Banjar to Chitkul

Sadhupul is a quaint village in Himachal Pradesh, located between Solan and Chail, that is a well-known destination for picnics. Situated alongside the river Ashwin, this little village attracts large crowds of tourists because of its serene and beautiful landscape, pleasant weather, and gorgeous views of the river, one of its main attractions. Moreover, Sadhupul also has a bridge over the river, which is one of its highlights. This is the perfect choice for a calming excursion with friends and family away from the bustling city.

Situated between Chail and Solan in Himachal Pradesh, Sadhupul is a lovely little village that lies alongside the river Ashwin. Since there is no bus that goes directly to Sadhupul, you can hire a taxi from either Shimla or Shoghi. Another option is to take the train; the closest railway station is located in Kalka, about 40 km from Solan. You can take a taxi to cover the 26 km to Sandhupul. Lastly, you can also take a flight to Shimla Airport and then take a taxi to Sadhupul which is about 50 km away.

The best time to visit Sadhupul is during the spring season or even in autumn because this is when the weather is most pleasant and conducive for being out and about. The region is nice even during the summers, and is a good option if you wish to escape the city heat, but temperatures do rise occasionally. June is the hottest month. There are different accommodation options in Sadhupul. You can stay in a hotel, cottage, guest house, homestay, resort, or even opt for camping. Moreover, you can also go for an Airbnb for a more homely feel.

• Solan: About 26 km from Sadhupul, Solan is a beautiful station named after Shoolini Devi. It is home to numerous attractions, such as the Shoolini Devi Temple, Kuthar Fort, Majathal Sanctuary, Solan Brewery, Jawahar Park, and more.
• Chail: Very close to Sadhupul, Chail is a scenic hill station with many tourist sites to check out, such as the Chail Palace Hotel, a heritage establishment, Chail Wildlife Sanctuary, Kali Temple, Sidh Baba ka Mandir, and Chail Cricket Ground. Furthermore, there are many campsites in Chail if you wish to sleep outdoors.
• Kasauli: It is about 55 km away from Sadhupul and is famous for many beautiful sites, such as Sunset Point, Anglican Church, Monkey Point, Gilbert Trail, which is great for hiking, Baba Balak Nath Temple, etc. You can also take the Timber Trail ropeway ride, have delicious Tibetan food, go shopping on Mall Road, visit a brewery, and more.
