It’s Day 2 of Sean and Stef’s Western European cruise on the P&O Ventura and it’s their first sea day, so you know what that means… That’s right, it’s Ship Tour Day on the P&O Ventura! Join Sean and Stef as they explore every deck of the P&O Cruises Ventura.

P&O Ventura Cruise Ship Tour:

Sean and Stef start their tour on Deck 19, the Ocean Deck which has a gorgeous aft view, sitting areas, golf nets and a sports court. From there it’s down to Deck 18, the Sky Deck which is home to Metropolis, a gorgeous bar with stunning views and amazing video screens. Just below the Sky Deck is Deck 17, the Sports Deck. On Deck 17 you’ll find the Retreat, an upcharge reserved private area and the Epicurean at the White Room restaurant. Heading down to Deck 16, the Sun Deck, which is where you’ll find the Kids club, the reef, scuba & h20. Moving down Deck 16 you’ll also find shuffleboard, the top entrance the the Beachcomber pool area, the Breakers bar and seating area, Oasis spa and gym and the Oasis pool. Moving on to Deck 15, the Lido Deck, is where you’ll find the Laguna pool, Laguna bar, Poolside Grill, Poolside Pizzeria and Ice Cream Shop. Moving along Deck 15 is the Beachcomber pool (inside pool) with Skydome roof and the Beachcomber bar. Working our way aft on Deck 16 you’ll find the Waterside buffet and the Beach House restaurant. All the way aft on Deck 16 is the Terrace pool and the Terrace bar. An amazing spot to sit and watch the world go by. From Deck 15 Sean and Stef skip the decks with only cabins and move on to Deck 7, the Prom Deck. Here you’ll find the Havana Club, Photo Gallery, Sindhu at East restaurant (amazing Indian cuisine) and Dickson’s Travel. Just outside of the electronics store you’ll find the The Tamarind Club which is a nice lounge for movies and small venue entertainment. Outside of the Tamarind Club is the high end shopping including watches and jewelry followed by the Red Bar where you can listen to live Piano music or enjoy the events going on in the Atrium below. Just past the Red Bar you’ll find the Glass House restaurant and the Arena, the main theater on board the P&O Ventura. Moving on down to Deck 6, the F Deck, you’ll find the Arcade, the second entrance to the Arena, the Fortunes Casino and the Exchange Pub. Also on Deck 6 you’ll find the Reception Desk, Shopping and two Main Dining Restaurants, the Saffron Restaurant and the Bay Tree Restaurant. Finally moving on down to Deck 5, the P Deck, you’ll find the Cinnamon Restaurant Main Dining Room, Tazzine Bar and Coffee Shop and the Atrium. Adjacent to the Atrium is the Art Gallery, Perfume and Makeup Shop, Shore Excursion and Cruise Sales and the Library.

After touring the entire P&O Ventura, Sean and Stef head back to their cabin and then enjoy lunch in Saffron Restaurant on Deck 6. After Lunch and some relax time it’s Black Tie Night on the P&O Ventura. Sean and Stef dress up for Black Tie Night and attend the Captain’s Gala followed by dinner in the Saffron Restaurant on Deck 6. Sean and Stef end their evening with Drinks and music by Daniel East in the Havana Club. A fantastic end to a wonderful day on board the P&O Ventura.

We're a long-term partner of P&O Cruises. We've been delivering class-leading virtual tours and other projects for Britain's favourite cruise line since 2003. The brief was to give potential cruise passengers a look around one of P&O Cruises modern cruise ships to see what's on offer (without the need to visit Southampton) to help sway people’s decision to book a cruise for the first time. First time cruisers are very important to P&O Cruises as many will turn into loyal passengers for years to come.

Other projects with P&O Cruises

P&O Cruises have had a few high profile events in their time, two of which we were very proud to be invited to – their 175th Anniversary celebrations and most recently the launch of their newest cruise ship Britannia.

For the 175 th Anniversary back in 2012 we floated (excuse the pun) the idea of shooting hi-res imagery of the P&O Cruises fleet of cruise ships so that lucky passengers out on deck could zoom in and tag themselves (via a bespoke piece of tagging software) on Facebook and/or Twitter. This needed a bit of organisation on both sides as we needed to position photographers either side of Southampton water to shoot each side of the ships as they sailed past. The results were spectacular and nearly 300 people per ship tagged themselves using the images we produced and hosted.

One the strength of the 175 th Anniversary shoot, P&O Cruises invited us back in 2015 to recreate the same success we had back in 2012, only this time for their newest cruise ship Britannia – the largest cruise ship built for British cruise passengers. Three years is a long time in the photography world, so we were able to bring along some exciting new kit. Spectacular results again with 200+ passengers tagging themselves on the hi-res imagery taken.

Pacific Encounter showcases many of our favourite features as well as a range of new ones that you are sure to love.

Splurge and book a suite or mini-suite and along with a host of great benefits, select rooms will gain access to Byron Beach Club, our new private retreat with pool, spas and comfy seating, located on the top deck of the ship. Enjoy expansive views along with pure relaxation and a superior level of service for dining reservations, shore tours, embarkation and disembarkation. Guests will love the relaxed breakfast at Angelo’s as well as the healthy options from the Byron Beach menu throughout the day.

Experience what Australian celebrity chef, Luke Mangan, has to offer at Luke’s Bar & Grill. Be sure to enjoy an elegant cocktail at Luke's Bar, prior to dining. If you’re feeling more casual,  check out Luke’s Burger Bar for al fresco burgers or try P&O Pizzeria for some delicious pizza options. Both easily found poolside on Deck 14.

The Lobby, located on deck 5 is our favourite new hang out place, from morning to night. It is the perfect place to sit and watch the (ship’s) world go by. Choose from three fabulous bars for your favourite drink, a snack, a quick lunch, or a cheese platter. We’re sure the Lobby will also be your favourite new hangout place. If you’re in the mood for something more lively head to Altitude, our nightclub on Deck 18.

Familiar favourites include Waterfront, Angelo’s and Dragon Lady or go casual in The Pantry.  Check out the new P&O Trattoria on Level 7.  Serving rustic, family-friendly Italian fare and freshly cooked pizza, P&O Trattoria offers a warm, relaxed atmosphere where fantastic food, good wine and wonderful service come together. Head to the child-free Oasis for a cocktail and a perfect view of the ship’s wake or the chilled-out vibe in the Ocean Bar, or for a true pub experience, head to Encounter Hotel.

At night, choose from live entertainment and lively signature P&O production shows including, Blanc de Blanc, a feast for the senses.

Families will love the dedicated indoor/outdoor family area with a pool, family focussed fun, games, parties and activities. Plus our fabulous Twin Racer Waterslides will be coming to Pacific Encounter on 23 March 2023.

On Pacific Encounter, there are more spaces to explore, more places to relax and more things to do.
