Start your tour of Lahore inside the old walled city, a historic and relatively compact area that's easy to get around on foot. Some of Lahore's major attractions, such as the Lahore Fort and Badshahi Mosque, with the nearby new Food Street (in Fort Road) are located here, at the heart of the sprawling greater city, which holds further sights and experiences.

The province of Punjab is known for its especially abundant culinary offerings, and Lahore in particular is heralded as a hot spot for gastronomy. Some of the dishes you'll certainly encounter on restaurant menus include all manner of meat grills and kebabs, spicy chicken karahi and Lahori, along with a variety of further chicken dishes, and deep-fried goodies sold off street sides. To acquaint yourself with local dining culture, begin at the new Food Street nearby the Lahore Fort, eventually working your way down to Anarkali Bazaar.

High tea and Sunday brunch are big at Lahore cafes, the latter immensely popular with local families. An attractive spot for an outing is never too far away, regardless of which part of the city you find yourself in, which includes locales serving Punjab specialities and Continental foods.

Shopping opportunities are abundant in Lahore; in fact, entire city neighbourhoods are taken over by stores and vendors peddling all manner of goods. Items worth purchasing include gold, silver and precious stone jewellery, silk and textiles, carpets, pashminas, leather goods (including footwear), spices and cooking paraphernalia, and more. Remember to haggle, for prices are rarely fixed outside of major modern shopping malls.

The city of Lahore is a must-see for everybody who has ever visited Pakistan or is planning to visit Pakistan. It is one of the best tourist destinations in Pakistan. With an estimated 11 million residents, it is hard to imagine a more appropriate description of Punjab’s capital and second-largest city. 

We can trace the city’s history from when Islam began to spread across the subcontinent. Tourists are attracted to Pakistan’s city of Lahore for its diverse offerings. Options range from seeing precious items and historical landmarks to shopping and dining in a wide range of establishments. 

It is a city with a rich history, hospitable people, and some of Pakistan’s best food. There are almost endless attractions to see in Lahore.

Read on for a list of the top sites to visit in Lahore, Pakistan’s cultural capital, including some of the city’s most well-known landmarks as well as some intentionally quirky detours!

Pakistan’s national symbol, the Minar-e-Pakistan, is widely regarded as a perfect reflection of the country’s ideals. You may find this monument in Lahore’s famed Iqbal Park, one of the largest urban parks in Pakistan. 

The Lahore Resolution, passed by the All-India Muslim League on March 23, 1940, was signed here in the 1960s and is patriotic for Pakistan. Tourists come from all over the world to see the architectural blend of Islamic, Mughal, and Modern styles.

It was possible to enter the building and take an elevator to the top, but now the elevator doesn’t appear to be open anymore. 

You can also find fountains and the mausoleum of Ranjit Singh on the grounds of the Minar-e-Pakistan. Weekends are the busiest time to visit (as are most other times in Lahore), although the area can be quiet during the week.

Visiting Hours : There are no particular visiting hours for Minar-e-Pakistan; you can essentially visit the place 24/7.

( Top Tip : The Lahore Fort offers spectacular views of the Minar.)

Most visitors to Lahore include a visit to the Wagah Border among their top visiting locations. It’s also one of a kind. An evening at the Wagah border is an essential part of any visit to Lahore. This location marks Pakistan and India’s boundary. 

Tourists come here to see the Wagah border ritual, which has been held simultaneously by Pakistan and India since 1959. The “border closure ritual” occurs every day after sunset. Hundreds of people from both sides of the Indian subcontinent attended the celebration, largely a display of aggression supplemented by some acting. 

Every tourist to Lahore should get a chance to see the huge crowds and the elaborate drills on both sides. Depending on your starting point, it takes 30 minutes to an hour to reach the Wagah Border from Lahore. You can use Careem to travel there if you don’t have a car, but you won’t be able to enter the destination.

Visiting Hours : In the summer, the ceremony should begin at 4:45 PM, while in the winter, it should begin at 4:00 PM. 

( Top Tip : Visit an hour earlier to get the best possible seat!)

If you’re in Lahore, don’t miss the Badshahi Mosque. The prophet Muhammad, his daughter, and their son-in-law’s family treasures are displayed for everyone to see.

Constructed in 1671, Badshahi Mosque is Lahore’s crown jewel. It is an enduring icon of the Mughal Empire (1526-1857). The red sandstone used in its building is symbolic of the Mughal period.

Pakistan’s second-largest mosque has a massive courtyard that can accommodate 100,000 worshipers! The building is stunning, and it’s well worth the time it takes to explore it in-depth for a few hours.

The Sikhs, who governed Lahore from 1799 until 1849, used Badshahi Mosque as a military headquarters for much of its existence. The mosque’s courtyard was used as a horse stable during that time.

After the fall of the Sikh Empire, the British used the mosque as a military outpost. For the first time, Badshahi Mosque was used for worship and prayer after Pakistan got independence in 1947. 

Visiting Hours : The tourists are free of the worries about visiting hours as it is open essentially 24/7.

( Note : Body needs to be covered from head to toe, and women need to wear a headscarf.)

Fort Road, a bustling food area in Lahore packed with brightly colored buildings, is only a five-minute walk from Badshahi Mosque. 

Every time you look at one of these buildings present in Food Street, you’ll find something new that you didn’t see before! You may also enjoy the view of Badshahi Mosque from Haveli Restaurant, Andaz Restaurant, and Cooco’s Den in this area, all of which have excellent food and service. 

Visiting Hours : 1 PM- 1 AM

( Recommendation : It is recommended to Have dinner at one of the places on this list just before sunset. It is a great way to take in the sun setting over Badshahi Mosque while savoring some delectable local cuisine.)

If you’re a nature lover, Lahore’s Shalimar Garden is a great place to get away from the city for a little while. It has been designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

After a long day of exploring the city, this is a great spot to take a stroll and clear your head. The Shah Jahan Shalimar garden complex’s third and final masterpiece was finished in 1642. Aside from that, there’s a large pool and other fountains to enjoy here.  

Visiting Hours : Visiting hours are from 8 AM to 6 PM every day to spend some quality time.

( Recommendation : Spring and Autumn are the finest times to visit Shalimar Bagh (February to April and Sept-Oct). Flowering trees, such as the Chinar, change color from green to orange and yellow during this time of year, lending the garden an inviting light.)

The Wazir Khan Mosque, located in Old Lahore, is another important religious institution worth seeing while you’re there. Shah Jahan commissioned it in 1634, and it took seven years to build, which is understandable given the intricate tilework on its outside. 

Visitors enter the mosque and are greeted by an interior as stunning as the exterior: Persian tile work and patterns abound.

Even if you only stop by in the evening, you’re sure to hear a prayer call. You cannot remain in the mosque’s courtyard and wait in the authorized prayer rooms during prayers.

Waiting a few minutes before returning to the outside world after finishing prayers is considered proper etiquette because spirits are said to come home through the mosque courtyard after sunset. 

Visiting Hours : You can visit this amazing attraction daily around 5 AM to 8 PM.

( Amazing Tip for Tourist : You may pay the men who collect shoes at the mosque entrance 500 rupees, and they will let you climb one of the mosque’s minarets! Not only can you see the entire mosque from up there, but you can also see the bustling streets of Old Lahore!)

The Anarkali Bazaar in Lahore is one of the city’s oldest markets. In the Mughal Empire, Anarkali was a famous Mughal dancer. Emperor Saleem, the son of the renowned Mughal Emperor Akbar Badshah, was a close friend of Anarkali.

Anarkali Bazaar is located on Mall Road near GPO Chowk in the center of Lahore. The food lane in Anarkali is famous for Pakistani delicacies, including Siri Pay, Lassi, Halwa Puri, and chicken Karahi, to name a few. 

A lot of people and automobiles congregate in this region at all times. There is a large gate at the entrance. Both sides of Anarkali Bazaar have Mughal-era structures. Another reason to visit Anarkali is the abundance of apparel, jewelry, shoes, and handbags for women, coats, and jackets for men. 

It’s a great destination for people who enjoy shopping. One of the best places to find bargains is here.  Lahore’s Anarkali Bazaar is surrounded by some of the city’s most well-known landmarks. 

Near Anarkali, you will find the well-known tourist destination of Neela Gumbad. Anarkali is also close to Pakistan’s well-regarded medical college. Government College (GC) is a British-era college located in Anarkali. For tourists, Anarkali is the greatest option. 

Visiting Hours : Visitors interested in historical places should not miss this location.

( Tip : If you want to get a view of Historic places, eat different foods, and go shopping for yourself. The Anarkali Bazar is your go-to place.)

Lahore Museum is where to go if you want to learn everything about Pakistan’s history and culture. 

Among the treasures in this museum are rare manuscripts, old coins, carved woodwork, Buddhist art, and the largest and oldest collection of cultural items in Pakistan.

In addition, the museum houses one of the most extensive collections of Indian history. The museum also has many Islamic artifacts, including ancient Quran manuscripts. 

Visiting Hours : You can visit the tourist destination around 9 AM to 4 PM. It is closed on Friday.

( Note : The entrance fee for the foreigners to enter the Lahore Museum is 1k PKR or USD 6.)

The Walled City is a solitary site and a living record of the past and the present. Only six of the original 13 gates survive today, dating back to roughly 1000BC. The remaining six gates include the well-known Delhi and Lohari Gates. 

The Wazir Khan Masjid is the closest landmark to the former. On occasions such as the 12th of Rabi ul Awwal, the latter is the focal access route.

Enter through any gate in the morning (or afternoon) and observe where the time takes you. Hidden restaurants, opulent Havelis, and a myriad of obscure shrines await you in the city’s tucked-away streets and alleyways. 

For photographers, there are few spots in Lahore as photogenic as this! You can visit the place whenever you want, but it’s best to go exploring before it gets dark.

Inside the Lahore Fort sits the Sheesh Mahal, also known as the “Palace of Mirrors.” One of Lahore’s most attractive attractions, the elaborate mirror work is unmatched.

Built-in 1631, the Sheesh Mahal’s mirror work on marble walls creates a shimmering impression. There have been several conservation efforts that have kept this historic site in outstanding condition.

The Lahore Fort, a must-see if you’re a history lover, is located right next to the Badshahi Mosque. In the 11th century, it was just a mud-brick fort, but it was repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt by the Mongols, Timur, and Pashtuns for the next 500 years.

The Lahore Fort is one of the city’s most well-known attractions, it’s an excellent place to visit. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to see all of the fort’s palaces, gardens, and museums. Here, you could easily spend a half-day.

12. The Tomb of Jahangir 

It is unquestionably one of Lahore’s most impressive Mughal architectural landmarks. It was constructed in 1637 as Jahangir’s ultimate resting place as Mughal emperor.

The Jahangir Tomb is a long journey from Lahore, but it is definitely worth the trip. Frescos, marble, and other ornamental works fill the site.

This place is a must-see in Lahore if you’re a fan of the city’s historic architecture. For those who don’t have a car, Careem or Uber may quickly get you to the tomb in around an hour’s drive from the city (500 rupees or so.) 

After you’ve seen the tomb, take a break in the Persian-inspired gardens that surround it.

Visiting Hours : You can see this peaceful place every day from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Johar Town is home to the emporium mall. Separate events happen at the exact location at various times. You may satisfy your hunger after a long day of shopping at one of the many attractive food courts. 

You may find all necessities within a short distance of the mall. Shopping, dining, and having fun are all part of the daily routine at Emporium Mall for many families.

Visiting Hours : You can visit the Emporium Mall every day from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

The Army Museum in Lahore is close to the Allama Iqbal International Airport and is Pakistan’s second type (the first being in Rawalpindi). It opened to the public in 2017 and provided an insight into the life of Pakistani military personnel.

There is room for an ever-growing list of the names of the Shuhada-e-Pakistan and sculptures portraying Pakistan’s military leaders from the time of independence to the present day, in the current construction. 

An armory of sorts is put up inside. It displays numerous weaponry used by Pakistani ground soldiers to safeguard the country in the past and the present.

Visiting Hours : You can visit the place from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM

( Top Tip : If you want to morn at the death of the APS students, then it should be your go-to place. All of the students killed in the Army Public School attack in Peshawar on December 14, 2014, have been recognized.)

The Cathedral Church of the Resurrection, often known as Lahore Cathedral Church, is an Anglican church located on Mall Road, just across from the Lahore High Court. 

The cathedral was completed on January 25, 1887. It was conceived and created by renowned architect “John Oldrid Scott” using pink sandstone.

The locals know the Cathedral Church in Lahore as ‘Kukar Girja.’ Urdu word “Girja” means “church” in Urdu; it is derived from the Portuguese term “Igreja.” 

Visiting Hours : You can visit the Church every Sunday from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM.

( Note : Don’t get confused when locals direct you to Kukar Girja. Lahoris called the cathedral church “Kukar Girja” because of a weather cock installed atop the central lantern, one of the building’s highest points.)

Built in 1860 at the request of the British, this railway station is complete with history. Non-Muslims eager to return to India might have begun their journey from here. Muslims who had fled India at the partition could start their journey here.

It established an initial connection to Amritsar in India at this station and, after that, to other subcontinental cities. The Lahore Railway Station and Kolkata’s steam terminal are nearly indistinguishable.

There is only “up line” service now that the border has been blocked. We cannot hide the fine carving on the buttresses and columns. 

There are porters available if you’re arriving or going. The station now acts as a freight center. If you’re a lover of history and want to discover some amazing facts, visit the station ASAP!

( Note : After partition, Hindus fled for India from here, while Muslims landed here on their way into Pakistan’s West Frontier Province. This quaint neighborhood in Lahore has so much history that it’s well worth a stop if you’re in town.)

Visiting Hours : The museum is closed on Mondays. You can see all other days from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

( Note : On Gurpurbs, the Gurus’ festivals, most Sikhs visit the Gurdwara. A Gurdwara is a welcoming place for people of all faiths. So, if you want to learn about Sikh history, this is a must-visit.)

Lahore’s Bhati Gate is home to the Haveli of Maharaja Nau-Nehal Singh, a son of Maharaja Kharak Singh. Maharaja Nau Nehal Singh commissioned its construction in 1840 as a residential house. 

This gorgeous Haveli is one of the few Sikh-era Havelis that retain its original decor and construction. Fresco paintings of the Kangra style cover the whole facade of the structure. 

The design incorporates elements from the Islamic, Hindu, and Sikh religions. The Punjab Education Department now owns and maintains it.

Visiting Hours : The place is open 24/7. So, you can visit whenever you want.

( Top Tip : It’s a peaceful place for the photographers. If you’re looking to capture some fantastic shots. Visit the site ASAP!)

20. Data Darbar Lahore

The most prominent Sufi shrine in South Asia is a must-see for every traveler. The remains of Data Ganj Baksh, who is believed to have lived in Lahore in the 11th century, are kept at Data Darbar.

The annual three-day Urs (death anniversary) Festival at Data Darbar attracts more than a million followers, making it one of the busiest Sufi shrines in the world. 

On a typical day, the shrine is buzzing with activity, especially on weekends. The Data Darbar features separate entrances for men and women. However, cameras are not allowed owing to security concerns. 

Visiting Hours : You can visit the place anytime. It is open 24/7.

( Top Tip : Even though Data Darbar doesn’t allow cameras in the location, you can bring your Phone Cameras with you.)

Start your tour of Lahore inside the old walled city, a historic and relatively compact area that's easy to get around on foot. Some of Lahore's major attractions, such as the Lahore Fort and Badshahi Mosque, with the nearby new Food Street (in Fort Road) are located here, at the heart of the sprawling greater city, which holds further sights and experiences.

The province of Punjab is known for its especially abundant culinary offerings, and Lahore in particular is heralded as a hot spot for gastronomy. Some of the dishes you'll certainly encounter on restaurant menus include all manner of meat grills and kebabs, spicy chicken karahi and Lahori, along with a variety of further chicken dishes, and deep-fried goodies sold off street sides. To acquaint yourself with local dining culture, begin at the new Food Street nearby the Lahore Fort, eventually working your way down to Anarkali Bazaar.

High tea and Sunday brunch are big at Lahore cafes, the latter immensely popular with local families. An attractive spot for an outing is never too far away, regardless of which part of the city you find yourself in, which includes locales serving Punjab specialities and Continental foods.

Shopping opportunities are abundant in Lahore; in fact, entire city neighbourhoods are taken over by stores and vendors peddling all manner of goods. Items worth purchasing include gold, silver and precious stone jewellery, silk and textiles, carpets, pashminas, leather goods (including footwear), spices and cooking paraphernalia, and more. Remember to haggle, for prices are rarely fixed outside of major modern shopping malls.

I Sailed on the Longest Luxury River Cruise in the World — Here's What It Was Like

A cultural ritual in Varanasi, 15 days in Bangladesh, and incredible wildlife spotting opportunities were among the trip's highlights.

The Ganges is to India what the Nile is to Egypt and what the Euphrates is to Mesopotamia: It's the beating heart of the destination's cultural and economic life. Flowing more than 1,500 miles from the Himalayas to the Bay of Bengal, the Ganges nurtured the Hindu holy city of Varanasi for thousands of years. It was on these banks that the Buddha preached his first sermon in 528 BCE, and it was along these waters that the British built the first capital of the British Raj, Kolkata.

Where the river flows through land, it shelters some of the most endangered aquatic fauna in the world, and where it meets the sea, it spawns one of the largest mangrove forests on Earth. And yet, never has a luxury river cruise sailed the Ganges — at least not one that compared to world-class river itineraries in other parts of the world.

This changed last year, when India's Antara Luxury River Cruises launched an epic itinerary down the Ganges and its sister river, the Brahmaputra. Covering nearly 2,000 miles in 51 days, it is the longest river cruise in the world.

Here's what it's like.

Kolkata-based Antara Luxury River Cruises operates the tour, a subsidiary of the Exotic Heritage Group , which has been involved in luxury travel in India for the last 30 years.

Raj Singh, an Indian wildlife expert and luxury travel pioneer, is among the trip promoters of this journey, as is Andrea Massari , a Singapore-based cruise expert who has previously managed luxury river cruises on the Irrawaddy River in Myanmar with Ayravata Cruises and the Mekong River in Vietnam with Pandaw Cruises. An architect by training, Massari oversees the technology of the cruise ships. A third director is Annapurna Garimella , an art historian, designer, author, and doctor of philosophy from Columbia University, who oversees the design elements of the cruise.

The group owns four luxury cruise vessels deployed on shorter luxury cruises until now.

The cruise begins at the holy city of Varanasi in central India. While here, guests witness Ganga Aarti, an awe-inspiring ritual performed at sundown each day on the banks of the Ganges. In this tradition, a cohort of priests offer ritual prayers in honor of the river, which is worshiped as a goddess in Hinduism. 

With flickering flames of multi-tiered brass lamps dancing against the night sky, the deep, harmonic thrum of conch shells piercing the air, and the chant of soul-stirring mantras floating over the water, the Ganga Aarti is a spellbinding performance of a living tradition that has continued unbroken for thousands of years. Once departed from Varanasi, the cruise journeys downstream and to more than 50 remarkable destinations, including UNESCO World Heritage Sites, natural parks, and historical metropolises. Kaziranga National Park is among these special places, home to more than two-thirds of the surviving population of the endangered one-horned rhino, as well as Majuli — the largest river island in the world.

Other major stops along the route include Bodh Gaya, where Buddha attained enlightenment and one of the most important pilgrimage centers for Buddhists all over the world; Kolkata, also known as the City of Joy, once the capital of the British Raj in India and home of Nobel laureates Mother Teresa and Rabindranath Tagore. Kolkata is also the epicenter of the global jute industry, accounting for the bulk of its production and export.

Murshidabad and Sualkuchi — two cities famous worldwide for their mulberry silk textiles — are also significant itinerary stops. Guests get to see the art of sericulture (silk production) up close and the craft of weaving some of the finest silk textiles on earth.

Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, is a bustling city of crafts, culture, and beautiful Islamic architecture. The cruise spends 15 days in Bangladesh before reentering India.

In the Sundarbans — the largest mangrove forests on earth and home of the endangered Bengal tiger — guests are privy to yet another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Mangroves, comprised of trees that grow in saline water, typically where rivers meet the sea, are biodiversity hotspots and act as huge carbon sinks, helping combat climate change. It is an ecological wonder to behold firsthand.

The cruise ends at Dibrugarh, a city in the northeastern Assam region of India known for its eponymous Assam tea. Famous for its sprawling tea estates, Dibrugarh produces so much high-quality tea that it is known as the Tea City of India.

All this is in addition to the remarkable views guests can expect while onboard the boat, with the geography and the landscape changing as you sail. Animal spotting is undoubtedly likely, as the Ganges is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, including the endangered Gangetic dolphin, otters, at least 15 species of freshwater turtles, and three varieties of crocodile, including the critically endangered gharial , found only in the Ganges.

The MS Ganga Vilas is a luxury vessel done in Art Deco style. At more than 200 feet long and nearly 40 feet wide, it is a vessel made for small, intimate journeys rather than big, boisterous tours.

There are 18 luxury suites here, and they spread across three decks with a capacity to host 36 guests in total. Each suite has floor-to-ceiling French windows for optimal views. For an even more expansive perspective, guests can head to the sundeck to sunbathe, participate in a yoga session, or just relax.  You might spot river dolphins leaping out of the water if you're lucky. 

The restaurant onboard seats up to 40 guests and serves Indian and Continental fare. There’s also a spa and a gym available. The vessel is also home to a reverse-osmosis water plant, which provides fresh and safe drinking water. Its hospital-grade silencers ensure a noise-free cruise experience for guests and the river’s fragile fauna. 

To further ensure that the vessel causes the least stress on the river’s ecosystem, the operator uses sea vessel-grade oil-water separators to ensure that the oil is separated from the water in the vessel’s discharge. Premium sewage treatment plants ensure that no contamination of the river water occurs from the waste generated on the ship. No plastic is used on board; water is served in aluminum water bottles, which guests can take as souvenirs.

Start your tour of Lahore inside the old walled city, a historic and relatively compact area that's easy to get around on foot. Shopping opportunities are abundant in Lahore; in fact, entire city neighbourhoods are taken over by stores and vendors peddling all manner of goods. Items worth purchasing include gold, silver and precious stone jewellery, silk and textiles, carpets, pashminas, leather goods (including footwear), spices and cooking paraphernalia, and more. Remember to haggle, for prices are rarely fixed outside of major modern shopping malls.

Tom Cruise’s daughter Suri celebrates graduation with mom sans dad

LOS ANGELES   -   Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’s daughter Suri Cruise, 18, celebrated her high school graduation in the absence of her father. Suri and her mother Katie celebrated at LaGuardia High School’s graduation ceremony at the United Palace Theatre, while Tom was in London for Taylor Swift’s concert. In addition to Suri’s warm embrace with another graduate, photos showed Katie and Suri grinning with delight. Suri’s name was stated as “Suri Noelle” on the graduation pamphlet, which is noteworthy and raises the possibility that she omitted her father’s last name. Suri also accessorised her crimson graduation gown for the big day with a delicate white frock and finished the ensemble with white sandals adorned with flowers. Katie, on the other hand, looked great with a matching pale yellow suit and a long-sleeved blouse with a collar. Even though Suri was living away from the limelight as a teenager, she has professionally displayed her musical ability. Katie sings a rendition of Blue Moon at the opening credits of her 2022 film Alone Together. In her mother’s 2023 movie Rare Objects, Suri also sang. “I hope she always does something on my films.

Bollywood starlet Sara Ali Khan says guests were served with gold along with roti at the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.

Ever since the pictures from Ambanis’ second pre-wedding celebrations have been out, people were curious to know what it was like inside the lavish affair. When asked to one of the guests, Bollywood actor Sara Ali Khan, she quipped, “They would serve us gold. Like, with our  roti , we were eating gold. I swear, and there were diamonds everywhere.”

She soon clarified, “It was a nice, lovely, warm, hospitable event. I have gone to school with Anant and I have known Radhika growing up. It was very warm. The entire Ambani family, Nita Ma’am who was the chairperson of Dhirubai Ambani school, they are so warm and welcoming.”

“I think everyone looks at them like, Ambani family, wow, gold. But there were real moments that stood out like Nita Ma’am performing on-stage,” Khan added.

For the unversed, India’s richest man Mukesh Ambani and his family hosted two legs of pre-wedding festivities for their youngest son Anant Ambani and his fiance Radhika Merchant, ahead of the grand wedding next month.

After a three-day pre-wedding jamboree in a township in Jamnagar near Reliance’s main oil refinery, in March, Ambanis took more than 800 guests, including Bollywood and sports personalities, as well as business tycoons on a 4-day private cruise across Europe, sailing from Italy to France, earlier this month.
