John Fogerty and ZZ Top Kick Off ‘Blues and Bayous’ Tour: Set List
One of this year's most eagerly awaited package tours began last night (May 25) when ZZ Top and John Fogerty opened up their Blues and Bayous Tour at the Borgata Spa & Resort in Atlantic City, N.J.
Fogerty and his band performed 24 songs. Although the set list (see below) weighed heavily on his Creedence Clearwater Revival catalog, including classics like opener "Travelin' Band," "Who'll Stop the Rain" and "Fortunate Son," he found space to work in solo hits such as "Centerfield," "Rock and Roll Girls" and "The Old Man Down the Road." Fogerty also paid tribute to the music of the South through covers of Brad Paisley 's "Love and War," Hank Williams ' "Jambalaya (On the Bayou)," Rockin' Sidney's "My Toot Toot" and Gary U.S. Bonds' "New Orleans."
Midway through the set, Fogerty called out Billy Gibbons for the world premiere of "The Holy Grail," a new song written by Fogerty. The studio version of the track will be released on June 8 and the two issued a preview of it on May 24.
ZZ Top opened their 14-song set (also below) with "Got Me Under Pressure" and continued with crowd-pleasers like "Gimme All Your Lovin'," "Just Got Paid" and "Legs." They encored with "La Grange" and "Tush."
The tour continues tonight at the P.N.C. Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, N.J. They'll remain on the road through June 29, when the tour wraps up at the Treasure Island Resort & Casino in Welch. Minn. You can see all the dates here .

John Fogerty and George Thorogood announce new dates and kick off international tour
John Fogarty has added new dates to his upcoming tour, which will see George Thorogood take to the road with him as a support act.
The rock legends said they had discussed the idea of touring together for a long time, but finally decided to organize the shows for this summer.
The Celebration Tour kicked off on Sunday in South Carolina and will run all the way to September across the US and Europe.

Fogarty said: "George and I have done shows together before, but for years we’ve talked about doing a full tour together. This summer we decided time is short, we better do this now."
The tour marks the first time that Fogarty will perform Creedance Clearwater Revival songs on his own, having recently acquired the rights to them decades after the band broke up.
The frontman and founder of Creedance, Fogerty wrote a number of the band's iconic songs, such as Proud Mary and Have You Ever Seen the Rain.
Up until last year, the copyrights were the property of Saul Zaentz, the owner of Fantasy Records, who sold the label and its publishing portfolio to the former Concord Music Group in 1995. Creedance broke up in 1972.

Fogarty said: "I own my own songs again. This is something I thought would never be a possibility. I am looking forward to touring and celebrating and, I am excited for new ideas and a renewed interest in my music…like a revival,”
Fogarty will play nearly 40 shows in total and a few of them won't have Thorogood as part of the set. The tour will travel to North Carolina, New Jersey , Pennsylvania , Virginia, New York, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Massachusetts , Wisconsin, Ohio, Michigan, Tennessee, Missouri, Nebraska, Washington, Oregon, Colorado, California , and Utah.
There are also dates in Canada and at festivals in Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands and France.
