Zanzibar Tour Packages from India 2021
Africa, in particular its East Coast, brings to mind images of unique wildlife amidst the dense savanna in the famous game reserves.
Tanzania, just south of the Equator, and bordered by the Indian Ocean is known for the vast plains of the Serengeti, as well as the highest point in Africa – Mt. Kilimanjaro. But for many travelers the country houses a lesser-known, but equally magnificent gem, the island of Zanzibar.
Flying Squirrel Holidays’ tailor-made Zanzibar holiday packages from India help explore this archipelago just off the coast of Tanzania. As we believe that every traveler is different, we have customized our Tanzania Holiday Packages to suit our clients’ needs!
Everyone needs to go on a customized holiday to Zanzibar. Read on to know why!
- TOP ATTRACTIONS
THINGS TO DO
Places to visit, zanzibar tour packages from india.
Zanzibar is home to some utterly breathtaking, splendid beaches, along with a rich maritime history, which explains its diverse culture. For a wholesome, inclusive holiday, Zanzibar should be a must on everyone’s list! It has something to interest everyone: A water sports lover? Head to Mnemba Atoll. Fascinated by cultural and historical tours? Stone Town, the capital of the island of Zanzibar is the answer. Do not want to miss out on wildlife while in this part of Africa? Visit the Jozani Forest Reserve, home to the rare Red Colobus Monkeys and the Suni Antelope at the heart of the island.
CONFLUENCE OF CULTURES
Zanzibar’s unique history has seen travelers from Portugal, Oman, and Britain come here in search of spices and treasures. This gives the island its distinctive flavor. The mix of Swahili, Arab, Portuguese and British cultures is reflected in the architecture, food, and customs of the country.
FOR A BEACH FIX
No Zanzibar package holiday would be complete without including its pristine white beaches. The archipelago consists of many small islands, and the most famous beaches are Bwejuu beach (a quiet, secluded beach ideal for complete relaxation), Nungwi beach(a happening beach with a colorful nightlife), and Kendwa beach (known for having the most ethereal views of the sunset).
BOUTIQUE RESORTS, STUNNING VIEWS
A beach holiday in Tanzania is not necessarily devoid of luxury- Zanzibar offers some splendid boutique resorts. Gazing at the incredible views of the azure Indian Ocean while spending a few, quiet, peaceful hours in the lap of luxury on the sparkling white sand beaches will be a great way to unwind. The archipelago has many opulent resorts, promising a great deal of serenity and intimacy, great food, gorgeous rooms, private plunge pools, spas, making it ideal for couples.
UNDERWATER ESCAPADES
Zanzibar, being an archipelago, and being so incredibly rich in its aquatic life, naturally, is one of the premier sites in the world to explore the depths of the underwater. There are countless opportunities around the archipelago to snorkel, scuba dive, swim, and windsurf. Some places also offer angling, but depending on the species, the catch may be asked to be released back into the waters, which brings us to.
ECOTOURISM IN ZANZIBAR
To protect its delicate eco-system, Zanzibar promotes sustainable tourism practices. Traveling without disturbing the local landscape, and culture, being completely in tune with nature, supporting local businesses and homegrown brands is part of being a responsible tourist. In Zanzibar, the Chumbe Island Coral Park has been commended by the UN for its sustainable way of operating, including rainwater harvesting, composting toilets, and using solar panels for energy. As a responsible tourist, a visit to this private nature reserve will teach you about the conservation and sustainable management of this uninhabited island.
The SPICE-LAND
This archipelago is also fondly called the ‘Spice Island’. The bazaars of Zanzibar do justice to this name. Until recently, the island was the largest exporter of clove (the title has now been passed over to Indonesia). However, it is still the most famous spice of Zanzibar. Other spices common here are cardamom, nutmeg, pepper, vanilla, turmeric, cinnamon, and lemongrass. Go on a spice tour in Zanzibar and enjoy an afternoon in a spice farm smelling vanilla pods. It is a classic experience of any Tanzania holiday package.
Spice Island’s cuisine is diverse and delectable. Its history with spices has influenced its food, and the dishes found here are very distinctive. Urojo is an incredibly flavourful creation. A coconut broth-based ramen, its toppings range from falafel to kachori, bread, and hot peppers. Pweza wa nazi is a delicious octopus curry and is one of the best-loved dishes. Spicy and blended with coconut cream sauce, this octopus curry is served with rice. Moreover, the country is said to have the sweetest pineapples in the world!

Spice Plantations
Also called Changuu Island, it is a 30 minutes boat ride away from Stone Town. The island was originally built as a quarantine center during the Bubonic Plague to contain the spread of the epidemic, but now it is a hugely popular draw for tourists- swim and snorkel in its crystal clear waters and see the often talked about giant land tortoise!
Only an hour and a half away from Stone Town, this lovely beach is lined with palm trees and is considered to be one of the quietest places in the archipelago. It offers complete serenity and intimacy and packs a lot of fun activities to do- reef safari, snorkeling, diving, excursion to the surrounding mangrove forests, and some dhow excursions. There are many resorts aimed at couples on their honeymoon.
Nungwi Beach is one of the most dynamic and energetic places in Zanzibar and is a tourist favorite, with countless restaurants and fun and diverse nightlife. It is also considered to be one of the best locations to snorkel and dive, and there are chances to see dolphins, green turtles, and occasionally, whale sharks. While on Nungwi, do not miss out on a sunset dhow boat trip!
Jozani may be the only national park on Zanzibar, but is a delightfully rich mix of mangroves, tropical forests, salt marshes, and coral rug forests. Considered to be a ‘biodiversity hotspot’ by UNESCO, it is a great spot to see reef fish species, dolphins and over 150 species of birds. The animals found here are endemic to the island- including the Zanzibar Red Colobus and the Zanzibar Leopard.

TOP TOURIST ATTRACTIONS
Situated on the seafront, this garden comes alive at night with countless food vendors selling local Zanzibari delights- pizza, meat kebabs, coconut bread, grilled cassava, roasted corn. What goes well with the scrumptious food is the atmosphere of the place. It is something that MUST be experienced during a stay here!
This is an important part of the history of Zanzibar. There is an Anglican Church that now stands upon the old market place where slaves were brought and sold. Slavery was abolished in Zanzibar in 1873 but the Old Slave Market remains a UNESCO Heritage site.
Cheetah’s Rock is an accredited conservation non-profit organization that offers a safe space for wild animals. The founders describe the place as “Cheetah’s Rock is a unique place where people and animals interact directly – face to face, eye to eye, fur to skin.”So this is a place that allows one to be close to zebras, hyenas, lions, tigers, and of course, cheetahs. This is a unique experience that would be memorable for every wildlife lover.
The Rock is a restaurant serving world-class food in the middle of the Indian Ocean. Perched upon a rock in the ocean and offering unmatched views, a restaurant is a great place for romantic dinners and fun outings alike. It serves Mediterranean, African and European cuisines. It can be reached via boats.

Arrive at Zanzibar International Airport and transfer directly to your hotel in Stone Town. Since Stone Town is the cultural and historical hotspot of this archipelago, it will be your home for a few days.
After lunch, we start by exploring the Old Fort. It has been converted into a cultural center, so you can enjoy the live song and dance performances and shop local artifacts and have some Zanzibari snacks.
By the evening, we move on to Forodhani Market, which is known for its fun atmosphere and delicious food trucks. It is on the seaside, so you can watch the landscape as the stars come out.
We start with a guided tour of the UNESCO Heritage Site of Old Slaves Market. It is important to take a guide along to properly understand the history of this place as we do not have any signs to help us on this tour alone.
After lunch, we hop onto a boat and travel to Prison Island. You can explore the Island, see the Giant Tortoise or put on your diving gear and jump into the water.
After breakfast, we leave for Michamwi Beach for two days. Michamwi is a quiet, serene beach, with clean and gentle waters, making it ideal to swim. We check into a resort and spend the day leisurely on the beach.
In the evening, we go for dinner at The Rock. The setting is incredibly romantic. Have a fun evening!
We have a fun day planned for you! After an early breakfast, we head to Kizimkazi to swim with the dolphins. Kizimkazi is ideal for snorkeling too. Activities here take up to five hours, so we directly go for a scrumptious meal after! The afternoon will see you exploring Jozani. Keep your cameras ready, the red colobus monkeys here are not camera shy! Spend a quiet evening relaxing by the beach.
We finally head to Nungwi Beach! Check into your resort and spend some time relaxing after the packed day 4!
We spend the day in the water! Mnemba and Nungwi are known for their aquatic exploration opportunities so we don our diving gears and see the famed Zanzibari reefs up close.
Spend the rest of the day relaxing in your resort!
As we head back to Stone Town, we make one final stop at a Spice Garden. It takes around 2 hours to complete a tour, which ends in eating refreshing fruits.
We reach Stone Town and spend the last evening drinking coffee by the seaside and shopping.
We head to the airport to fly back!

There are fairly regular flights from many Indian Airports to Zanzibar. The major operators are Emirates and Qatar. The price varies from operator to operator when you book your tickets and the season in which you travel. The cost also depends on the number of days you wish to stay there, the category of hotels, and any extra place if you want to include in your itinerary. Accurate details can be given based on your specifications!
What is the best time to visit Zanzibar?
The most popular time to travel to the archipelago is between July and September, which is its dry season. However, except for the peak wet months of April and May, there is no bad time to visit Zanzibar!
Is it safe to swim in the seas of Zanzibar?
Zanzibar is known for its safe seas. Its seas are perfect for almost all swimmers because it has high tides almost all the time. It is protected by seaside reefs, which keep the inner waters safe.
Is Zanzibar safe for tourists?
Zanzibar is extremely safe for tourists. However, common precaution has to be exercised at all times, especially while sailing as there can be pirates lurking. Zanzibar is also safe for women. This is in part due to how a big portion of the economy depends on tourism, urging the government to take extra steps to ensure traveler safety.
Do Indians need Visa for Zanzibar?
Zanzibar offers Visa on arrival for Indian citizens.
How much expensive is Zanzibar?
Zanzibar is not very expensive but completely depends on your perspective. The cost of your Zanzibar tour package depends on several factors like the type of flight you choose, accommodation, the total number of days you want to spend there, sightseeing activities, and the type of restaurants you want to dine in. While customizing your package you will get to know about the entire cost of your Zanzibar trip.
Zanzibar, with its diverse and incredibly rich culture and history, and its sparkling, pristine white beaches, and clean, calm aqua waters, is a must for every person. Whether you are looking for Zanzibar Package Holidays from India, or whether you want to extend your Tanzania tour package, this archipelago should not be missed. Learn more about Zanzibar
Culture and customs.
The Zanzibar archipelago is an eclectic melting pot of cultures, customs and religions. Within the streets of Stone Town, you’ll find mosques and churches standing literally side by side. While Zanzibar is a primarily Muslim region, it shares a history of cultural influences that spread as far wide as the Middle East, India and ancient Persia. Previously a protectorate of Britain and officially a part of Tanzania since 1964, the archipelago has a long history of bureaucratic changes and tensions.
Currently, the population of Zanzibar is largely divided. Many still champion for independence from Tanzania and seek to have Zanzibar declared its own country. Despite their political differences, the discussion remains respectful between the locals. You are just as likely to see them passionately debating politics in town centers as you are to see tropical fruit farmers hawking their produce roadside all around the islands. But one thing everyone in Zanzibar has in common is their love of soccer. Head to any beach in the late afternoon and you are almost guaranteed to witness the locals coming together for a friendly game of beach soccer.
Eating and drinking
The variety of food in Zanzibar rivals anywhere in the world. It owes this entirely to its geography: being at the crossroads of ancient trade routes, the locals have picked up a thing or two about worldly cuisines. Whether it is yam and plantain-based dishes from the Bantu peoples of Eastern Africa, Indian inspired masala curries featuring many of the spices the island is famous for, or the sweet date and hazelnut bread is traditionally eaten to celebrate the end of Ramadan – you will be spoiled for choices to fill your plate! Unsurprisingly for an island, seafood takes pride of place in Zanzibar and seafood lovers will rejoice at the wide range of dishes available at restaurants and markets. An absolute must for anyone visiting Stone Town is the Forodhani night market. As soon as the sun sets each night, beachside Forodhani Park transforms into an open-air food market filled will vendors tempting you to try their dishes. Our pick is the Zanzibar pizza – filled with whatever fresh ingredients take your fancy at the time. Wash it all down with fresh coconut juice (direct from the coconut of course!)
Perhaps the most famous export from Zanzibar is its spices, including pepper, cinnamon and ginger to name a few. Visit a spice plantation to sample countless types of spices directly from the source. Don’t forget to pick up a selection from the local markets before you leave.
Zanzibar has a large Muslim population, so bear in mind that Ramadan is the fasting month for all Muslims. During this month, no food, drink or smoking is permitted during daylight hours. While non-Muslims aren't expected to fast, it's recommended to try to avoid eating, drinking or smoking in public during daylight hours.
Must-try foods in Zanzibar:
1. pweza wa nazi.
Octopus boiled in coconut milk to create a curry-based dish with cinnamon, cardamom, garlic and lime juice.
2. Barbecued lobster
Enjoy a lobster grilled to perfection at one of the many beachside eateries around the island.
3. Spice cake
A typical local dessert made using pastry with a mix of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and chocolate.
Geography and Environment
Zanzibar is an island province of Tanzania located off the coast of East Africa. Surrounded by the Indian Ocean on all fronts, it is covered mostly in lush rainforest and encircled by white beaches and coral reefs.
Zanzibar is actually an archipelago made up of many small islands and two prominent, main ones: Pemba Island and Unguja Island – the largest, often mistaken as ‘Zanzibar Island’, where the majority of the province’s population lives.
While there are various swanky stores in main hubs like Stone Town, specialising inexpensive trinkets and homewares, you simply can’t visit Zanzibar and not take an afternoon stroll through one of its lively, colourful markets. Lose yourself amongst the hustle of Darajini market in Stone Town, where you will find stores piled high with spices, vegetables, fabrics and dried snacks. The market is so jam-packed, stores often spill out into the tiny laneways nearby.
Things to buy in Zanzibar
Don’t leave the island without purchasing a selection of the many spices still grown on plantations today. Pepper, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg are among the islands’ specialities. But you can find almost every type of spice imaginable here!
2. Woven handicrafts
Pick up a handmade ukili bag, placemat, rug or even a sun hat. The locals have perfected this handicraft and are widely available throughout Zanzibar. A great way to support local initiatives and talent.
Festivals and events
Festival of the dhow countries .
The highlight of the Zanzibar International Film Festival, the Festival of the Dhow Countries is a cultural celebration of international film, music, theatre and performing arts. One of the biggest annual cultural festivals in Africa, it takes place over the first two weeks of July. Film screenings, exhibitions and craft classes are on offer during the day, while at night beach parties are a fun way to interact with locals.
Sauti Za Busara Festival
If you are lucky enough to visit Stone Town in early February you’ll be treated to a hypnotising swell of Swahili music and dance during this vibrant celebration of East African culture. The festival concludes with a beachside festival of crafts, cuisine and entertainment.

Plan A Trip To Zanzibar
The enchanting and unique archipelago of Zanzibar is located 35 kilometres (21.5 miles) off the coast of Tanzania in the Indian Ocean. It is made up of multiple islands, with Unguja and Pemba being the biggest two. Unguja is also known as Zanzibar Island. There are also about 50 additional tiny islands and stunning atolls. The main island of Zanzibar is only 95 km long and 40 km wide and it is ringed by coral reefs. Dook Travel’s interesting Zanzibar Packages crafted in a way that provide world-class diving and snorkelling in crystal clear waters. Zanzibar's past is both fascinating and complicated, as well as frequently brutal. The seasonal monsoon winds of the Indian Ocean have drawn traders, voyagers, pirates, explorers and visitors from all over the world to the shores of Zanzibar over the years. The history of the island of Zanzibar includes sultans, harems, wealth, spices, and a powerful commercial empire. However, the history of trade must be understood in the context of slavery and the widespread poaching of elephants across the continent of Africa. As a thriving trading center, Zanzibar attracted traders from the major civilizations of China, Persia and Arabia as well as from India, Europe and the continent of Africa. Zanzibar served as the hub of trade, culture, and civilization for all of East and Central Africa for centuries. Dook Travels’ Zanzibar Holiday Packages are customized and reasonably priced to get informed about the destination’s culture and civilization background. The Sultan of Oman actually relocated his court and headquarters from Muscat to Zanzibar in 1832 after conquering the island. Persian baths, luxurious harems, and spectacular homes and mosques were built during this time. To grow expensive spices like pepper, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla, cardamom, and cloves, plantations were created. In the nineteenth century, the huge slave trade, these spices, gold, and ivory from the tusks of elephants murdered on the continent of Africa pushed Zanzibar to extremes of luxury and human depravity. Zanzibar used to be known as the " Spice Island ," and it was a major supplier of cardamom, ginger, nutmeg, pepper, vanilla, cinnamon, and cloves to different parts of the world. These spices were initially brought in from South America and Asia, but they quickly took off in the tropical heat and fertile soil due to the mineral-rich soil. There are still a number of spice plantations on the island today, and one of the island's numerous attractions is a guided spice tour. The exciting Zanzibar Tour Packages designed by Dook International roam around spice plantation and see the fresh spices and seasonal fruit, first hand. Visitors also gain knowledge about the use of traditional remedies and spices in cookery. Here, spices that are typically only seen dried and crushed in glass jars are shown growing in their natural shapes and forms. Off the coast of Zanzibar, there are a number of excellent diving locations, including the stunning and well-known Mnemba Atoll, a marine park with some of Eastern Africa's best diving. All levels of divers, from beginners to experts, can benefit from diving in Zanzibar. Take advantage of the great Zanzibar Holiday Packages offer designed by Dook International right away! Aquatic life abounds in the warm, turquoise Indian Ocean, which boasts excellent visibility of up to 30 to 40 meters and well-preserved coral reefs. Both seasoned divers and snorkelers who are merely curious will find this area to be exciting. Aquatic life is abundant and absolutely fascinating to see for snorkelers and divers, including a variety of hard and soft coral, including brain coral, gorgonian fans and staghorn, barrel sponges, nudibranchs, large lobsters, clownfish, leopard rays, Moorish idols, parrot fish, large Napoleon wrasse, green turtles, dolphins, moray eels, octopus, and lionfish, to name a few. For experienced divers, deep-sea diving expeditions outside the reef may include seeing barracuda, reef sharks, manta rays, stingrays, and, with some luck, during certain seasons, even a whale shark. Dook Travels’ Zanzibar Tour offers a diverse range of Zanzibar Tour Packages for various categories of travellers. Learn about Selous Game Reserve, which has a total size of 54,600 km2 and is made up of lakes, rivers and deltas as well as undulating savannah and the world's highest concentration of elephants. The African elephant, African lion, Cape Buffalo and hippopotami are just a few of the animals you may expect to witness. One of the rare locations in the globe where it is possible to view wild dogs is the Selous, which is also a home for these canines. You should be aware that Zanzibar hosts three significant festivals every year. Hence there is no such reason why you shouldn't attend if you chance to be in the town for one. The first is a music festival with performers from all around Africa that takes place in February. Its name, " Sauti za busara ," translates to "sounds of knowledge." The regular location for this music festival is Stone Town. The Zanzibar International Film Event, which takes place in Zanzibar, is the most prominent film, music and art festival in East Africa . Here, some of east Africa's top performers in music and film are put on display for the world to witness on a large platform. Some of the events that take place here include musical concerts and awards ceremonies. Dook’s Zanzibar Packages are established taking into consideration the preference of the travellers making sure no corner of Zanzibar is left unattended. The musicians you can anticipate seeing are determined by the event's topic, which changes every year. Last but not least is the Zanzibar Beach and Watersports Festival, which typically takes place in September at Jambiani Beach. Numerous beach and water activities are featured during this festival. The highlight is a fantastic music event. With our Zanzibar Holiday Packages , discover this unspoiled island. The best romantic getaways and honeymoon suites in serene, upmarket hotels are available in our collection of Zanzibar Packages , along with family-friendly vacations at bigger beach resorts and opulent villa accommodations. Several variables affect the pricing, which varies. Zanzibar is also known as the ‘Spice Island’ due to the delicious variety of spices grown on the island’s many plantations.
Stone Town, a World Heritage Site, boasts a labyrinth of winding alleys, bustling marketplaces, beautifully carved wooden doors, breathtaking mosques and grand Arab residences. Another must-see attraction on Zanzibar includes the Jozani Forest Reserve – home to the rare Kirk’s red colobus monkey and Aders’ duiker. Off the north-eastern coast of Zanzibar is Mnemba Island – an idyllic private island featuring luxurious accommodation, breathtaking scenery and rich marine diversity.

Tanzania Tour Packages
Tanzania epitomizes and celebrates the incredible beauty of the African continent. A treasure trove of the most magnificent of nature’s marvels, its diversity helps it stand apart.
Tanzania is a land of contrasts. On one hand, Tanzania tours can take you on a wild safari, and on the other, they can offer you the chance to partake in an underwater adventure. At Veena World, you can explore the wide range of offerings for Tanzania tour packages from India, the itineraries of which have everything from Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing volcano in the world, to stunning beaches; from the exquisite handicrafts of the region to the genuine and warm hospitality of the natives. Most tourists on Tanzania packages come here to visit some of Africa's most famous national parks, and to witness the region’s natural attractions and thriving wildlife. Back in the ancient days, Tanzania was an important link in the trade route that extended from East Africa all the way to Persia.
On Tanzanian tours, you will be able to relax on the powdery beaches of the East African coast which was back then the seat of the sultans of the region. On Tanzania packages, after the greenery and coastline, the ice fields of Mt. Kilimanjaro come as an unexpected but pleasant surprise. The natural, ethnic, and cultural diversity makes Tanzania a complete destination that can be made all the more memorable when you choose Tanzania tour packages from India by Veena World. With specially curated itineraries, Veena World takes the utmost care in ensuring that all Tanzania tours booked with us are all about capturing the true essence of this magnificent country.

Starts from, get to know more about tanzania before booking your tour packages.
Tanzania, officially known as the United Republic of Tanzania, is the largest country in East Africa and is known as the land of the Kilimanjaro, Zanzibar, and Serengeti. It borders Uganda to the north, Kenya to the northeast, the Comoro Islands in the Indian Ocean to the east, Mozambique and Malawi to the south, Zambia to the southwest, and Rwanda, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west.
Booking Tanzania tour packages from Mumbai, etc., you will be able to explore quite a diverse range of geographical terrains. It has mountains, plateaus, volcanoes, lakes, plains among others. In the 19th century, Tanzania came under the Omani sultanate and in the later years, the region became a part of Portuguese and British colonies. On 29 October 1964, Tanzania officially became the United Republic of Tanzania.
Tanzania takes pride in the fact that it is home to more than 120 ethnic groups, from the red-cloaked Maasai warriors to the semi-nomadic Barabaig community. It is one of most ethnically, culturally, linguistically, and geographically diverse countries in the world, as you shall discover on a Tanzania tour package.
Veena World offers a diverse range of options in itineraries for all kinds of travellers. You can choose based on your budget, the number of days you plan to visit, and on the destinations that you want to cover. We have Tanzania tour packages from Mumbai and other major cities in India, so you can choose one according to your preferences.
Experience Tanzania
When you think of Tanzania holiday packages, the first thing that may strike your mind is perhaps the vast savannas, an expanse of tall grass with wild animals roaming about merrily. While it may be said that the reality of Tanzanian tours is not unlike this picture of pure nature, that is not all that you will be able to experience with the right Tanzania tour packages from India. You can head off to Mafia Island as well, which offers you the chance to go on a scuba diving experience, or you can opt to stay a night in an underwater hotel room. This is a destination that has myriad colours to offer you when you book a Tanzania tour package. Regardless of what kind of vacation you are looking for, Veena World promises to offer you just what you need. Apart from the range of specially curated itineraries, you also have the option to customize your vacation with Veena World. So, you can simply book a Tanzania tour package and prepare for a worry-free trip!
It may be said that a great determiner of the success of any Tanzania trip package is the hospitality of the people of the land and when it comes to Tanzania, you can rest assured you have nothing to worry about. The natives of Tanzania are a warm and welcoming population, with whom you would feel at home. When you book your Tanzanian travel package, you should also be ready to dispel many preconceived notions you may have had. If you thought Tanzania is an extremely hot and dry area, the beautiful weather at Zanzibar would surprise you. If you thought Tanzania is all about the jungles, you just need to look towards Mafia Island. And if you only remembered Mt Kilimanjaro as a volcano, its ice fields would definitely astound you. Tanzania invites travellers to unlearn their past notions as they explore the real landscapes of the destination. Why wait? Book your Tanzania packages from India for a vacation you won’t soon forget!
Things to Do in Tanzania

- Mount Kilimanjaro: May travellers book their Tanzania tour package to catch a glimpse of the majestic Mt Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak. A visit to the one million years old volcano also offers you the chance to climb up to the snow-capped summit, which is an experience that won’t fade. - Serengeti National Park: This national park attracts scores of wildlife photographers, wildlife enthusiasts, and nature lovers from all across the globe. Also, not to be missed are the spectacular views of the summit of Naabi Hill.
- Zanzibar: It is as if the surprises on a Tanzania package never end. The beaches at Zanzibar, also known as Unguja, are scintillating, to say the least. The islands of Zanzibar and Pemba are part of the Zanzibar archipelago. The soft to the touch, powdery beaches are among the best attractions on a Tanzania tour package from India. A far cry from the glitz and glamour of the beaches is Zanzibar’s Stone Town, which seems to have come from another era. The St Joseph’s Cathedral, Old Fort, and the intriguing streets and alleys all come together for an enriching experience. Zanzibar is the perfect place to experience the Swahili culture on your Tanzania travel package.
- Ngorongoro Conservation Area: The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is like a postcard destination. It is located between the Serengeti National Park and Lake Manyara. This protected area is home to the volcanic crater of Ngorongoro and thousands of animals that have made it their home owing to the permanent supply of fresh water.
