Relaxing Day Tour at Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens and Spa

One of the best destinations for relaxation near the metro is Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens and Spa in Antipolo. I’d always wanted to go here, and so Hali and I went here for a day tour. We also invited his mom along as our treat.

First, we visited Pinto Art Museum in the morning. Then we had a lunch buffet in one of the local restaurants in Antipolo and then went here for the afternoon day tour. Here’s our visit including a guide on how you can get here too!

Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens and Spa (pronounced as lul-he-ta’s) is currently the first and only hanging gardens and spas in the Philippines. It takes inspiration from the old Babylonian hanging gardens, which you can see from its exquisite decorations.

Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens and Spa in Antipolo has fish spas, a hydro-massage pool, warm jacuzzi and sauna and an infinity pool. It also has a few lounges for relaxing, playing sungka or native music instruments or watching a movie.

It also offers various services including massages and body scrubs.

We had a wonderful time here in Luljetta’s. We tried the massage pools and the fish spa. Then we spent a long time in the main infinity pool, where you can see the surrounding mountains and the city skyline in the distance! This is also one of the best spots to take photos for your feed.

None of us went inside the sauna, but we relaxed at the warm jacuzzi.

I can’t say this enough — Luljetta’s exceeded our expectations! I love the details and the fact that it is so relaxing. It’s surrounded by trees and shrubs, there are zen-like gardens and statues everywhere, and there are constant relaxing sound and soft bell rings in the background. It has a lot of facilities so you can maximize your time on a day tour or you can just relax and admire the surroundings and the amazing mountain view.

There’s so much details in its decors, and there are so many spots where you can take great photos. There are also signs with affirmations on the pathways, like “You are loved,” “Good vibes,” “Happily ever after starts here,” etc.

You can tell that this is a place made with love.

I also liked the fact that the staff already provides you everything you need, including comfortable (and very cute) traditional bathrobes and towels. There are several rest rooms and shower rooms, so we didn’t have to queue especially when washing up. There are body wash, shampoo and conditioner, so we didn’t have to bother bringing these before our visit.

Hali’s mom tried a full-body scrub, where she got massaged, scrubbed with lemon oil and sugar and then coated with banana leaves. She loved it. I would like to try that next time; I was cautious of how much to spend because everything here is a bit on the pricey end, with massages starting at P700+ and body scrubs at P1200+.

We’re glad we planned this together with Hali’s mom because it’s a wonderful treat for anyone.

Overall, we felt happy and pampered during our stay in Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens and Spa in Antipolo. We’ll recommend it as a great option for a staycation in Antipolo in a heartbeat!

Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens and Spa is located at Sitio Loreland in Antipolo, Rizal.

Here are the commute directions:

• From Megamall or Cubao : Ride a van or jeep to Antipolo. Get off at Ynares Sports Arena or Antipolo Church.
• From Robinson’s Galleria : Ride a bus to Tikling (Taytay, Rizal). From Tikling, ride a jeep bound for Antipolo and get off at Antipolo Church.
• Once in Ynares or Antipolo Church, you can ride a tricycle to Luljetta’s.

As for us, we rode a private car from Alabang to Antipolo via C6. It took us 1.5 hours (2 hours on the return drive). It wasn’t too bad given that we went on a Friday. Going via EDSA would be slower due to traffic.

Here are the current rates ( Updated as of 2021 ):

Inclusions are as follows:

• Access to hanging gardens facilities (locker, sauna, heated jacuzzi, hydro-massage pool, infinity pools, meditation lounges)
• Traditional bathrobe and towel
• Snacks of Antipolo’s best suman
• (Hanging Gardens Getaway only) Set meal: soup, salad, pasta, dessert.

It’s open from Monday to Friday and Sunday (10AM to 9PM) and Saturday (10AM to 11PM).

Reservation is required in Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens, even for day tours. Reservation requires deposit of full amount.

Luljetta’s has its own restaurant called Luljetta’s Cafe.

We ate here after our day tour. I initially wanted to have eat somewhere else, but Hali likes the mountain view from here so much. The food is priced at P200+ and some dishes are good for sharing between 2 people. You can order the Luljetta’s popular Antipolo’s best suman. We particularly liked the seafood pasta and soy-glazed tofu, with iced tea which has a hint of turmeric.

If you’re looking for other places to eat, you can easily find cheap restaurants around this area in Antipolo. For couples, Vieux Chalet Swiss Restaurant has good reviews for its European meals and romantic ambiance.

• It’s best to go on weekdays if you want to avoid the crowd.
• Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens and Spa is located on a mountainside and you have to get up or down flights of stairs to move around. As such, it isn’t PWD or senior citizen friendly.

Yes you can. Depends on you how many hours you want to stay on each. We went to Pinto in the morning, had lunch outside and then went straight to Luljetta’s.

In C6, yes. There’s a lot of dug holes in the road and it can be uncomfortable, but even so it’s a faster route than EDSA.

Inspired by the traditional beach bars of the Atlantic Coast, LandShark Bar & Grill offers an intoxicating mix of fantastic food, signature drinks, and laid-back fun. Waterside Cove Breakfast and Dinner Buffets

Waterside Cove, located in the resort Conference Center, is serving up delicious breakfast and dinner buffets all weekend.

The Brunch Buffet is served Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM and includes a vast selection of favorites including a made-to-order omelet station, pancakes, pastries, and biscuits with gravy, as well as juices, mimosas, and Bloody Mary's
