Taylor Swift

For the third and final night of Taylor Swift’s Chicago outing — which took over Soldier Field and the surrounding South Loop area — the superstar pulled out all the stops.

On her first night in the Windy City, Swift celebrated the start of Pride month by sharing a special, and urgent, message to the sold-out stadium. “I’m looking out tonight, I’m seeing so many incredible individuals who are living authentically and beautifully and this is a safe space for you,” Swift said “This is a celebratory space for you.”

“One of the things that makes me feel so prideful is getting to be with you, and watching you interact with each other, and being so loving, and so thoughtful, and so caring,” she continued, later adding, “I wish that every place was safe and beautiful for people in the LGBTQ community.”

For her second night, she welcomed country star Maren Morris to the stage for one of her surprise songs, the live debut of “You All Over Me,” a From The Vault track included on Fearless (Taylor’s Version) . Following the long-awaited moment, Morris posted a black and white photo of the pair on Instagram, writing: “We finally got to play ‘You All Over Me’ and I won’t ever be shutting up about it. Love you Taylor Swift and love you always, Chicago.”

As for the third night (Sunday, June 4), two opening acts the city had yet to see took to the stage: Gracie Abrams and MUNA (lead vocalist Katie Gavin, who is from the Chicago suburbs, noted the specialness of a hometown show). And while Swift’s set featured minor hiccups — from a mic malfunction to a surprise mid-set snack (the accidental swallowing of a bug) — Swift handled such moments with humor and grace, only making them that much more memorable. And proving that even a superstar like Swift, who can perform to tens of thousands of fans night after night, is also, somehow, still relatable.

Below are the seven best moments from her Chicago finale, of which Swift said: “When we have three in a row, there’s always a special reserve of energy we are saving for the third night… this is it.”

The Humorous Mishaps

While attempting to introduce The Eras Tour and herself — following songs including “Cruel Summer,” “You Need to Calm Down” and “The Man” — Swift soon realized her bedazzled mic was no longer working. “Helloo??” she mime screams into it. She then sticks her tongue out in agony while leaning back in playful despair, only to then bang her palm against it a few times for good measure. As soon as it’s replaced with a less glamorous, though functional, mic, she tells the crowd with a smile: “None of that happened.” But it wasn’t the only oops of the night, as later on Swift accidentally swallowed a bug, after which she joked, “Ooh, delicious … Is there any chance none of you saw that?”

A Tearful “Champagne Problems”

While in her evermore era, Swift speaks of her pandemic-induced creative flurry, during which she wrote, recorded and released both evermore and its predecessor folklore . When speaking of this pair of albums, she admits that she wasn’t sure how they would translate to the stage — because at the time live music seemed a distant memory. But, she says, “one song in particular I was so excited to perform live…” She then delivers the stunning and reflective “Champagne Problems” while seated at the piano. By the end she’s holding back tears as the applause only grows louder and louder, soon morphing into a “Taylor, Taylor!” chant. Swift allows it to continue, quenched by the comfort, before saying, “I love you guys so much… you’re so generous.”

An Enchanting Speak Now Moment

Though Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) is just about a month away from release, the album is only allotted one single song in the Eras setlist: the magical “Enchanted.” As the stage lights up magenta, Swift speak-singing, “Please don’t be in love with someone else,” can be heard offstage. Soon enough, she emerges in a puff of pink smoke wearing a bedazzled ball gown. As she delivers the pop ballad with commanding power and conviction, the stadium — and fans’ color-changing wristbands — light up in cotton candy colored hues, casting an as-of-yet unfamiliar calm across the open space.

The Passion For Her “Passion Project”

While giving the lowdown on her rerecording project — for which Swift is rerecording her first six albums in order to gain full ownership ––she explains in simple terms the thought behind the ambitious task: “The thing about this project is that I haven’t seen it done too many times before, so there weren’t a lot of examples for me to look at and see, you know, ‘Is this a good idea commercially?’ It wasn’t about that, it was a passion project. And a passion project is something that an artist will do regardless of whether it’s successful or not, because it just matters to them personally.” And as Swift then thanked her fans for embracing each Taylor’s Version release wholeheartedly — and even only acknowledging such versions going forward — the applause of support hit a new peak in volume. Until, that is, Swift introduced the next song: the devastatingly gorgeous (and impressively long) “All Too Well (10 Minute Version, Taylor’s Version, From The Vault).”

That Special Delivery of a Lyric From “The 1”

Most of the more shocking, humorous or enjoyable moments from The Eras Tour have by now been long circulating online — including one from folklore track “The 1.” During the song, for which Swift lies down on top of the moss-covered A-frame cabin, the line, “You meet some woman on the internet and take her home” has garnered special attention for her delivery of its latter half. Rather than singing it as heard on the album, Swift chops it up and draws it out — “and take. her. home ,” she sings, prompting “ow ows” and “woops” from the crowd.

Her Solo Unplugged One-Two Punch

For the evening’s anticipated surprise songs, Swift started with the live debut of “Hits Different” off the recently released Midnights (The Til Dawn Edition) extended album (which was previously only available on the Target exclusive version of Midnights ). “I don’t know if you’ll know this one, it’s kind of new… But we’ll seee….” teased Swift with a smile. She then performed the song on acoustic guitar standing solo at the edge of the stage. To no one’s surprise, fans knew every word. After, she sauntered over to a wooden piano painted with flowers and butterflies for her second surprise song: “The Moment I Knew” from Red .

Cross ‘em both off the list.

Her Unwavering Appreciation For Fans

Prior to the intimate, stripped down surprise songs, Swift praised those in the front rows who were performing for their lives, saying, “I’m making a lot of new friends tonight.” She then shared another message of gratitude for her devoted fans: “People ask me, ‘Are you tired at the end of the show?’ I’m like, ‘No, are they tired? You guys are head banging and thrashing and screeching. It’s so valiant and beautiful. It’s a noble thing to do… I salute you.”

Taylor Swift Taps Paramore for European Eras Tour Run

Taylor Swift knows we need more — so she’s giving us just that. The singer has added 14 more shows to the European/U.K. leg of her Eras Tour , and announced that Paramore will provide support throughout the trek.

“Really can’t contain my excitement because… we’re adding 14 new shows to The Eras Tour,” Swift wrote on Twitter Wednesday, July 5. “And I get to travel the world doing shows with @paramore !! Hayley and I have been friends since we were teens in Nashville and now we get to frolic around the UK/Europe next summer??? I’m screaming???”

Last month, Swift added dozens of shows to her Taylor Swift: The Eras stadium tour — bringing the total count of shows to a whooping 104 nights . She also extended her run at Los Angeles’ So-Fi Stadium with a sixth show scheduled for Aug. 7.

The new addition comes after the singer announced shows in Japan, Australia, Singapore, and Europe earlier this week. (See below for the full tour dates.)

“EXCUSE ME HI I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY 🙋‍♀️,” she wrote on Instagram. “I can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year at these new international dates!”

She also added more dates to her already-announced Latin America tour. After wrapping her U.S. dates in Los Angeles on Aug. 9, Swift will head to Mexico City for four straight shows at Foro Sol starting Aug. 24. She’ll then stop in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and both Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo in Brazil in November.

Swift first announced the tour last October after she completely took over the Billboard Hot 100 top 10 with Midnights . The added dates, which follow the addition of eight new shows last week, were slotted in “due to unprecedented demand,” according to the singer’s camp.

“Good Morning America, it’s Taylor,” Swift said during the announcement. “I wanted to tell you something that I’ve been so excited about for a really long time and I’ve been planning for ages, and I finally get to tell you I’m going back on tour. The tour is called the ‘Eras’ tour, and it’s a journey through all of my musical eras of my career.”

Sabrina Carpenter Gave Us the Song of the Summer. She’s Got a Plan for All Seasons

Taylor tourism: new data reveals singer's eras tour is driving interest in small towns and 'destination dupes', taylor swift debuts ‘carolina,’ ‘the manuscript’ live at liverpool show.

Across the tour, Swift is being supported in select cities by a combination of special guests including Paramore, beabadoobee, Phoebe Bridgers, girl in red, MUNA, HAIM, GAYLE, Gracie Abrams, and OWENN.

The Eras tour follows the cancelation of her planned 2020 Lover Fest tour, which was originally going to see her make stadium stops in Los Angeles, Boston, and New York, along with Brazil, Denmark, Norway, and Poland. “This is an unprecedented pandemic that has changed everyone’s plans and no one knows what the touring landscape is going to look like in the near future,” she wrote in 2021.

Swift last went the road in 2018 for her massive Reputation Stadium Tour , which saw Swift accompanied by the likes of Charli XCX and Camila Cabello across the United States, the United Kingdom, along with Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. The tour was the highest-grossing music tour by a female artist that year.

Since her last tour, Swift has released four albums and two re-releases: Lover , Folklore , Evermore , Midnights , and Taylor’s Version editions of Fearless and Red with additional songs. In total, she’s dropped 90 tracks of new material, not including collaborations with the likes of Haim and Big Red Machine.

Fans have long wondered what music she’ll be performing on the road, with some theorizing that she’d host a residency in Las Vegas or a music festival where she’d perform different “eras” on different nights.

Along with packing her setlist with songs from Reputation in 2018, she surprised each city with an acoustic rendition of fan favorites like “Red,” “Holy Ground,” and “Wildest Dreams.” At select shows, she also brought out special guests. Shawn Mendes, Selena Gomez, Hayley Kiyoko, and Maren Morris were among the artists to be brought out by Swift.

She previously took her 1989 album on the road for 85 dates, where she was accompanied by the likes of Mendes, James Bay, Vance Joy, and Haim. Before then was The Red Tour in 2013 and 2014, and her Speak Now World Tour from 2011 to 2012.

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour: All the U.S. and international dates and opening acts

chicago eras tour

Taylor Swift opened the Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona — which rebranded itself as "Swift Cit y" for the March 17 and 18 concerts — with a triumphant return to live performance as the first act in the history of that venue to sell out two nights on the same tour.

By that point, she'd already broken the all-time record for most concert tickets sold by an artist in a single day and passed Madonna's Sticky & Sweet Tour as the highest-grossing tour in history by a female artist.

And Swift rose to the occasion , leading her band through a marathon 44-song set that lasted more than three hours while delivering on her promise of "a journey through all of my musical eras."

So what does she do for an encore? Here's where the Eras Tour is headed next, adding two surprise songs to the set at each show. Here's a look at what she's played so far .

When introducing her "surprise song" of the night , "Death by a Thousand Cuts," Swift called Antonoff her "collaborator of dreams" and shared with the audience that he was in the crowd that night.

Before revealing the name of the song, Swift recalled another occasion she had played the tune, and how she'd wished Antonoff had been there to hear how loudly the crowd sang along to the bridge.

"We wrote this song together," she said. "And I really want him to hear you do it so I am really hoping that you know the words to this song — I'm going to take my chances"

Ellen Pompeo

Ellen Pompeo shared a glimpse into her experience at the Eras Tour in Las Vegas to her Instagram Story. In the video, her daughter Sienna May lip-synced to "Blank Space" dressed in a sparkly dress.

The concert was a full-circle moment for both parties as Swift famously named one of her cats Meredith Grey, after Pompeo's character on Grey's Anatomy , and Pompeo appeared in the starry video for Swift's single, "Bad Blood."

Shania Twain

It seems "Blank Space" is quite popular among the stars as Shania Twain also showed her love for the pop hit on her Instagram Stories.

The country legend was filmed dancing to the 2014 hit and summed up the video with "What a show!" after attending the concert in Vegas.

Emma Roberts

One fan was able to catch Emma Roberts appearing to have the time of her life in Vegas, dancing and singing to "Style" in a video shared to TikTok.

Marcus Mumford

Marcus Mumford , who is a longtime collaborator and friend of Swift's, joined her on stage in Las Vegas and performed "Cowboy Like Me" from her album Evermore . Though he has previously included the song in his own set lists, this was the first time Swift had performed the song live, Rolling Stone noted .

Jade Jolie — who was featured in the music video for Swift's "You Need to Calm Down" — went all out with a themed outfit which she posted to her Instagram .

The RuPaul's Drag Race alum is known to bear a strong resemblance to Swift — she's even tapped herself a "TSwift Illusionist" in her Instagram bio.

Khalen Saunders

For Khalen Saunders , the Eras Tour was a family affair. Not only was Saunders joined by his daughter and wife to experience Swift's show, his older brother, Kameron , is one of the tour's dancers!

"Just to think, my babies have seen their dad AND their Tete Goofy perform on a world stage! Excellent show last night @taylorswift you might really be the 🐐," he wrote on Instagram . "And to my big brother, continue to inspire. Myself, all those hopeful dancers, and the rest of the world needs people like you to look to when you need hope. Love you ❤️🤞🏾"

The international DJ also showed up for Swift's Saturday night show in Las Vegas, sharing a few glimpses of his experience to his Instagram Story. In one slide, he captioned the video, "I kinda know the lyrics," while moving along to "Anti-Hero."

Nathan Chen

The Gold-medalist figure skater stopped by Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to catch one of Swift's two shows in Sin City. Nathan Chen shared a carousel of videos to Instagram along with the cheeky caption: "Not not a Swiftie 🫡."

Laura Dern made sure to get in on the fun for the Eras Tour kickoff in Glendale, Arizona, with her family.

Dern, who starred as the evil stepmother in Swift's music video for "Bejeweled," shared on Instagram that she was en route to the show with her two kids, Ellery and Jaya .

"First time in five years. Taylor here we come," she captioned the fun photo, which showed the trio sporting cowboy hats.

Later, the Big Little Lies actress posted a few snaps of Swift's show from the crowd and even managed to snag a pic with the queen herself (above).

"Celebrating our amazing buddy's first show of tour," Dern wrote. "Extraordinary. Found family. #ErasTour "

Fan videos taken from inside the stadium revealed that Laura Dern and her kids were not the only special guests that Friday night.

The actress danced the night away with two of the Haim sisters — who also starred in the "Bejeweled" music video — and Emma Stone .

HAIM will serve as an opening act for Swift later in the tour.

In another video shared by a fan , Emma Stone took us back to that scene from Easy A as she was seen singing and dancing her heart out. The actress responded to "You Belong With Me" with as much excitement as you'd expect from any fan lucky enough to attend the Eras Tour — famous or not!

Former NFL player, JJ Watt , had nothing but "respect" for Swift after snagging a seat to the first night.

On March 19, Watt shared a video to Twitter about his experience, explaining that he attended the show with his wife Kealia and her friends.

"First off, unbelievable," he said. "The production, the set design, the video boards, the sound quality, the speakers — just you can tell when somebody does something at the top of their game and is trying to do the right way for their fans, and this is done the right way for people paying money to come and see her."

He later applauded the length of the set, touting that the performance went on for "3 hours and 15 minutes" and that the singer performed "44 songs" with "no intermission."

"When your fans pay for a ticket, they are getting their money's worth and some," he wrote alongside the video.

Danica Patrick

Danica Patrick caught the Eras Tour during Swift's first stop in Arizona and shared a glimpse on her experience to Instagram through photos and videos and called out the singer's impressive 44 song setlist.

"We were all so in the moment that we didn't take many pictures together and I didn't even take that many videos," Patrick wrote in part. " @taylorswift sang 44 songs and it was the most amazing concert I have ever seen. Swiftie for life. ❤️"

Samara Weaving

Samara Weaving also appeared to snag a seat to one of Swift's first tour dates in Glendale, Arizona, as she shared a glimpse into her night on her Instagram Stories — which were posted by a fan on Twitter.

In one clip shared to TikTok, Swift was seen performing her song "Mirrorball," which was the night's surprise song.

Taylor Swift says 'most wonderful' Eras Tour will end in December

CNNWire logo

Taylor Swift knows that all good things must come to an end - and that includes her Eras Tour.

In an emotional speech during the 100th show of her record-breaking tour on Thursday night, the megastar confirmed that her current musical voyage would come to an end this year.

"You know, this is actually the 100th show of the tour," she told her fans at the first of three back-to-back shows in Liverpool, England, prompting joyful screams from Swifties.

"That blows my mind. That doesn't feel like a real statistic to me because this has definitely been the most exhausting, all-encompassing, but most joyful, most rewarding, most wonderful thing that has ever happened in my life this forth. These moments with you," she said, as shown in a video circulating on social media.

Acknowledging that many in the audience might be wondering how she will mark the milestone, Swift said, "The celebration of the 100th show for me means this is the very first time I've ever acknowledged to myself and admitted that this tour is going to end in December."

"Like, that's it, and that feels like so far away from now, but then again it feels like we just played our first show on this tour because you have made this so much fun for us that we wanted to do 100 shows, 150-something shows that we have on the whole tour," she continued.

The Eras Tour, which began in Glendale, Arizona on March 18, 2023, has been extended several times since it was first announced. It has since passed through the United States, South America, Asia and Australia, and is currently on its European leg before it makes a return to North America.

It now appears there will be no additions to the current dates listed on her website, with the last one a show in Vancouver, Canada, on December 8.

"I think that this tour has really become my entire life," Swift said, adding that "it's taken over everything."

"Like, I think I once had hobbies but I don't know what they were anymore. 'Cause all I do when I'm not on stage is, like, sit at home and try to think of clever, like, acoustic song mashups and think about what you might want to hear. Just - so like, when I'm not on the stage, I'm dreaming about being back on the stage with you guys," she continued.

Swift thanked her fans for all the work they have put in to be at her show, including making plans "so far in advance," memorizing lyrics and figuring out transportation.

The Eras Tour has had a staggering impact on tourism, recently causing a spike in air travel across Europe.

United Airlines revealed in May that demand for flights to Milan and Munich, where Swift is set to perform in July, has soared, with upward of 45% more passengers compared with last year.

Her recent concerts at Edinburgh, Scotland, led to seismic activity being detected four miles from the stadium where the singer was performing, according to the British Geological Society.

The historic tour has also been accused of pushing up inflation and is predicted by British bank Barclays to boost spending by nearly $1 billion in the United Kingdom.

Sorry Swifties,  Taylor Swift  will not extend her record-breaking, behemoth  Eras Tour  to 2025.

"This is the very first time I’ve ever acknowledged to myself and admitted that this tour is going to end in December," the singer said sentimentally during her "All Too Well" speech before the 10-minute song.

"This tour has really become my entire life, it's taken over everything, like I think I once had hobbies," she joked in her bedazzled red and black jacket. "All I do when I'm not on stage is sit at home and try to think of clever acoustic song mashups and think about what you might want to hear."

Her acoustic section has become a fan-favorite, unique to every city. The singer began mashing up songs in 2024. Swift still has about  30 songs in her vast discography left to perform.

"You have done so much to be with us," she continued. "You've made plans so far in advance. You planned what you were going to wear. You memorized lyrics. You got yourself here. You figured out parking. You figured out transportation, and I want spend the 100th show just thinking about that and living in that moment and being here with you, and just know I appreciate every single ounce of effort that you put in to be with us when this show reaches triple digits in shows. So thank you!"

Taylor Swift's journey: Eras Tour 'spans 18 years of music'

In November 2022, Taylor Swift announced her magnum opus  on social media , "I’m enchanted to announce my next tour: Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour, a journey through the musical eras of my career (past and present!) The first leg of the tour will be in stadiums across the US, with international dates to be announced as soon as we can!"

The original post only showed 27 concerts over the course of a year. The demand quickly escalated that number to  66 shows for year one  and 86 for year two in 22 countries (U.S., Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Japan, Australia, Singapore, France, Sweden, Portugal, Spain, Scotland, England, Wales, Ireland, Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Poland, Austria and Canada).

With  album announcements , music video reveals, special guests appearances and a  whole new "Tortured Poets" set  unveiled in Paris, France, the tour has continued to evolve and impress. Swift has broken attendance records for many stadiums across the world and countries have welcomed the singer in innovative ways. A hidden language of Swift-ese has developed in the form of friendship bracelets, custom concert chants ("1, 2, 3 let's go b****" and "Where you going Taylor?") and unforgettable dance moves. Tens of thousands of fans log on to watch livestreams every concert night anticipating Swift's outfits and  custom mashups  of songs not included in the massive  46-song set list .

A year of the Eras Tour: A look back at Taylor Swift's record-breaking show

Swift's concert movie  bypassed production studios as the singer worked directly with AMC as a distributor bringing fans dancing and singing in the aisles. The movie is available to  watch on Disney+ .

No word on if she will release a second movie with the newly scrambled show and additional set.

Swift is only a third of the way through her 51 European stops. In the fall, she will come back to North America, heading to Miami, New Orleans and Indianapolis in October and November and then Canada. Her last show for 2024 is on Dec. 8 in Vancouver, British Columbia.

For anyone who hoped that the Eras Tour might get an extension into its third calendar year with added dates in 2025, Taylor Swift has disabused them of that notion, affirming that her global trek really will come to a close with its currently scheduled final dates in North America in December of this year.

Swift made the proclamation while performing the 100th date of the tour on the first night of a weekend engagement in Liverpool on Thursday.

Although Swift’s camp has not released any box office grosses from the tour, industry experts believe the total gross will surpass $2 billion by the time it wraps up in December. The closest runner-up will remain Elton John’s “Farewell Yellow Brick Road,” which grossed $939 million over a five-year span.

Swift’s European tour will wrap up Aug. 20 with the second of two runs in London’s Wembley Stadium. From there, she is scheduled to take time off from the road before returning to U.S. stadiums in November for the first time since late 2023, doing shows in just three U.S. cities — Miami, Indianapolis and New Orleans — before the tour concludes in late November and early December with six shows in Toronto and three in Vancouver. The last date is scheduled in the latter Canadian city for Dec. 8.

Taylor Swift said her record-breaking Eras Tour will end in December, appearing to confirm the tour’s conclusion for the first time Thursday night onstage in Liverpool, England.

The Anfield Stadium stop was the 100th show of the tour, which began in March 2023 . Swift told the audience that the milestone “doesn’t feel like a real statistic,” saying it felt like the tour had just begun.

“This has definitely been the most exhausting, all-encompassing, but most joyful, most rewarding, most wonderful thing that has ever happened in my life, this tour,” Swift said, according to footage from the audience posted on social media.

“The celebration of the 100th show for me means this is the very first time I’ve ever acknowledged to myself and admitted that this tour is going to end in December,” she continued. “That feels so far away from now, but then again, it feels like we just played our first show on this tour. Because you have made this so much fun for us that we wanted to do 100 shows — 150-something shows that we have on the whole tour.”

Since the tour’s first stop in Glendale, Ariz., Swift has created a cultural phenomenon and solidified her pop dominance, performing in 17 states and 12 countries so far across North America, South America, Australia, Asia and Europe.

The 3½-hour-long show became the highest-grossing tour of all time by surpassing $1 billion in December, and it has broken attendance records at multiple stadiums. The film version became the highest-grossing concert film ever, according to the Grammy Awards.

Swift kicked off the European leg of her tour last month and will perform there through August. She will return to the United States briefly in October and November, with concerts in Miami, New Orleans and Indianapolis.

The tour’s final announced dates are in Toronto and Vancouver at the end of November and beginning of December, respectively. The last scheduled tour date is Dec. 8, five days before Swift’s 35th birthday.

The Style section

“This tour has really become my entire life. It’s become — it’s taken over everything. I think I once had hobbies, but I don’t know what they were anymore, because all I do when I’m not onstage is sit at home and try to think of clever acoustic song mashups and think about what you might want to hear,” Swift said at Thursday’s show. “When I’m not on the stage, I’m dreaming about being back on the stage with you guys.”

She made the comments before playing the 10-minute version of “All Too Well,” one of her most celebrated songs . Dressed in the red sequined costume that corresponds with her “Red” album, on which the song appears, Swift smiled as she acknowledged the lengths to which fans have gone to attend the concert.

“You have done so much to be with us, right? You’ve made plans so far in advance. You planned what you were going to wear, you memorized lyrics, you got yourselves here, you figured out parking, you figured out transportation,” Swift said.

“I want to spend the 100th show just thinking about that and living in this moment with you and being here with you. And just know that I appreciate every single ounce of effort that you put in to being with us.”

Taylor Swift fans danced so hard during her concerts they created seismic activity in Edinburgh, Scotland

By Caitlin O'Kane

Taylor Swift's Era's Tour has broken huge records in ticket sales , but her concerts in Edinburgh, Scotland, just tipped another scale — the seismic scale. Fans at her concerts last weekend danced so hard they generated seismic activity that was felt nearly four miles away from the Murrayfield Stadium, according to the British Geological Survey.

BGS says three songs consistently generated the most seismic activity during each of the three Edinburgh shows: "…Ready For It?" "Cruel Summer" and "champagne problems."

"…Ready For It?" starts with a loud, blown out bass beat and is 160 beats per minute, making it the perfect song for triggering seismic shakes, BGS said. The crowd transmitted about 80 kilowatts of power, or about the amount of power created by 10 to 16 car batteries, according to BGS.

The Friday, June 7 concert showed the most seismic activity, with the ground showing 23.4 nanometers of movement, BGS found.

While the crowd shook the Earth enough for it to register at BGS' monitoring stations miles from the venue, people in the immediate vicinity of the stadium were likely the only ones to feel the Earth shaking.

This is not the first time a crowd has created a quake — and Swifties are usually the culprits.

During a 2011 NFL playoff game between the Seattle Seahawks and the New Orleans Saints at what was then called Qwest Field in Seattle, Marshawn Lynch made a play that drove the crowd so wild they caused shaking that registered on a seismometer.

Scientists were interested in the stadium shake, which earned Lynch a new nickname: "Beast Quake." But last July, Swift proved it's not just football fans who can create tremors in Seattle. During her Eras Tour concert at the venue, a quake registered on the same seismometer.

"The actual amount that the ground shook at its strongest was about twice as big during what I refer to as the Beast Quake (Taylor's Version)," Jackie Caplan-Auerbach, a geology professor at Western Washington University, told CBS News at the time. "It also, of course, lasted for hours. The original Beast Quake was a celebration on the part of some very excited fans that lasted maybe 30 seconds."

When Swift took her tour to Los Angeles' SoFi stadium in August, a California Institute of Technology research team recorded the vibrations created by the 70,000 fans in the stands.

Motion sensors near and in the stadium as well as seismic stations in the region recorded vibrations during 43 out of her 45 songs. "You Belong with Me" had the biggest local magnitude, registering at 0.849.
