Psychetrance duo from Israel, Vini Vici, is embarking on a world tour to celebrate their tenth anniversary. The electronica icons Matan Kadosh and Aviram Saharai, from Alfula, emerged as Vini Vici in 2013 and moved on to fulfilling a phenomenal career in the EDM industry. For their stop in North America, Vini Vici will be performing a one-off date at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, California! On Saturday, 4th March 2023, the prolific DJs will deliver their biggest hits and most epic remixes! Vini Vici has been a staple among indie EDM fans, and now they’re here to perform the most exhilarating electronic music concert of the year! If you’re keen on seeing this psych trance powerhouse at the Hollywood Palladium, you better score tickets now because these two performers have been known to fill stadiums around the world!

Before performing under the name Vini Vici, Aviram Sahari and Mata Kadosh spent 12 years as Sesto Sento. Back then, the EDM act operated as a trio with former member Itai Spector. After Spector’s departure, the remaining members decided to continue as Vini Vici and move on to a brand new project. In 2015, the duo released their first breakthrough, “The Tribe.” The single was spawned by their debut album, Future Classics. The record received wide critical acclaim and gained prominence as a major player in the psych trance underground scene. A few years after its release, “The Tribe” has amassed over 11 million streams on Spotify.

Three years after their phenomenal breakthrough, Vini Vici released a couple of collaborations singles with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Timmy Trumpet, and Steve Aoki. The prolific Israeli performers later scored the headlining gig at Belgium’s Tomorrowland.

In 2019, Vini Vici released a remixed version of Highlight Tribe’s hit, “Free Tibet,” The single received close to 100 million views on Youtube and became a viral hit among psych trance fans around the world. The duo caught the attention of Armin Van Buuren, resulting in a monumental collaboration. Together with Armin Van Buuren and Highlight Tribe, Vini Vici released the single “Great Spirit,” garnering one million weekly streams.

Vini Vici announce world tour to celebrate their 10 years anniversary

Psytrance duo Vini Vici , aka Aviram Saharai and Matan Kadosh, have revealed a world tour to celebrate their 10 years anniversary, with the Part 1 of the tour being started earlier this month as the special premiere of their live shows at Ultra Music Festival in Miami (24th March).

The Israeli duo have taken over the Mainstage of Day 3 of Ultra Music Festival, by opening their set with an ID, and continued the rest of it with many classic bangers such as ' Chakra ', ' Untz Untz ', ' Yama ' along with many more unreleased tracks.

The rest of the world tour, is set to take place in more than 20 countries, with many big festivals included in it, such as Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) in Las Vegas (19 & 20 May), Balaton Sound in Budapest (30 June), Tomorrowland in Boom (21 July) and many more to be announced.

Vini Vici Announce 10-year Anniversary Solo Concert at Hollywood Palladium

Hitting a 10-year milestone, especially in an industry as fickle and difficult as the music industry is certainly a cause to celebrate, and the psytrance legends Vini Vici will be doing exactly that in 2023. The year-long dance party will see the duo hitting a number of international stages while also embarking on a world tour.

Kicking things off, the Vini Vici will be embarking upon the legendary Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, CA on March 4th, teaming up with industry heavyweight promoters Insomniac and Dreamstate to bring an exciting night of music to their fans.  The duo promises that the 90-minute show will feature their hit singles, as well as special live versions of the songs that will have live instrumentals and vocalists joining on stage to enhance the experience.  Of course, no anniversary celebration is complete without friends to share it with, so they will be hosting artists from their own imprint, Alteza Records plus local support as well to kick things off.

While fans around the world will have to patiently wait for further announcements on when and where Vini Vici will be taking their 10-year anniversary tour, those in southern California should be clearing out their schedule for March 4th as tickets for the Palladium event are already on sale.  On sale now through Dreamstate, the tickets are just $40 and ensure a night to remember while dancing to classic tracks like Great Spirit, The Tribe, Untz Untz, and many more, and with brand new interpretations as well.  Although the duo will be busy on the road, there is no doubt that the group will also continue their strong output of music, looking to start their next 10 years with the next set of anthems for their sets.  Be sure to stay tuned to Vini Vici’s social media pages for more details and dates throughout 2023.

On the release front, Vini Vici devoted much of the year to producing a series of mega-sized psy-trance groovers. Their electro-bouncer ‘Drink & Shout’   with Prezioso and Shibui was big, while their ‘renegade master’ re-work with Gabry Ponte, ‘Damage’   did, well, damage, everywhere it was dropped. 2023 was all about the collaborations for Vini Vici, including ‘Distorted Reality’ with Reinier Zonneveld, ‘When We Come Alive’ with Armin van Buuren and ALBA, ‘Wild’   with Steve Aoki, and ‘The Race’ with Timmy Trumpet and Sub Zero Project, a tune with one of the biggest breakdowns of 2023.

“Veni, Vidi, Vici”. The iconic motto first coined by Julius Caesar to mark his victory in the field, has been embodied by Israeli DJ/Production royalty Matan Kadosh and Aviram Saharai – better known as Vini Vici – to mark their conquest of the psychedelic trance genre.

Known as the fastest rising psytrance artists of their generation, the Afula natives have succeeded in propelling the genre to the forefront of the electronic music circuit through their energetic performances and inimitable productions. Both established producers in their own right, the pair united over their desire to rework old school sounds into modern day music that would break boundaries and transcend time.

Forming in 2013, Matan and Aviram’s early work garnered the attention of a host of talent and tastemakers, including superstar DJ, Armin van Buuren, who’s edit of their track ‘The Tribe’ and inclusion in ASOT show for a fifth time well and truly cemented their position as ones to watch. A catchy, lyrical hymn that fast became the most played track of Tomorrowland 2017, no festival in the world was complete without the chant of ‘Wakan Tanka, Hunkachila, Wohitika Oyate, Nagi Tanka, Tunkasila Akicita, Oyate’ that year. Dominating the airwaves and festival circuit alike, the gigs soon rolled in thick and fast for the duo. Charting at #34 on the DJ Mag Top 100, they received the ‘Highest Climber’ award, in addition to achieving a Golden Record for ‘Great Spirit’ and placing as Beatport’s Bestselling Psytrance artist for a fourth year running.

Flying the flag for devotees of the genre across the world, Vini Vici were the first ever psytrance act to grace the main stages at Tomorrowland and ULTRA Music Festival (Miami), in addition to being the first Psy act to perform at Lollapalooza. Continuing their crusade to bring psytrance to the masses, Vini Vici set their sights on a record label of their own and in 2018 Alteza Records was born. The crown jewel of the Israeli psytrance kings, the Alteza Records imprint has boasted a wealth of top-class releases from acts around the world, in addition to hosting their very own stage at Tomorrowland in 2019 and 2020. Vini Vici | London To Los Angeles

In a special collaboration with Alteza Records, two separate designs were required for figurehead events; one for London at IllumiNaughty and for Los Angeles at the Dreamstate Festival. Both were to set the stage for the world-renowned DJ group Vini Vici, headlining across both cities as part of their world tour, and to have a consistent theme that brought a unique experience to each event.

THE PROJECT

Both designs took the events into the deep jungle, with architectural temples and mythical figures standing high for an ethereal atmosphere. Warrior figureheads carved in faux-stone were lit up with fire and 3D mapped visuals, underneath a dramatic canopy of hanging foliage and vines.

Each stage design was matched with Amazonian performers who brought a tribal character to the events. They told the story of the four elements of Fire, Earth, Air and Water through costumes and acrobatic skillsets. Each skill represented their aligned element through fire, aerial, capoeira and contortion displays.

The designs for London were to vary significantly from those for Los Angeles, with new tribal sculptures created for each, and 3D mapping to a much greater extent in Los Angeles. As the stage at the Dreamstate Festival in Los Angeles was larger, there was more emphasis on dramatic visuals, whereas in London the performers took centre stage.

This Amazonian design became an evolving showcase of a tribal storyline. A dramatic look that has transformed the stage at both Troxy in London and a large festival arena at Dreamstate in Los Angeles, it represented the Alteza Records – Vini Vici tour.
