About brasilia.
Brasília is the capital of Brazil and is designed and build within 4 years. Urban planner Lucio Costa, architect Oscar Niemeyer and landscape architect Burle Marx, commissioned by President Juscelino Kubitschek, created the inland capital of Brasília, which was inaugurated on April 21st, 1960. Seen from above, Brasília looks like an aeroplane or a bow and arrow.
Because of its unique design and the architecture Brasília is under protection of the UNESCO s World Heritage. The architecture must truly be seen to be believed. Buildings like the Alvorada Palace, the Metropolitan Cathedral or the National Congress are of an unusual but harmonious design.

Hoy hicimos nuestro tour de Brasilia con Gabriel. Nos gustó mucho, aprendimos muchas cosas y seguramente vemos a la ciudad de Brasilia con otros ojos después de este tour. Un saludo y muchas gracias!
Just wanted to let you know we had the most amazing day today with our guide in Brasilia– it far exceeded our expectations. Regards Steph
Everything worked out fine. The tour was excellent thank you and Gabriel was first class. He gave us a lovely mixture of architecture, planning, politics and everyday living. We could not have wished for a better guide. Thanks very much for arranging it. We have just arrived in Rio to continue our holiday. Regards Barbara and Roger
Abrazos, Carmen
Thank you very much for the great images! I can use them for my presentation to the office. I also intend to write a report on our website but that will take some time as I will have to make up for the worktime I “lost” om my trip. The day after our excursion i rented a car and went to the University as you advised and I think it was great! I also saw the cultural centre near the bridge (from a Bank?), severel Quadras in the north, went over the bridge, saw Some cul the sac Housing on the other side of the bridge, tried to swim near some clubs near the other bridge, went back to the quadra you showed me, tried to get in the theater but this was closed, went up tv tower and to a fair behind it. A busy day. Thank for your your nice tour and great company, All the best.
Dear friends, Gabriel was a superb guide: knowledgeable, friendly, and very willing to adapt the itinerary to meet our interests. We left a recommendation for your company and Gabriel with the concierge at the hotel where we stayed, which was designed by Niemeyer and is often used by architects. Best, Rebecca
Hi Artchitectours team! I’m in São Paulo now, but my stay in Brasilia was fantastic. I cannot say enough good things about the guide; he was the most lovely, knowledgeable, accommodating guide I could have asked for. We had a great time and I will be sure to recommend you and your company to anyone traveling here. What other cities/countries do you operate in? Anyway, thank you for facilitating. It was well worth it. My best, Martin
I thought the tour was great! I learned a loooot and Lucas was very nice. He showed me around the most important parts of the city and also adjusted the tour to my needs in terms of the topics discussed. I really enjoyed and I am happy that I did the tour! Best Vanessa
It was a great tour- we learned a lot and saw a great deal. Lucas was a good guide and spoke very good English. Many thanks, Ronald
I had the most memorable day in Brasilia. Gabriel is the best. I enjoyed every minute with him. So glad I found Architectours. Thank you so much.
Everything went very well. We went on Thursday for the Itamaraty tour which was great. The interior is spectacular. I’m glad that we didnt miss seeing that. Lucas was a wonderful guide on Friday. He had a unique perspective since he lived in one of the supercuadras as a child. His English is excellent. We had a great time. Thank you.
