Platinum Conference 2024

Platinum Conference 2024 WOW what an amazing week on board Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady. Fantastic training sessions at the start of the cruise showing us all of the amazing new tools we will have to elevate our businesses and catching up with our Key Trade Partners. Brilliant break-out sessions going into more detail on the tools that can help us. It was so good to catch up with so many colleagues and make new friends all whilst being thoroughly spoilt by Virgin Voyages. NJT really is one big family and one I am truly proud to be a part of. Amazing Platinum Conference

Just coming to the end of another amazing conference courtesy of Not Just Travel. As usual an enormous amount of work put in, so that we Travel Consultants can really enjoy our week, by a top drawer corporate team (thank you, thank you). Inspirational Platinum Conference

Just back from the fabulous Platinum Conference onboard Scarlet Lady and I've got to say what an all round fabulous experience it was. It was my 2nd experience on Virgin Voyages having done the Seminar at Sea a couple of months back and again we were looked after incredibly well by Jack and his team. The week was full of inspiration from our corporate team headed up by Paul and Steve and has left me looking forward to the exciting new developments and opportunities.

Brilliant week training

Brilliant week training. At the start, with no experience of the travel industry, I was worried and felt that a week wouldnt be enough to start selling. The week was well designed to give us all a great starting point and the confidence and courage to be able to make a sale. There is obviously a lot more to learn but i feel the support available will help me gain knowledge and that will build success.

Seminar at Sea

Since joining in December 23 I have received so much support. I have all of the marketing and coaching support I could possibly want to get my business going. I have just returned from our Seminar at Sea onboard Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady. We spent the week learning about how to power our cruise sales, as well as getting to know the Virgin Voyages. I've just returned home from Seminar at Sea III. A 5-day trip aboard Sky Princess to Norway and Denmark. The Seminars at Sea are a great way to experience not only the brand, but to get to know the NJT team better. To have focused training sessions from the dedicated team from NJT Head Office, where their passion and enthusiasm to share their knowledge makes a huge impression to encourage you to do well.

NJT Cruise Division - Seminar at Sea

I've just returned from a 5 night cruise onboard Sky Princess for my first taste of Seminar at Sea. The price of the cruise itself was heavily discounted (a perk of being in the cruise division) and the experience was invaluable! The hard work of the NJT team was evident in the fantastic seminar sessions that were run onboard. It provided a high quality opportunity to learn and get inspiration from fellow travel consultants. The trip was a perfect blend of work and play! An amazing concept and I cannot wait for the next one!!

Training second to none!!!

Having been a member of The Travel Franchise and now a Not Just Travel Consultant since 2015 I can only say how supported I have been through out my time with the Franchise. From the early days with training and the assigned to a mentor to help now, via a Business Development Manager, its non stop assistance and support. Finally, with the Cruise Division and this weeks Seminar at Sea this has really has shown how the Franchise goes over and above to look after and support each of its family members. I highly recommend this to anyone.

NJT Elite Experience Mauritius 2024

As an NJT franchisee, I was invited on the trip of a lifetime to Mauritius as part of my franchise package! This was one of the most amazing experiences of my life! We were hosted by one of our suppliers Beachcomber Tours who worked together with NJT to put this together for a group of around 30 of us! Paul hosted some sessions on the trip, giving us ways to help us improve and get the most out of our businesses! We also got to explore the beautiful island of Mauritius courtesy of Beachcomber! Amazing perks of the job and an experience I won’t forget thanks to the Travel Franchise!

6 weeks in, update

The support from my BDM has been amazing. My BDM is always on hand to help and answer any weird and wonderful questions I may have surrounding the business. The advise she gives me both with business and travel advice is always helpful and informative. I have found the access to the resources really helpful, specially the Facebook support groupgroups

I have recently returned from one of…

I have recently returned from one of the Elite Experience trips in Mauritius that was included as part of our franchise package. My husband initially joined back in November 2018, and then I did my training in March 2020 (just as covid hit and we went into lockdown). Neither of us came from a travel background, but we have been supported continuously through our time with Not Just Travel. What started as a part-time side hustle became a full-time business when I left my previous career in teaching in December 2022. All of the training and support given from the Business Development Managers has been amazing, targeting the areas we needed to work on. I know that I've got a team behind us to keep supporting us as we continue to grow our business.

Thanks Laura for your review - we are hugely proud of our business development managers who are experts in travel help people like you (new to travel) succeed but ultimately it's your business and we are glad that's it's growing.

Great training by NJT

Great training by NJT. Everyone was so lovely, felt like a big family. Lots of information to put into practice but also plenty of support to run alongside, you are allocated a personal BDM on completion. I would have enjoyed it even more face-to-face but understand the cost implications for people and new ways of working. Looking forward to the journey I've just embarked on!

Loving life as a travel agent

From starting in October 2016 with no previous experience in travel I have recently achieved the status of "Diamond" and with sales to date just short of £6 million. The Not Just Travel of today is unrecognisable of the one I joined back then as there has been so much investment into the company which in turn gives us more tools to help us grow our own personal businesses. Wow... our company retreat to Mauritius really was incredible! We can't wait for the next one! An Exhilarating Start to our Journey

We have both completed our Induction Training and whilst we are fit to explode...feel super charged and excited about putting all that training into action. The breadth and depth of what we covered in one week was impressive and the most comforting thing of all was that the core team of Dave, Ben, Emma and Duncan were so welcoming and supportive - clearly indicating that their support will continue as we progress on our journey. What a 3 years!!!

What a 3 years!!! We are nearly 3 years into our new Business with Not Just Travel (Travel Franchise) and wow what a time it has been. The Training and development we have recieved along with the expert guidance from the BDM's has supported our growth from only having 40 Facebook friends between us to having a Facebook following of nearly 3,000 people, winning the Money Back Challenge in 7 months and a business that turns over well over 1.5 million a year and earns us a lifestyle where we can do what we love from anywhere in the world. It is a great network to be part of socially as well with all the trips we get to go on where we learn and have fun at the same time. We have grown as individuals so much these past 3 years.

Fabulous Cruise Support

I just wanted to say that I am thoroughly enjoying my successful journey with the Travel Franchise at the moment. As a completely new arena for me, I have been made to feel welcome and even though I have been working part time, the success has been incredible all along. Now I have start promoting cruise holidays (one area that I knew nothing about) but the support from Gemma to push me forward has been exceptional. She has been supportive while very subtly pushing me to do things which have resulted in success. Great week of training I took away lots…

Great week of training I took away lots of information. I especially enjoyed the sales and social media parts done by Dave. Many golden nuggets given which Im laminating as we speak, very motivating. Plenty of help and patience given while learning systems and setting up with Emma and Juliet. Also cruise info with Duncan was very interesting he showed lots of enthusiasm in cruising.

The support from my BDM has been amazing. My BDM is always on hand to help and advise me both with business and travel advice. I have found the access to the resources really helpful, the webinars, Facebook support groups and daily emails are great. I have really enjoyed my experience so far with the Travel Franchise!

So glad to hear this! We love our BDMs (Business Development Managers) who are on call to help every consultant when they start and as they build their business. They have years of experience which means you don't have to have worked in travel when you join us. The Facebook support group is a gem too! You can pick up lots of tips! Good luck!

A lot to learn but great training and support.

I invested in an Elite Franchise in October 23 and decided to invest further in the Cruise Division a month later. There is an immense amount of information to absorb. My journey with Cruise and the Mastery training has been a challenge in terms of available time. However, Gemma Outram has been a great support and mentor offering her great deal of knowledge of the Cruise industry which has certainly made things more understandable.

Fantastic Support

Joined the Travel Franchise in February 2020. A month before the first UK lockdown due to the Global Pandemic. Timing is everything!! However as we navigated those difficult first 12 months the company were there to support us. As our business grows, we work hand in hand with a Partnership Manager who is there to help, support and drive us forward. The experience we have available to us is superb.

NJT Cruise Division - Seminar at Sea

I've just returned from a 5 night cruise onboard Sky Princess for my first taste of Seminar at Sea. The price of the cruise itself was heavily discounted (a perk of being in the cruise division) and the experience was invaluable! The hard work of the NJT team was evident in the fantastic seminar sessions that were run onboard. It provided a high quality opportunity to learn and get inspiration from fellow travel consultants. The trip was a perfect blend of work and play! An amazing concept and I cannot wait for the next one!!

Training second to none!!!

Having been a member of The Travel Franchise and now a Not Just Travel Consultant since 2015 I can only say how supported I have been through out my time with the Franchise. NJT Elite Experience Mauritius 2024

As an NJT franchisee, I was invited on the trip of a lifetime to Mauritius as part of my franchise package! This was one of the most amazing experiences of my life! We were hosted by one of our suppliers Beachcomber Tours who worked together with NJT to put this together for a group of around 30 of us! The support from my BDM has been amazing. My BDM is always on hand to help and answer any weird and wonderful questions I may have surrounding the business. I have recently returned from one of…

I have recently returned from one of the Elite Experience trips in Mauritius that was included as part of our franchise package. My husband initially joined back in November 2018, and then I did my training in March 2020 (just as covid hit and we went into lockdown). Neither of us came from a travel background, but we have been supported continuously through our time with Not Just Travel. What started as a part-time side hustle became a full-time business when I left my previous career in teaching in December 2022. All of the training and support given from the Business Development Managers has been amazing, targeting the areas we needed to work on. I know that I've got a team behind us to keep supporting us as we continue to grow our business.

Great training by NJT. Everyone was so lovely, felt like a big family. Lots of information to put into practice but also plenty of support to run alongside, you are allocated a personal BDM on completion. Outstanding Support

After waiting for the "right time" to start a travel business, I finally signed up in March after attending the Big Event in London where I met the founders and many guest speakers and franchisees. Due to Covid, the live training was replaced by virtual which worked very well and very convenient. I completed it this week and feel equipped to not just start my travel business but also develop as a business owner. Sophie, Dave, Ben and others delivered a comprehensive training programme and although a little mind-blowing at times, it was enjoyable and very interactive. Of course, it's impossible to know everything and the post-course support offered is second to none. A mentor is assigned right from the start to hand-hold through the initial stages and beyond and this is supplemented by regular and frequent contact via webinars and live meetings. Franchisees are actively encouraged to stay in contact with regular check in meetings. It is this support and availability of useful tools and guidance that makes The Travel Franchise/Not Just Travel stand out from the crowd.

What a week!

Fantastic training week!

Having a passion for the travel industry, I originally spoke to Paul 8 years ago and discussed the franchise back then. Fast forward 8 years later and I finally took the plunge to join and setup my own travel business with NJT. The training has been very helpful and the team at NJT have really been fantastic. What a great week!

You really have to take your hats off to all at coordinated and delivered the training this week. I can only imagine how difficult it is to keep us all engaged via online platforms and despite the odd sound issue, they have tackled it really well. Constantly checking we have learnt what was delivered, plenty of time for Q+A and everything was well paced. Amazing training and ongoing support

After over 30 years working in Investment Banking in the City of London I needed a change and had been looking at travel franchises for a few years due to my passion for all things travel. I looked at other franchises but once I had watched the discovery centre on The Travel Franchise website I was 100% sure this was the company i wanted to be part of. The Travel Franchise actually changed my life!

Chance to be the real me!

I am 2 years into my entrepreneurial journey and things have changed since day 1. An ever changing exciting industry with lots of challenges and huge rewards and full of incredibly passionate people, no two days are really the same. Travel Franchise leaves the rest standing

When thinking about entering the travel buisness, The travel Franchise was my choice. Since joining up I have had nothing but help and encouragement from NJT. There is no thank, you wheres your money, now your on your own.The back up and support from head office is fantastic and the training received while on holiday with them is fantastic. Donna, at The Travel Franchise and Not Just Travel, is a wonderful Business Development Manager! She brings everything the company stands for, and more, to our one to one meetings. Not Just Travel and its Travel Consultant training is incredible. There is just the right amount of regular contact, and they are always there when you have a question or get stuck with something. I wish I had joined years ago, but so pleased I took that leap of faith and now have a great future ahead with them. If you're thinking about joining, my recommendation is do it, and do it now! Excellent induction course

I had a brilliant week with Dave and Emma for our induction training last week (mid-April 2022). There's a lot to take it but there's buckets of support (and encouragement) and I left feeling confident that I was ready to launch! The Travel Franchise delivered an outstanding training programme. Emma and Dave kept us motivated and with plenty of breaks, all whilst being conducted remotely. Members of the HQ team stepped in every so often to do a presentation and so we could start to familiarise ourselves with them. Overall, I'm really pleased I joined as a franchisee and can't wait to officially get launched tomorrow!

Completed training on 22nd April. New to the travel industry, there was a lot of information packed into a short amount of time, but communicated in a great way. Easy to digest with a lot of useful tips. Our trainers were friendly and approachable and give you confidence to achieve your expectations. Thanks guys!

I recently did my training in March and the team at Not Just Travel (The Travel Franchise) couldn't have been more supportive or informative if they'd tried. Granted its a lot to take it but, if it wasn't you'd be asking questions? But, the team do their upmost to help everyone and they really do give you all the tools you need to go forward. New to the Travel Industry

Completed the training week ending 25th March. Thanks to Ben/Emma/Dave and team, its intense and a lot of knowledge to take in, as any introduction to a new industry would be. Struggled with some fundamentals at the beginning, but was given the support i needed to get on with the process with some one on one time tutoring, which was simple to request and book. Am looking forward to booking my first holiday.

Wish I joined sooner.

I cannot recommend the Travel Franchise enough, the training and support is second to none. I have chosen to wait before posting this review as I wanted to make sure the support continued and I have not been disappointed. I am now 3 months into starting my own business with Not Just Travel and I have no regrets apart from wishing I joined sooner. Nothing is too much trouble with 7 day support from my partnership manager, they go out of their way to help my business succeed. 5* from me.

Not Just Travel- Training

I’m just about to complete training for Not Just Travel. The experience has been really informative, lighthearted in places and very well structured. I would recommend this to anyone looking to get into a franchise business that is not just affordable in comparison to many others but also offering the best experiences one can to a client base. I’ve also met and spoken to both cofounders of the business. It’s not often you get that in my experience, I truly wonderful start.

A really informative week

A really informative week. All the trainers were really knowledgeable and positive. The training was really intensive and there was a lot to take in at times and my brain felt just a little fried by the end of the week, but overall I feel that I have learnt a lot about the travel industry.

very helpful

very helpful, nice and friendly. was made to feel comfortable enough to ask question and was given good feedback when i asked a question. i am excited to start, the only thing is i have a major issue as when isell was being taught i couldnt get into the system so i fell behind in the learning that session but i was told not to worry and that ill be given a one to one session with Ben. Asides everything else has been wonderful.

Due to pandemic...

Due to pandemic - given over internet. But very comprehensive. To be honest, this is just the start. Training and development is clearly ongoing. If you've never been involved in travel, it gives you a lot of information on systems and procedures. Which helps a lot. But it's really only just the start.

I have just completed my induction training week and I have to say for someone who's only experience of travel is going on amazing holidays, I was extremely impressed with the training I received. Well where do I start......took the…

Well where do I start......took the plunge and thoroughly enjoyed the course though I think I need another week fear has set in but I know the guys are there to support me on this adventure and I am sure when I have another look Monday things won't seem so daunting. So a big thank you for the in-depth training Ben Dave, Juliet, Duncan, Ed, Steve, Paula, Lauren & Becky if I have forgotten anyone oh yes Rachel and Col it was all very informative. The one thing I did feel even the guys who had been doing this for sometime were all still excited with what they do ! Business cards arrived this morning that was very quick so thank you Lauren. We were a good group all with different knowledge so thanks team for making it memorable and good luck to us all!

I have loved my week of training with a great bunch of people.
