  • Once it’s your turn, shop for tickets by using your unique access code. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis while currently-available inventory lasts and aren’t guaranteed. Each event has a strict four (4) ticket limit per customer.
  • Then checkout!

How many tickets can I buy with my code?

You can purchase up to 4 tickets for the one show indicated in the text you received.

When will the Waiting Room open?

The Waiting Room will open 30 minutes before the designated Verified Fan sale window begins. When the Verified Fan sale begins, fans in the Waiting Room are assigned a spot in line. Once you reach the end of the queue, you’ll have an opportunity to shop for tickets. Stay on the page and don’t refresh or you may lose your spot in line.

You must use the same Ticketmaster account that you registered with to join the Waiting Room.

How do I join the queue?

Sign in through the link that we texted to the phone number you provided during registration to access the queue.

What can I do to prepare?

If you’ve been selected to participate in the Verified Fan sale, we recommend that you prepare by signing into your Ticketmaster account before the Verified Fan sale to make sure your billing information is up to date. This will help speed up the checkout process after you’ve selected the tickets you want to buy.

My link isn’t working. What should I do?

If you registered and received access to shop for tickets through text or email from Ticketmaster, but the link’s not working, try checking these things first:

  • Make sure the event is on sale. Links are sent out before the event goes on sale but won’t work until the event is actually on sale.
  • You must be signed in with the same email address you used to register for the Verified Fan sale.

Will there be other ways to buy Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour tickets?

The only official way to get Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour tickets is through the Ticketmaster Verified Fan Onsale or through certain other limited tour-sponsored onsale opportunities for specific shows. Be on the lookout for information on these other opportunities where available.

I got an email saying I’m on the waitlist. What does that mean?

If you’re currently on the waitlist, stay tuned — you may still have an opportunity to shop for tickets.

When there are more fans than there are tickets, a limited number of fans will get access to join at the start of the Verified Fan sale and others will be placed on the waitlist.

More fans may get access to join the Verified Fan sale based on ticket availability. If you’re selected, you will receive a text with a link to join the Verified Fan sale. Please note, moving off the waitlist does not guarantee access to tickets. Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis while currently-available inventory lasts.

Can I register more than once to increase the likelihood that I am able to purchase tickets ?

Registering more than once for a specific event does not increase the likelihood that you are able to purchase tickets . If you want to change the event date you selected after you’ve registered, you can make those edits while the registration window is still open. We only keep the last registration you submitted.

I received a confirmation email after I registered, what does that mean?

The email is simply to inform you that we have received your registration and will be working to verify your account. It doesn’t guarantee that you will be selected for the Verified Fan sale access. A second email will be sent on Wednesday, November 8 letting you know if you will get access to the sale or if you’ve been placed on the waitlist. If selected, the day prior to your Verified Fan sale you’ll receive a text message with a unique access code and link to use.

I’m a real fan of this artist, and not a bot or reseller. Why didn’t I get access?

Selection is not a measure of how big a fan anybody is. Sometimes there simply aren’t enough tickets for everyone. When demand exceeds availability, a limited number of fans get access to the Verified Fan sale, and others must be placed on the waitlist. The number of fans who receive access depends on the number of tickets currently available — this is done to help create a less crowded ticket shopping experience for fans.

How will I know if I’ve been granted access to the Verified Fan sale after I’ve been placed on the waitlist?

If selected, you will receive a text with a unique access code and link to the ticket sale. In the event of any SMS/texting delivery issues, we’ll email your unique access code and link to the email address associated with your Ticketmaster account that you used to register. Access to the Verified Fan Onsale does not guarantee tickets. Tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis while currently-available inventory lasts. If you’re sent a unique access code and link you should join the Verified Fan sale as soon as possible for your opportunity to purchase tickets.
