About Daytrippers

Welcome to our 20th summer of Daytrippers. Our camp takes many children from different schools in the Aventura/Hollywood/Davie area as well as international children and make them into a family for life. 

Due to covid, last year we ran an amazing, safe and different style of camp. We stayed on campus every day and  wore masks while doing  amazing activities daily with the top professionals in the area in each program. Some of the things we offered were ; pro sports and fitness training, recreational games, art, crafts, Hip Hop, food creation, stem and other amazing outside programs. The feedback from our campers and parents was overwhelmingly positive as our campers couldn’t wait to get back to camp each day and we were their only normalcy and bright light during these strange difficult times. 

Our typical summer program consists of competitive and recreational sports and swim daily and going on two daily trips. Our campers love lunch as we go to restaurants 3 times a week. Our favorite optional trips include a 3 day/2 night trip to Orlando and a 2 day/1 night trip to Busch Gardens Our camp travels on brand new AC limo buses and supply snacks and water daily. The staff/camper ratio is better than any camp and all of our staffs background is checked. Many of our staff members are former Daytrippers whom return year after year and all are CPR and 1st Aid Certified.

We do not know which camp model we will run this summer due to the pandemic, but have a feeling that we might combine both models to make it the best and safest summer for our kids.
