Day 1 Cairo

Salaam Alaikum! Welcome to Egypt.

A buzzing metropolis, home to at least 19 million people, Cairo gives you a great feel for Egyptian streetlife. It’s busy – almost frantic – and among the hustle and bustle, it’s an exciting blend of old world and new. Arabs call this city Umm al-Dunya (the mother of the world). There are many beautiful mosques to visit, like the Mohammed Ali Mosque in the Citadel. Or head to the oldest part of Cairo, the Babylon Fortress, to see ancient ruins. For stunning panoramic views of the capital, go up the 187-metre-high Cairo Tower.

Try some street food – lamb shawarma, anyone? – or get a taste of Egyptian street life by visiting a cafe. Sit in an ahwa and sip traditional mint tea. The shisha pipe can be found in many ahwas and restaurants across Cairo.

Arrival airport transfers are included as part of your package. You will be met upon arrival at the airport and transferred to your hotel.

If Inspiring Vacations has not provided your international airfares, please ensure you provide your flight details via your Traveller Hub portal no later than 90 days prior to travel so that your transfers can be confirmed.

Please note: if you are arriving early and have made your own arrangements prior to your tour commencing, airport transfers will not be included. However, if you are purchasing pre-nights accommodation as part of your Inspiring Vacations package, airport transfers will still be provided to the starting hotel.

Day 2 Cairo

This morning, meet your guide and head out to see some of the world’s most iconic sights – the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx. Explore these structures that have stood tall for some 4,500 years and learn about the ancient history of the monuments. The oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain largely intact, the pyramids are a sight to behold.

Afterwards, we visit the Egyptian Museum, home to one of the world's great collections of antiquities. Wander the treasure-filled halls of the museum, a highlight of which is the masses of gleaming artefacts recovered from the tomb of Tutankhamun.

Day 3 Cairo Luxor

Today, enjoy a free day at leisure.

Later this afternoon you'll be transferred to the airport to board your included flight to Luxor.

Join a local guide to get in touch with Cairo's Islamic heart. From backstreet bazaars to minaret-topped mosques, and neighbourhood coffee houses, these are the places that make Egypt's sprawling capital what it is. We will visit Sultan Hassan mosque and Madrasa, the finest piece of early Mamluk architecture in Cairo. It was built between 1356 and 1363 by Sultan Hassan then we will enjoy a walk in Moez street starting form Bab el Fetouh and we will end our Adventure in Khan El Khalili Bazaar. A labyrinth of narrow streets and passageways, Khan el-Khalili is one of the world’s largest bazaars and offers a truly authentic local Cairo experience.

Please note: the start and duration times outlined are subject to change based on factors beyond our control such as traffic and weather conditions. Your Tour Guide will confirm operation times with you whilst on-tour and can answer any further questions you may have.

Starts: 8:30am End: 3:30pm Inclusions: private transportation, private guide

Day 4 Luxor Embark on Nile Cruise

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel then we'll explore the magnificent Karnak Temple, which is perhaps the most impressive of all the ancient pharaohs' monumental works. One of the world's most celebrated temple complexes, Karnak was built over some 200 years and was once known as the 'Chosen of Places'. Your guided tour of this vast temple of impressive pylons, obelisks and chapels will reveal its finest sections, such as the Avenue of Sphinxes and the Great Temple of Amun.

Then it’s time to embark on your luxury Nile cruise that will be home for the next 4 nights. You’ll cruise between Luxor and Aswan on this elegant ship, with all the comforts you would expect from a 5-star floating hotel.

Please note that since the sailing distance between Luxor and Aswan is approximately 200kms, that it is typical for all cruises operated along the Nile to be docked for majority of the time to conduct sightseeing, with the sailing to occur of an evening. The vessel will be docked either in Luxor or Aswan. Depending on the time of year and number of vessels operating at the same time, you will also find that all vessels are docked beside one another, which is beyond our control.

To ensure that our customers have appropriate expectations prior to their journey, it is important not to compare this experience to that of a European River Cruise, which tend to cover a greater distance and on larger vessels. Instead, you will experience a Deluxe stay on-board your vessel, offering a great chance to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the banks of the Nile while you sit back and relax. Your cruise schedule will be provided once on-board.

Situated on the East Bank of the Nile River, in the city of Luxor, Luxor Temple was built approximately 1400 BC. The site is over 73 sq km and exhibits obelisks, giant statues, an Avenue of Sphinx statues, the Grand colonnade and the Barque Shrine of Theban Triad. Viewing is as majestic at night as it is during the day.

Start: 4:00pm End: 6:00pm Inclusions: return transfers to temple, entrance into Luxor Temple

Day 5 Luxor Valley of the Kings Luxor Edfu

Today we'll discover some of the many wonders of ancient Thebes. Our first stop is the Colossi of Memnon – two 17-metre-high statues on Luxor's west bank. Carved from granite blocks, they represent the Pharaoh Amenhotep III and were once part of an impressive colonnade.

Continue on to the spectacular royal burial site of the Valley of the Kings. Buried under the arid hills here are the tombs of more than 60 pharaohs, many richly decorated with reliefs and paintings. Explore this sprawling and spectacular place with your guide, where the pharaohs of the New Kingdom (16th to 11th century BCE) were secretly interred for all eternity, and where archaeological discoveries are still being made. Your guide will explain the history of and legends surrounding these remarkable people, their funerary rites, and the significance of the many paintings and hieroglyphics, still well-preserved in the deepest tombs.

After paying a visit to three of the most interesting royal tombs we'll continue to the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a stunning colonnaded building of sharp lines that contrasts beautifully against the craggy high cliffs behind it, creating a spectacular natural amphitheatre. One of Egypt’s greatest queens, this temple was built to prove her importance among the ancestors.

Enjoy lunch upon your return to the boat. There is time to relax on deck, or in your cabin, before we set sail for Edfu. Generally the journey from Luxor to Edfu takes place between 1pm an 11 pm, though the departure time may vary, depending on river traffic. En route to Edfu we pass through the Esna Lock and head upstream.

Edfu Temple Please note: The only mode of transport available to visit the Temple of Edfu is by locally managed horse and carriages. As a responsible travel-focused business, animal welfare is extremely important to us and we want to ensure that we are not promoting any activities where the working animals are not properly cared for. Unfortunately, some operators of the Horse and Carriages have been found to be in breach of our animal welfare guidelines and it is, for this reason, we will no longer include the visit to the Temple of Edfu.

In addition to the animal welfare concerns, we have had a substantial amount of feedback suggesting that the experience itself is quite uncomfortable due to the pushy nature of the vendors and local suppliers outside the site. While we recommend that you do not use the horse and carriage to visit the Temple, the decision is ultimately up to you. Edfu is an included port stop on the Nile River cruise schedule.

Day 6 Edfu Kom Ombo Aswan

Today we will moor near Edfu – home to ancient settlements and temples, as well as a bustling town centre and a bazaar.

Later we'll return to the boat where we’ll continue travelling upriver, with plenty of free time for relaxing on the sundeck and taking in the surrounding sights – from fishermen casting nets and farmers working their land to the desert hills that frame the lush riverbanks.

This afternoon we'll arrive at Kom Ombo Temple. Set dramatically on the bank of the Nile, 47 kilometres north of Aswan and 168 kilometres south of Luxor, the soaring, chunky columns of the double temple are a magnificent sight to behold as you arrive from the river.

Dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris, the temple's finely carved reliefs give a sense of this area's prominence as capital over the surrounding region during the Ptolemaic era. Today, Kom Ombo may be a sleepy agricultural backwater surrounded by sugar cane fields, but its prime position along the Nile meant it was once one of Upper Egypt's most important centres. Wander through the temple's colonnades, gazing up at scenes of kingly propaganda, and you'll get a sense of this rich history for yourself.

Return to the cruise boat where you’ll continue travelling upriver towards Aswan.

Please note: the only mode of transport available to visit the Temple of Edfu is by locally managed horses and carriages. As a business that seeks to promote responsible travel, animal welfare is extremely important to us at Inspiring Vacations, and unfortunately, some operators of the horse and carriages have been found to be in breach of our animal welfare guidelines. It is for this reason we do not include the visit the Edfu Temple. While we recommend that you do not use the horse and carriage to visit the Temple, the decision is ultimately up to you and your guide can help arrange transport and ensure the best horses are used.

Day 7 Aswan Abu Simbel Aswan

Today you will awake before sunrise for an early morning start. Sit back and relax as you drive to the ancient Abu Simbel temples, near the southern Egyptian border. You will have an early arrival into Abu Simbel to view one of the most incredible sights you will see. The two enormous sandstone structures were built in the 1200s BCE by Ramses II to serve as lasting monuments to himself and his favourite wife Nefertari. The larger temple, dedicated to three major Egyptian deities, features four large statues of Ramses II on its façade, while the smaller temple is dedicated to the goddess of love, Hathor, with statues designed to embody Nefertari.

Set on the banks of the artificial Lake Nasser, the structures were once in danger of being flooded with the construction of the Aswan High Dam but were saved via an extensive project to cut the temples into pieces and move them to higher ground, where they are seen today.

On our return to Aswan the rest of the day is free for you to make your own discoveries.

This afternoon, we'll enjoy a sailboat ride around the Nile River islands in a traditional felucca (a small, traditional Egyptian sailboat).

Philae Temple is situated on an island just south of Aswan. It was built by the last dynasty of ancient Egypt, the Ptolemaic. The temple is dedicated to Isis - the goddess of healing, magic and birth, her husband Osiris and their son Horus.

Take a 20-minute drive from Aswan to the dock, where you will embark on a 20-minute boat ride to Agilkia Island, where the Philae Temple complex is located. You will have approximately 2 hours exploring the island and temple before returning to Aswan by boat and road vehicle.

Start: pending Cairo to Aswan flight  Duration: 3 hours Inclusions: return transportation (boat and road vehicle) from Aswan to Agilkia Island, entrance into Philae Temple complex

Day 8 Aswan Cairo

Today we will leave Aswan and make the short flight back to Cairo. On our return to Cairo enjoy your free time relaxing or doing some last-minute sightseeing.

Sit down for a home-cooked meal with a local family. During this experience, you'll get to visit a local family and learn about Middle Eastern traditions, Egyptian culture and tasty food but most importantly, enjoy a delicious and authentic home cooked meal.

Start: confirmed on tour Duration: 3 hours Inclusions: return transportation, home cooked meal

Day 9 Cairo Amman

Today, say goodbye to your Egyptian tour leader and get ready for the next leg of your journey as you are transferred to the airport for your flight to Amman, Jordan. Welcome to Jordan, cosmopolitan and contemporary, yet steeped in biblical history. On arrival at Amman's Queen Alia International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. You will meet your Jordanian tour leader today.

Day 10 Amman Jerash Amman

After breakfast enjoy a tour of this capital city. Cosmopolitan and contemporary, yet steeped in ancient biblical history, Amman is a bit of a chameleon. Most of the city's historical sites are located downtown. Here we'll visit the Citadel, with remains from the Roman to the early Islamic period; the Jordan Archaeological Museum, which houses the oldest Neolithic statues dating from 8000 to 5000 NC, as well as other valuable artifacts; the souq, where we'll get an idea of everyday life; as well as the beautifully restored 2nd-century Roman Theatre.

Next we'll take a short drive (approximately one-hour) north to Jerash. Once one of the grandest ancient Roman cities in the world, Jerash now boasts some of the best Greco-Roman ruins around. Admire this site's striking collection of crumbling archways, theatres, baths, public buildings and colonnaded streets. Grand columns encircle the city's centrepiece, the Oval Plaza, a wonderfully atmospheric place to linger after exploring this ruined city's lasting riches.

Day 11 Amman Petra

Today marks the beginning of our journey towards the fabled site of Petra. En route we'll visit Madaba, an ancient market town that's home to a number of fine Byzantine mosaics, the most outstanding of which lies within Saint George's Greek Orthodox Church. Here, a map of the Holy Land once carpeted the whole floor, said to contain more than two million pieces. Crafted around 560 CE, a large swathe of this mosaic map can still be viewed, providing the oldest map of Palestine in existence.

Next we'll continue to the ancient village at Dana, on the edge of the Dana Biosphere Reserve, where local artisans sell silver jewellery.

Later, we'll drive along the King's Highway, up to Shobak Castle, sometimes known as Montreal. Perched at the top of a hill in the desert, this ancient Crusader castle was originally built to protect the eastern flank of the Latin Kingdom and its trade routes to the sea before it fell to Muslim sultan Saladin in 1189. Stroll the site and discover a small chapel, original gatehouse, and find out where a long, dark secret passage leads.

Day 12 Petra

Get ready for Petra! A firm fixture on most bucket lists for good reason – the jewel of Jordan is an arresting sight. The so-called Rose City boasts an impressive series of tombs, caves and temples hidden behind ornate façades carved directly into the rock. No one knows the exact date of this desert kingdom's creation, but the lost city of the Nabateans is believed to date as far back as the 2nd century CE. The city has lain empty and unknown for centuries, only rediscovered in 1812 by a Swiss explorer.

You'll feel just like Indiana Jones, as you meander through the narrow canyon known as the Siq; at times the path measures only a few metres wide, with walls soaring up to 180 metres on either side of you. It's easy to imagine the armies and merchants who made their way here many years ago, and the sense of awe they too must have felt upon reaching this ancient rock-hewn kingdom, surrounded by such a stark landscape. The Siq is the main entranceway to The Treasury – perhaps Petra's most iconic sight, and one of its most elaborate temples.

Petra's greatest surprise, however, is its size. With our guide we'll explore the old Roman road, the amphitheatre and several tombs. We'll also climb up to the beautiful façade of the Monastery, from where you will have a magnificent view of the entire site.

Exploring this truly extraordinary destination is sure to be a highlight of your trip.

Day 13 Petra Wadi Rum

We continue to Wadi Rum and browse around the excellent and informative visitor's centre. We'll visit several of Wadi Rum's distinctive rock formations and soak in the vast silence, towering sandstone mountains and spectacular desert landscapes of this surreal 'Valley of the Moon', where, the wind-sculpted rock formations change in hue throughout the day.

We'll also meet with local Bedouins, who live in scattered camps throughout the area, and ride camels to our traditional Bedouin tent, situated deep within the valley. We'll enjoy an evening with them at one of their camps, savouring the hospitality of these nomadic peoples and the uninterrupted desert panoramas.

Wadi Rum is probably best known for its connection with the enigmatic British army officer TE Lawrence, who was based here during the Great Arab Revolt of 1917-18. Much of David Lean's movie on his exploits, Lawrence of Arabia , was actually filmed in this very region.

Please note - While we are sure that this experience will inspire you, please be aware that your stay will differ from that of a traditional hotel. There are no hotels in or near Wadi Rum: the only places to sleep are the numerous bedouin-run camps dotted around the desert. The camps that we use are quoted as being 'luxury' because their locations differ from other styles of camps and your tent will have its own ensuite. Even at the best and more 'luxurious' camps, bathroom facilities within the tents are somewhat rudimentary and the bedding can also be quite basic, however still offering you a comfortable nights' accommodation. All of your meals are included and will be served in a common social area. While we may not make it sound glamorous, it will be a unique and memorable experience.

Day 14 Wadi Rum Dead Sea Amman

After waking up in the unique environment of the luxury camp this morning, we'll enjoy a walk around the area before scaling one of the large dunes to enjoy sensational views of the surrounding area; keen photographers will be delighted. We'll then ride camels back across the Wadi Rum desert.

Later, we'll drive for approximately an hour and a half to reach a radically different landscape – the Dead Sea. We'll spend the afternoon on the shores of this famous body of water, named for the dearth of life in its waters. The saline water has a high density that keeps bathers buoyant and makes getting underneath the surface very difficult. Floating on the surface without any sort of lilo makes for a once in a lifetime experience. Afterwards we'll return to Amman for the evening.

Day 15 Amman Istanbul

Today, get ready for the next leg of your journey as you are transferred to the airport for your flight to Istanbul, Turkey.

On arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. The rest of your day is at leisure.

Please note - today is unescorted. You will meet your Turkey tour leader and fellow travellers tomorrow prior to your Istanbul city tour.

Day 16 Istanbul

After a morning at leisure, enjoy a fully guided tour of the only city to span two continents, visiting the Blue Mosque, St Sophia Museum, Topkapi Palace and the Hippodrome.

We follow in the footsteps of the city’s most famous ruler, Sultan Ahmed, and head to the district of Sultanahmet, within Istanbul's old city. The historic centre of Istanbul, here you'll explore the legacy of the Greek, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman empires.

Take in the majesty of the sixth-century Hagia Sophia, whose stunning construction is said to have changed the history of architecture. When not erecting splendid buildings, the Byzantine Emperors loved a bit of entertainment and the Hippodrome of Constantinople was their stadium. Inspect some of the decorative statues and obelisks that remain, harking back to a time when this space would play host to thousands of chariot racing fans. Witness the majesty of the Blue Mosque before enjoying the evening at leisure to further explore Istanbul.

Day 17 Istanbul Ankara Cappadocia

After breakfast we drive towards the nation's capital, Ankara to visit Anitkabir, the Mausoleum of the famed Mustafa Kemal Ataturk before continuing on to the surreal landscape of Cappadocia.

Day 18 Cappadocia

Marvel at the lunar landscape of Cappadocia today as we visit the Goreme Valley Open Air Museum and the fairy chimneys, and explore the many levels of an underground city. Photo opportunities are everywhere so have your cameras ready! Tonight, don't miss the optional Turkish folklore evening featuring folklore and belly dancers... a night you won't forget!

Optional Tour: Hot Air Ballooning Early birds have the option of taking a hot air balloon over the surreal Cappadocian landscape. The scene at sunrise is sure to take your breath away. Please note, this activity can only be booked locally. Please speak to your tour leader on day one to organise this (approximate cost EUR200-300pp).

Day 19 Cappadocia Sultanhani Caravansary Konya

Leaving Cappadocia we head south, towards Konya, along the ancient Silk Road, visiting Sultanhani Caravansary, just as the ancient traders did. Once in Konya we tour the Mevlana Museum, the mausoleum of Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi and Alaeddin Mosque.

Day 20 Konya Sagalassos Pamukkale

Today we head for Pamukkale and it's calcium travertines. Along the way we visit the ancient site of Sagalassos. Conquered by Alexander the Great in 333 BC, earthquakes and plague saw its demise in 541-2. Today it is one of the best preserved sites in Turkey and is on the UNESCO World Heritage list.

Day 21 Pamukkale Kusadasi

We head to the magnificent white calcium terraces, known as Travertines, in Pamukkale where we also tour the ancient city of Hierapolis. Take a dip, amongst ancient columns, in the hot springs that were used in Roman times for their therapeutic Powers.

Day 22 Kusadasi Ephesus Istanbul

Absorb yourself in history today with a guided tour of Ephesus and a visit to the site of the Temple of Artemis. Feel the mystical atmosphere of the ancient city and theatre before continuing to the former Greek village of Sirince, famous for its fruit wines. Carpet weaving has long traditions in Turkey and at the carpet village we learn how the carpets are made by hand and what determines their value.

Day 23 Istanbul

At the appropriate time, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.

Important Information

Fitness Requirements While the tour itinerary should give you some guidance and overview to the expected requirements, to determine if this tour is right for you we categorise each of our tours in terms of their intensity. These guidelines are to ensure that each tour group is conducted as expected and to ensure the overall satisfaction of all Inspiring Vacations customers.

As a general rule, porterage is not included, therefore at all times you are expected to handle your own luggage where help may not be available.

This particular tour is categorised as a “3”.

3 – Moderate Tour: A good level of fitness and mobility is required, as this tour includes a moderate level of physical activity and is considered a medium-fast paced tour. You should be able to walk up and down stairs, get on and off the coach and able to walk reasonable distances of approximately 2 kilometres per day or more with ease. Any physical ailments you may have must be disclosed at the time of booking to determine your suitability. If you have any form of walking aids, other than a walking stick or hiking poles, then this tour is not suitable.

Tipping A friendly reminder that tipping is not included in your package. You will be asked to provide tipping to your guide towards a ‘kitty’, which is then used towards the guide tipping for the services of helpers, hotel staff, restaurants and airport porterage. We suggest USD$5 (AUD$7 approx) per person per day towards the kitty. Please note that this tipping is not for the guide, merely for the guide to tip the services of the driver and local workers during your tour. While not made compulsory, if you choose not to contribute to the kitty it means that the guide is tipping for these services out of their own pocket. Your cooperation in this instance is most appreciated.

Tipping for your guide will be collected at the commencement or conclusion of their services in each country. To remove the uncertainty and stress of not knowing how much is appropriate to tip we recommend USD$6-8 (AUD$8-12 approx) per person per day. The amount you wish to contribute is dependent on the services received and at the complete discretion of the guest. Thank you for your understanding.

Start your morning with a visit to the elaborate Topkapi Palace, former residence of the sultans of the Ottoman Empire. Wander its sprawling grounds and intricately decorated halls, then sit down to a filling lunch at a local restaurant.

Later, journey to the streets of Istanbul’s fascinating Sultanahmet neighbourhood. Discover the area’s charm on a guided walk through the Hippodrome – once an ancient Roman circus and the lively heart of Constantinople – witness the grandeur of the Blue Mosque and its six soaring minarets, and admire the silhouette of the magnificent Hagia Sophia – a mind-bending 6th-century Byzantine mosque.

This evening, follow the comforting aromas to the Spice Bazaar and lose yourself amongst the fragrant stalls.

Visit the fascinating Jordan Archaeological Museum for a closer look at Jordan’s antique history, take in panoramic views from the top of one of Amman’s seven jabals (hills) and make your way back down to the colossal Roman Theatre.

Continue with a visit to Jerash, an ancient city founded by Alexander the Great, to marvel at its remarkable Greco-Roman ruins. Walk the Roman Cardo, viewing grooves made by chariot wheels, and visit the city’s ampitheatre, temples and vast Roman Forum. Jerash was once known as the ‘City of One Thousand Pillars.’ It was hidden for centuries beneath desert sand before being excavated and restored, and it’s now considered one of the best-preserved Roman provincial towns in the world.

Return to Amman and enjoy a festive dinner at a local restaurant.

Travel time: Driving – approx. 90 minutes

Set off this morning for the legendary Mount Nebo, where Moses was said to have seen the promised land and later laid to rest. Continue to Madaba to see the spectacular mosaic map of this Holy Land embedded within the floor of the Greek Orthodox Church. Travel towards 12th-century Shobak Castle, strategically built on top of a small hill northeast of the town of the same name. The site is filled with interesting features: baths, cisterns, rainwater pipes and millstones.

Later, make your way to Petra, a most magnificent ancient city, where you’ll check into your hotel for the evening.

Travel time: Driving – approx. four hours

Strike out after breakfast toward the magnificent ruins of Petra, the ancient capital of the Nabateans. Spend a full day exploring this UNESCO World Heritage-listed site, passing through the Siq to view the majestic Treasury, the Temple of the Winged Lions and the Palace Tomb. Once a rich merchant city and a stop for camel caravans bringing spices, silk and slaves from Arabia to the Mediterranean, Petra was lost for 1,000 years, emerging from antiquity in 1812 when it was rediscovered by the Swiss explorer Johann Ludwig Burckhardt.

Spend the night at a local resort, surrounded by antiquity.

After breakfast, enjoy another day of exploration, focusing on Little Petra, an area of ruins filled with old tombs, water containers and channels that directly connects to Petra via the Siq Al Bared canyon.

Later, depart for Wadi Rum — the Valley of the Moon — which, with its immense size, colour and awe-inspiring shapes, creates an almost supernatural atmosphere. Travel by SUV vehicles driven by local Bedouins who will show you the Lawrence of Arabia Spring, small villages and notable ruins along the way. Tonight, experience a traditional nomadic dinner and stargazing at your comfortable desert camp.

Travel time: Driving – approx. two hours

Enjoy a full buffet breakfast at your desert camp before departing for the Dead Sea. One of the planet’s most spectacular destinations, the Dead Sea is not only the lowest point on Earth – its surface sits at 400 metres below sea level – but it’s also considered one of the world’s most spiritually profound landscapes, filled with dramatic, natural wonders. Restorative saline waters and mineral-rich mud are certain to leave your skin feeling silky smooth.

The ancient Romans once prized the region for its abundance of natural bitumen, which occasionally floated to the top of the water like a supernatural gift. Spend the rest of your day floating effortlessly in the buoyant blue waters of this tranquil oasis, just steps from your resort. This evening, enjoy a hearty dinner at your hotel.

Rise early and depart for Salt, historically a vital Ottoman Empire trading post between the eastern and western deserts. Follow the town’s storied ‘Harmony Trail,’ moving from Al Hammam street (named for an important Turkish bathhouse once located there), Bait Abu Jaber and Madafat Al Khalili for a glimpse into two of the city’s oldest preserved mansions. Enjoy lunch in Salt before continuing to Amman, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Jordanian cooking class and dinner to celebrate your final evening in the Kingdom.

Travel time: Driving – approx. one hour

After one final breakfast in Jordan, transfer to the airport for your international flight to Cairo.

Ahlan wa sahlan! The grandeur and glory of Egypt await as you arrive at Cairo International Airport (CAI). Steeped in ancient mystery and buzzing with modern vibrancy, cosmopolitan Cairo is a city alive with culture. Fed by the lifeline of the glittering Nile, Egypt’s capital is known as the ‘City of a Thousand Minarets’ thanks to its spectacular collection of preserved Islamic Caliphate architecture.

After transferring to your hotel, enjoy the rest of your day at leisure before enjoying a welcome meeting and dinner at a delightful local restaurant.

Travel time: Flight – approx. 90 minutes

Gather your energy with a delicious breakfast before being transferred to Cairo Airport (CAI) for your included flight to Luxor (LXR), formerly known as Thebes. Often described as the world’s greatest open-air museum, Luxor is a true archaeological wonderland. Transfer to your river cruise ship, the MS Nile Premium, and take a moment to explore the vessel’s world-class amenities, including a panoramic bar, onboard pub, pool and fitness centre.

As evening falls, retire to your cabin or recline beneath the stars on deck as you drift lazily along the Nile.

Travel time: Flight – approx. one hour

After breakfast onboard the MS Nile Premium, disembark for a tour of the remarkable Luxor Temple, near-perfectly preserved and filled with sphinxes, obelisks and pharaonic statues. Walking through the remnants of much-fabled ancient Thebes, wander down the Avenue of Sphinxes before continuing to the expansive Karnak Temple Complex, where over 18,000 ancient statues have been found.

After lunch onboard, cross to the west bank of the Nile to visit the legendary Valley of the Kings. Majestic and meticulously constructed, the tombs of the pharaohs found here have fascinated archaeologists for over a hundred years, and remain an integral part of Egypt’s millennia-old history. Be drawn to the mesmerising Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, set low against the surrounding cliffs, before passing the famed Colossi of Memnon, built to depict King Amenhotep III in a resting position and known for the mournful sounds they’re said to make at dawn.

Back aboard, indulge in a well-earned evening meal as you sail onward to new wonders.

After breakfast, spend the morning exploring Egypt’s largest and best-preserved pharaonic temple – the Temple of Horus at Edfu. Built to venerate Horus, god of the sun – later identified by the Greeks as Apollo – the site is a breathtaking glimpse into Hellenistic Egypt.

Continue to the ancient agricultural settlement of Kom Ombo. Take your time strolling through the charming village, positioned on a bend in the river where sacred crocodiles once basked in the sun. Central to Kom Ombo is the unique double temple, dedicated to both Sobek, the crocodile god of fertility, and Haroeris, the falcon god of the sky. Wonder at the detailed inscriptions throughout the remains, then return to your vessel to spend the rest of the evening at leisure.

Following breakfast aboard, set out to explore fantastical Aswan. Witness the enormity of the Aswan High Dam, constructed with support from UNESCO to help protect the ancient monuments in danger of flooding. Visit the island of Agilika for a glimpse at its countless historic sites, painstakingly relocated during the construction of the nearby dam. Enjoy a ride onboard a traditional felucca sailboat around Elephantine Island, before continuing to the island of Philae for a visit to the Isis Temple Complex, once dedicated to the ancient mother goddess.

After one more buffet breakfast out on the waters of the Nile, set off for jaw-dropping Abu Simbel. A UNESCO World Heritage-listed complex hewn entirely out of stone, Abu Simbel was constructed under the command of Ramses II – one of Egypt’s longest-ruling pharaohs – and stands as one of the most enduring symbols of Egypt. Wander through the two mighty temples, including the Great Temple of Ra-Harakhty – flanked by massive statues and dedicated to Queen Nefertari.

These magnificent temples were moved in the 1960s when the creation of Lake Nasser threatened their existence. Organised by UNESCO, the relocation of these structures remains one of the greatest feats of preservation in history.

Later, return to Aswan and take a flight back to Cairo where you’ll be transferred to your comfortable accommodation for the evening.

Today, experience one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World with a pilgrimage to the extraordinary pyramids.

The Pyramids of Giza are the only present-day survivors among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, built over 4,500 years ago as giant tombs for Pharaohs Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure. Truly monumental in scale, the largest of these ancient structures – the Great Pyramid – is estimated to have taken over two million blocks to complete.

Nearby rests the enigmatic Sphinx, watchful guardian of the colossal funerary monuments. About a thousand years after its construction, a young prince had a dream in which the Sphinx promised him the title of Pharaoh if he cleared the sand from the statue. See the story for yourself, carved on the famed Dream Stele set between the Sphinx’s great paws.

Return to Cairo and pay a visit to the Egyptian Museum and wander through 7,000 years of history as you peruse the world’s largest collection of ancient Egyptian art. Explore the many priceless antiquities with your guide and uncover the treasures of Tutankhamun, from his golden mask to his solid gold sarcophagus and regal throne. Continue to the Coptic neighbourhood of Cairo’s Old Town to walk its storied streets, then finish your tour at the Citadel of Cairo, a medieval fortress perched high on limestone hills above Cairo. Built in the 12th century to protect the city from crusaders, today the citadel complex houses various historic sites, including the National Military Museum and the Great Mosque of Muhammad Ali.

Savour one more breakfast, then collect your luggage and depart for Cairo International Airport (CAI). Say goodbye to Egypt’s dazzling treasures and colourful culture as your journey comes to a close.

Departure & Transfers:

Checkout on your final day is at 10am. Please book your flights to depart from Cairo International Airport (CAI) at any time. Airport transfers are included on the last day of your tour. Your transfer will meet you at your hotel and take you to the airport. The hotel is approx. 30 minute drive from Cairo International Airport (CAI).

More about jordan.

  • On the highest hill in Amman you'll find the Citadel. The hill was a fortress for thousands of year and archaeologists have found artefacts from the Bronze Age. Two of the most impressive remains are the Temple of Hercules and the Ummayad Palace.
  • Wadi Rum is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in southern Jordan. The 74,000-hectare property is a rich and varied desert landscape of narrow gorges, dramatic cliffs, 20,000 rock carvings and a strong history of human occupation that dates back 12,000 years.
  • The Dead Sea is actually a lake that's bordered by Jordan to the east and Israel and the West Bank to the west. The 'sea' sits 400 metres below sea level and the water is nearly 10 times more salty than most oceans. Aptly named because nothing can live in the water, that doesn't put off humans and bathing is must. The high salt levels make floating a breeze and the mineral-rich mud is believed to have therapeutic qualities that will make your skin shine!

  • Drink a real Turkish coffee. This isn't just a heart-starter in the morning, it's a ritual that should be savoured and appreciated in a local cafe.
  • Try a Turkish bath, or hammam. You'll be steamed, scrubbed and pounded in the quest for wellness, but it will be worth it and it's one of those things you need to do at least once in your life!

A BIT ABOUT OUR EGYPT AND JORDAN TOURS

When you book Egypt and Jordan tours through us, you are booking high quality tours from an Egypt tour operator that has been making travel dreams come alive ever since 1955. With so much experience behind the tours we offer, we believe that no other tour operator is better equipped than we are to provide a flawless travel experience to these incredible destinations.

When it comes to booking Egypt and Jordan tours, it is perfectly understandable that people have many concerns. Is the price right; what sort of hotels will they be staying in, and will there be someone they can turn to if something goes wrong? These are just a few common concerns, but at NileCruiseHolidays.com, all these concerns are not even relevant because we have totally eliminated them.

To begin with, our Egypt and Jordan tours cost, on average, about 15% less than the industry standard. Our clients also don’t have to worry about where they will be staying because we have partnered with some of the best hotels, and our clients are always booked into 4 or 5 hotels, just as they are always booked onto 5-Star Nile cruises. The only exception is when there simply aren’t any 4 or 5 star hotels in the area, but even then, you can be sure that you will be staying at the best of what is available.

We believe in transparency, so a list of the hotels where you will be staying in is included in all of our Egypt and Jordan tour itineraries. If you click on one of our available tours, and then you click on the “Prices” tab on the left hand side of the page, you will see all the various price options, as well as a list of the relevant hotels.

Last but not least, when you travel with us, you are never really left on your own. Our representatives will always be airports to greet you on arrivals, and they’ll be there to bid you farewell on departures.

During your tours in Egypt you will have your very own Egyptologist tour guide and a driver for your tours in and around Cairo. There will also be one of our English speaking Egyptologist tour guides aboard the cruise ship for the duration of your cruise, and our tour representatives and guides in Jordan will also be right there with you every step of the way.

EXPLORING THE VERY BEST OF CAIRO AND BEYOND

As is to be expected, each of our Egypt and Jordan tours are designed to be unique, which naturally means that the various itineraries vary from one to the other, but you can be sure that all of them will include visiting several of the very best Cairo tourist attractions, although some of these might be a short distance away from Cairo, rather than being in Cairo itself.

Okay, let’s take a brief look at some of the amazing places which you can expect to see when you book one of our Egypt and Jordan tours:

The Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx  – It should come as little surprise that the Giza necropolis features in all of our Egypt and Jordan tours. After all, the great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx are quite literally the face of Ancient Egypt. They are not only the most instantly recognizable sight in Egypt, but also the most visited ancient site.

What many visitors don’t realize, however, is that the Giza pyramids are by no means the oldest pyramids in Egypt. The Dashur Pyramids all predate the Giza Pyramids, as does the Djoser Pyramid at the Saqqara necropolis.

Another common misconception is that many people automatically assume that all, or at least most of the pharaohs were laid to rest in pyramids. In reality, only a few pharaohs were buried in pyramids, while the vast majority of pharaohs were buried in rock-cut tombs.

The Royal Saqqara Necropolis  – The Saqqara necropolis is an ancient royal burial ground which is located just a short drive away from Cairo, and it features in most, if not all of our Egypt and Jordan tours. While there are several fascinating things to see at this site, it is best known for its Djoser Pyramid, which is also often called the Step Pyramid.

This huge and intricate pyramid complex was built during the 27 th  century BC, making it the oldest pyramid of its kind ever discovered. It was also the very first stone building or large stone structure ever built.

The Egyptian Museum  – The Egyptian Museum in Cairo is another attraction which features in all of our Egypt and Jordan tours. Of course, if you don’t want to visit the museum or any other sites mentioned in our tour itineraries, then our customized Egypt and Jordan tours would be your best option because they can be tailored to meet your own exact needs.

tours of egypt and jordan

The Egyptian Museum is home to the world’s largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts that represent a period of around 5,000 years. There are more than 100,000 artifacts on display, and even more which are locked away in storage due to a lack of space, but this is all due to change shortly when the all-new Grand Egyptian Museum opens at Giza, hopefully in 2020.

One of the most fascinating areas in the museum is an area known as the Treasures Room, where all the artifacts from King Tutankhamen’s tomb are on display. There’s also a Mummies room where visitors can see real mummies, but a separate ticket is required for this room, and it is not included in our Egypt and Jordan tours. Tickets can however be purchased in person at the museum.

The Khan El Khalili Bazaar  – Our Egypt and Jordan tours simply wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Cairo’s famous Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Yes, you can visit bazaars and markets all over Egypt and the rest of the Middle East, but you can be sure that not a single one of them can be compared to the Khan El Khalili Bazaar which has essentially be open ever since 1389. It is one of the oldest open-air markets in the Middle East, and also thought to be the biggest.

Even though shopping malls have started to become incredibly popular in Cairo, this bustling market is still the place where most everyday Egyptian go to buy their daily groceries and other odds and ends. It is a great place to do a bit of shopping, but it is also a lovely place to stroll around while doing some people watching.

THE UNFORGETTABLE MAGIC OF NILE RIVER CRUISES

tours to egypt and jordan

All of our Egypt and Jordan tours include a Nile River cruise, either from Aswan to Luxor or from Luxor to Aswan. These 5-Star Nile cruise packages are a perfect blend of relaxation and sightseeing. They really do allow you to discover the ancient wonders of the Nile River Valley in absolute comfort and style.

The various tours and excursions you enjoy during your cruise are all small group tours consisting of a small number of our other clients, and one of our professional English speaking Egyptologist tour guides.

While Nile cruise itineraries might not all be the same, you will still get to see the top attractions in Aswan, Kom Ombo, Edfu and Luxor.

In Aswan, for example, you can expect to see places such as the Aswan High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, and the wonderful ancient Temple of Isis which is also called the Temple of Philae. During your cruise, the vessel will also dock at Kom Ombo and at Edfu, and during these stops you will be taken to see the incredible Kom Ombo Temple which was dedicated to two different gods, as well as the Temple of Haeroris which is the best preserved ancient temple ever discovered.

Finally, when it comes to Luxor, you will be taken to see and explore the massive Karnak Temple complex and Luxor Temple on the East Bank, and on the West Bank you can look forward to visiting Queen Hatshepsut Temple; the Colossi of Memnon, and Valley of the Kings. Valley of the Kings was a royal burial site where 63 tombs have been discovered, including the tomb of King Tutankhamen.

ENJOY THE TIMELESS CHARM OF JORDAN

tours in egypt and jordan

Stunning Wadi Rum – a valley cut into sandstone and granite rock in southern Jordan.

After enjoying an incredible Nile River cruise, it will then be time for your transfer to Amman international Airport in Jordan for the second phase of our Egypt and Jordan tours. While individual itineraries differ, some Jordan tourist attractions are included in most, if not all of our Egypt and Jordan tours. For example, most of these package tours will include a sightseeing tour in Amman.

The Rose City of Petra is another ancient site that practically all of our Egypt and Jordan tours. Also known as the Lost City of Petra, this indescribable site features an ancient city that was carved out of the sandstone cliffs of a long and deep narrow gorge by the ancient Nabateans.

It once served as a major trading post until it was eventually deserted, after which it all but forgotten before being rediscovered during the 19 th  century. Simply put, no amount of words can truly describe this incredible UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Most of our Egypt and Jordan itineraries also include a visit to the Dead Sea where visitors can experience floating on the mineral-dense water. Yes it is true, you really can float effortlessly on the water, and even read a book while you are doing so.

Because of the ultra-high salinity of the water, there the Dead Sea is completely devoid of aquatic life. The banks of the Dead Sea are the lowest dry place on earth at more than 400 meters below sea level.

Wadi Rum is another place which features in most of our Egypt and Jordan tour packages, a desert area made famous by the movie, Lawrence of Arabia. As to be expected, all our tour packages also include visiting several other historical sites but these vary, depending on which one of our Egypt and Jordan tours you opt for

ONE VACATION, THREE DESTINATIONS

If our classic Egypt and Jordan tours just aren’t enough, and you are looking for an even more immersive travel experience, then our 19 day Egypt, Jordan and Morocco tours might be just what you are looking for. When you book one of these tour packages, you will get to see and enjoy all the same incredible places as you would if you were to book one of our regular Egypt and Jordan tours.

You will also get to enjoy a wonderful 5-day Nile River cruise that will also take you to the same places, but the big difference is, you will also get to experience the magic of Morocco with its 5 imperial cities and its vast amount of unspoiled natural beauty.

Enjoy marvelous tours of the 5 imperial cities: Casablanca; Rabat; Fez; Meknes, and Marrakech, and soak up the beauty and charm as you drive in air-conditioned comfort from one place to next. Stop at remote little villages; mix with the locals while weaving your way along a winding mountain pass through the High Atlas Mountains.

Morocco can compete with Egypt in terms of ancient monuments, but it makes up for it in so many other ways. After all, there’s a good reason why Morocco has become such a tremendously popular travel destination.

Accommodation at the hotels is as indicated. In the event of any changes to accommodation, they will always be of the same, or a higher category. The category of hotels is not standardized across all countries in the world. For this reason, the criteria may differ depending on the destination country's own standards. In the case of adverse weather conditions, for safety reasons or for any other reasons deemed appropriate, the order and duration of the excursions included in the itinerary may be changed or cancelled without prior notice. In Istanbul the transfer by bus to the activities is organised by hotel location, not language. Once you arrive at the destination the group is consolidated based on your language. You will always have a guide speaking your language available.  Very rarely during low season in Turkey, some group tour departures may be bilingual (spanish and english) although each group will have one guide for English and one guide for Spanish. The extra bed in hotels are fold-out style and smaller in size than a standard single bed. Triple rooms are not bigger or more spacious only because they are occupied by 3 people. If you have reduced mobility, require the use of a wheelchair, or you would prefer this tour to be a private experience for you and your group, you must contact our Experts at +1 888-488-0592 before booking to ensure that your needs can be met. While on the road, it is highly unlikely that the vehicle will be equipped with wifi or bathroom facilities, though rest stops will be made for long trips. What our clients say

turkey jordan egypt tours

Jun 01 ,2022

The trip is divided into two very different weeks. During my stay in Egypt, I was always accompanied by my guide and driver, who ensured I had a great time visiting the different sites while learning a lot about Egyptian history. I was also supported during the check-in at the different airports. All the staff is reliable, friendly and they are very client-oriented. The hotels were fantastic. Unfortunately, the Nile cruise was rather old but clean. During the second week in Jordan, I was accompanied by my driver, Moayad. I had a guide only in Jerash and Petra which were ok. Moayad was friendly, accommodating, and caring and he ensured we reached all the sites safely and on time. He was also explaining things along the way. I highly recommend this tour, especially for solo travelers.

May 23 ,2022

This trip was phenomenal! I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience Egypt. I took this trip with my sister and her family, including young children. Our tour guide, Ali, was very accommodating and really made ancient Egypt come to life with his knowledge of the history and awareness of our age and interest levels. The Nile cruise, camel rides, pyramids, sphinx, Alexandria, ... all of it, the entire trip was amazing! Everything was arranged and went smoothly. I look forward to another trip to Egypt and will definitely book through Top Asia Tour!

May 06 ,2022

My trip to Egypt was amazing. I met so many amazing people and the Top Asia Tour team took great care of us. Everyone was so much fun to be around. My favorite place to visit in Egypt was Nefertari's tomb. It was just stunning! I never expected to see something like that. The beautiful intense colors, it really was great there. The whole trip was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I will never forget it. I have learned so much on this Egypt tour. I have been interested in Egypt my whole life and our guide was able to tell us things I have never heard before. He was very engaged and passionate. It was very exciting to see this passion. The service was fantastic, and all the food in Egypt was delicious. The Four Seasons hotel in Cairo was amazing, my room was gorgeous. I enjoyed every second of this Egypt vacation. Come to Egypt with Inside Egypt. It is a wonderful country, and you will have an amazing time! Don't be afraid to come. I never felt unsafe there. Come and see everything you can.

Apr 15 ,2022

Did an amazing tour across Egypt and Jordan! ! Dahab was a highlight! The blue hole there was fantastic do not miss out! Jordan was cool as well but loved Egypt more! Petra was amazing but full on, bring appropriate shoes as you will be walking 20km round trip just there! Amazing time with amazing people!

Apr 13 ,2022

TopAsiaTour arranged an excellent 12-day tour of Turkey and Egypt for me at very short notice. Customer service was excellent and all arrangements ran quite smoothly. I would highly recommend his services. I will also be grateful that he encouraged me to keep a hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia on my itinerary when I was thinking of canceling. It was a wonderful experience that I absolutely loved. This entire trip was such a memorable experience that crossed off so many items on my bucket list. It overshadowed any of the negatives. I will treasure this trip always. Importantly, I felt very well looked after as a solo female traveling across two continents. I highly recommend this tour and will be using TAT again.

Apr 12 ,2022

This was an amazing trip . We felt we got a lot of value for the price. Some of the hotels were iffy though. I got hurt on the Red Sea snorkeling, and it wasn’t part of the tour I was told. I hurt my knee and will need an MRI here at home. We were well taken care of and protected. Wondering already about a trip for next year. Is there a discount?

Apr 03 ,2022

I can’t overstate how extraordinary my Egypt tour is. It is run by the kindest, most considerate, most knowledgeable people. And the experience inside is unreal. The tour guides are all highly educated in their fields and share their passion in their heart and soul. The drivers are so kind and fun to be around. What're more the relationships that all members of this team share with the most interesting people in Egypt open doors that would otherwise remain closed. We saw more than we could have imagined thanks simply to them being who they are. We loved every moment and would only ever use them again.

Mar 20 ,2022

Just a short note to say how much we enjoyed our 11-day tour of Egypt and Jordan. This exceeded our expectations by far!!! I especially would like to commend the drivers and guides provided, especially Ahmed and Ibrahim in Egypt and Mohamad in Jordan. They took such good care of us that I will most certainly recommend this trip to my friends. Thank you so much again.

Feb 16 ,2022

Essential Egyptian sights in 6 days So the tour in itself is 4 days with the first and the last day being your travel days which I liked and every day is nice and packed with the highlights so it’s a nice little tour!

Feb 10 ,2022

The tour was wonderful. I mean.....so much to learn & so much to see. Beautiful things that I have never thought I would see. I hope I will come back and learn more about it. I felt absolutely safe, and have never felt uncomfortable in any situation whatsoever throughout the tour. Egyptians are so friendly and kind. Top Asia Tour is doing a good job, in fact, a wonderful job! Very personable and very adaptable to what people want to see. They sort of having a sense of what the group is interested in and they focus on those areas.

Jan 12 ,2022

Just a quick note to say that we had a great time in Egypt and Jordan. These are 2 very amazing countries with very friendly people everywhere we went. The extra camel ride at sunset to the Pyramids was fantastic. A much better view of such a special place.

Dec 10 ,2021

Top Asia Tour did a great job organizing and structuring my trip to Egypt. I went with 4 of my friends for a 9-day trip, and we were able to completely customize our experience to what we wanted to do and see. Top Asia Tour was extremely accommodating and easy to work with to make our stay enjoyable and carefree. We were taken care of and informed of everything from the moment we entered the airport. I would highly recommend using them for organizing your trip to Egypt. All of the tour guides were extremely knowledgeable in the areas we visited, easy to understand, and friendly. I would like to specifically recommend Mahmoud Hassan to anyone traveling to Luxor or Aswan. He did a great job and was extremely informative, fun, and a pleasure to work with. We even exchanged contact information, and plan to keep in touch. Overall great experience, and highly recommend TAT.

Nov 02 ,2021

Egypt and Jordan. Spectacular! We felt that we were treated so wonderfully. We were well cared for.

Jan 28 ,2021

I enjoyed every aspect of my trip. The tour guides knew their history and articulated the historical details of each site that we visited very well. The hotels in which we stayed were clean, spacious, and comfortable. There also was more than enough food for everyone and it tasted good.

Jan 17 ,2021

I cannot recommend this Egypt tour enough. As a travel destination, Egypt is exciting, interesting, and inspirational- people were friendly and I felt safe the whole time and would happily go back. The tour was organized, and efficient, and while offering autonomy to do your own thing [could make decisions to stay at sites longer]. The itinerary (and guides) made you not want to miss any of the activities.

Nov 25 ,2020

Words can't describe how wonderful this trip was, but I will give it a try. A true trip of a lifetime! I felt safe and secure (thank you Mohammed and Asham). I learned so much thanks to our guide, Noura. She is incredibly knowledgeable. All transfers from place to place came off without a hitch, thanks to Hany. The tours were well planned. Lily responded in a timely manner before the trip, easing any anxiety I might have had. The optional trips were just perfect on so many levels. I have already recommended Top Asia Tour-Egypt to my friends. Thank you again for making this trip a memory of a lifetime.

Mar 20 ,2020

From start to finish this tour was very well organised and delivered. We were met by two travel agency staff inside the airport in Cairo to assist us through the customs department and then onto the bus to take us to the hotel where we met up with our experienced Travel Guide. The tours to each and every wonderful sight were full of detail and while I think I already knew a lot about ancient Egypt. Our cruise was the highlight, being able to relax and enjoy the varied scenery along the Nile. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone over 10 yrs old.

Feb 19 ,2020

We accomplished everything we wanted to and more during this trip. The guides all bent over backward to make sure we were happy and completely satisfied. The tour became family and we plan to travel together again. We are already planning a trip back to Egypt.

Dec 08 ,2019

I traveled with my 12-year-old daughter. The agency made our trip as comfortable as possible. They were always responsive to any questions, feedback, or inquiries; any slight problems we were facing, the agency made sure to address them immediately. The tour guides and drivers in Egypt, Jordan & Israel were like family - prompt, reliable, and thoughtful. We felt safe under their watch. They went above and beyond their call of duty to make sure we were well taken care of. They didn't look at their watches or their designated duties and squabble with our little requests.

Nov 12 ,2019

What a trip of a lifetime!  An Experience I will never forget. I've been back two weeks and still think about it every day. Our guide, Noura, is probably the reason. She is extremely knowledgeable, but it is her passion for the country, its people, and its wonders that truly brought to life all of the histories this country offers. The entire team, especially Haney was there every step of the way. From our arrival to anything, we needed every minute. Haney always had a smile on his face. The people behind the scenes - Lily and all the rest of the team. I always felt safe and don't think I missed one thing. Egypt will forever be in my heart

Nov 03 ,2019

Knowledgeable, experienced, knew what the group might need ahead of time, handled lost group members quickly and efficiently, and easy to understand. Assisted everyone with their various post-trip transportation needs - gave us excellent advice on the best way to get to, cross the border, and continue on to Jerusalem with public transportation.

A great itinerary with a couple of weeks could improve the Jordan experience.

May 06 ,2019

Our Best of Egypt, Jordan and Israel tour is an amazing, lifetime experience. Egypt was beyond awesome. This tour far exceeded all our expectations and was thoroughly enjoyable in every aspect. There were absolutely no hitches or setbacks for the entire duration of the tour starting in Cairo and ending in Tel Aviv. It was smooth sailing from beginning to end. Representatives from the company promptly met us on arrival and assisted us all the way through from acquiring our visas to welcoming us to the hotel and briefing us accordingly. Likewise, similar courtesies were also extended to us through Jordan and Israel by their resident tour companies. All internal flight arrangements were also expertly handled. The 4 day Nile River cruise on the Sonesta Star Goddess was awe-inspiring. Similarly thanks to those staff who were excellent in leading us through Jerusalem and Bethlehem.

Mar 23 ,2019

We just returned from a family trip to Egypt and Jordan. All our guides were outstanding. I didn’t like Mazayen camp, especially the bathroom needs some updates We enjoyed everything else, and wish we stayed longer .. thank you
