Beyonce performs wearing Balenciaga

Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour began with a bang in Stockholm and it hasn't slowed down since. The highly-anticipated show has featured inventive set design, a decades-spanning setlist, and a plethora of standout style moments—from to archival pieces to custom looks and nearly everything in between. The star’s wardrobe has combined her signature style with the visual ethos of the album Renaissance ( think lots of sequins, silver, catsuits, and the occasional bee-inspired look). Beyoncé has also been wearing looks from brands specific to the city she’s performing in—for the UK leg of her tour she wore picks from the London-based Mary Katrantzou and Robert Wun while in Marseille, France she opted for a look by designer Simon Porte Jacquemus.

The singer has donned looks from both established brands—Valentino, Mugler, lots of Alexander McQueen, among others—as well as smaller labels like Anrealage and Brandon Blackwood. Balmain catsuits and mini dresses have been a constant throughout her tour wardrobe (in March, she partnered with creative director Olivier Rousteing to design a Renaissance couture line for the brand ) as well as imaginative pieces from Loewe. Beyoncé began the tour in Europe which has seen her in London, Paris, and other cities with the last being Warsaw, Poland on June 28th. She will then head to North America with her last date coming in New Orleans, Louisiana on September 27th. Needless to say, there will be countless more style moments to come—so, to make sure you don’t miss one look, keep checking back here as we keep track of everything Beyoncé has worn during the Renaissance world tour.

This robo-couture custom Balmain look featured silver-plated detailing that paneled the singer’s bodysuit. She paired the piece, which drifted into gloves, with a pair of knee-high boots.

“In the industry where we have to all fight, I want to thank [Beyoncé’s] support last night [to] all the Black designers that had created their own space in this tough industry,” Balmain designer Olivier Rousteing said . “This was the celebration.”

London-based brand Feben outfitted Beyoncé in a color-blocked catsuit. “Thank you for inviting me into your world,” the designer wrote on Instagram . “What an incredible moment to be a part of, and a pivotal one for myself, and my inner child. It means the world to be supported and seen as a Black female designer in the industry.”

While Beyoncé has, seemingly, unlimited access to a never-ending roster of designers, she went with her own label Ivy Park for this pink look in Amsterdam—and rightly so. Designed by the star herself, the piece featured daring slits, opera-style gloves, and a halter neckline.

“I started designing this collection over a year ago,” she said on Instagram . “I was so engulfed in all things Renaissance and was inspired by Studio 54, Bob Mackie, and the disco era.”

Beyoncé wears a custom Jacquemus look during her concert in Marseille, France.

French designer Simon Porte Jacquemus is from Marseille, France so it’s fitting that he outfitted the singer for her tour stop there. Jacquemus, who attended the concert, designed a form-ftting mini dress, boots, and gloves that featured disco ball-esque paillettes.

Inside Beyoncé's 'Renaissance' world tour wardrobe – all her custom-made looks

As the tour wraps after 57 shows, we chart her unmissable tour wardrobe

beyonce renaissance world tour wardrobe

And it's over. After 57 shows around the world, Beyoncé's much-celebrated Renaissance tour finally wrapped at the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, on 1 October. And, of course, throughout the course of its run, the impressive three-hour set featured an ever-rotating wardrobe of high-octane, custom-made looks.

The tour started in Stockholm on 10 May, before heading through Europe and then across Canada and the United States. The disco-themed show embodied everything from female empowerment to Black pride and, to match the high-energy album, Beyoncé performed in a series of glittering catsuits and striking metallic corsets by a string of luxury brands and designers like Alexander McQueen, Loewe, Gucci, Fendi and David Koma.

"For us, the designers, it is not just an amazing exposure but a wonderful cultural moment to be a part of," Koma told us, adding that Beyoncé herself is "exceptionally involved in all the details". The designer has worked with the singer – who he refers to as "a true artist and superwoman" – and her team on multiple occasions, so he said collaborating again felt "natural".

"A global tour like this is an incredible, culture-defining event," he said. "Having seen some of the videos from this tour – you just know it’s a once-in-a-lifetime magical performance that every attendee will remember forever... Considering the creativity that goes into putting on a show like that, it makes sense to work with designers for special couture and custom looks."

Fellow designer Iris van Herpen also expressed that creating for Beyoncé was a "huge honour". After crafting a beautiful silver gown (which took 12 people and 700 hours to make), the designer said: "In her epic Renaissance tour, Beyoncé embodies feminine empowerment. She symbolises that confidence radiates from within and that beauty thrives in diversity. Her style is a kaleidoscope of elegance that inspired me and my team in every stitch, every bead and every petal."

There's good news for those who weren't able to catch the tour in person, or who want to relive the magic from the night; Beyoncé has confirmed that a concert film is coming soon, featuring her personal highlights from the show, unseen backstage footage and an insight into the rehearsal process.

In the meantime, look back at Beyoncé's unmissable custom Renaissance tour wardrobe, here.

On the final night of her mammoth world tour, in Kansas City, Beyoncé took to the stage in a custom-made Balenciaga couture gown. The bustier dress featured more than 8,000 embroidered crystal rhinestones and was paired with black jersey opera gloves.

Beyoncé went sporty in Telfar to perform in Seattle. She stepped out on stage in a red zip-up bodysuit, with matching arm warmers, chaps, a cap and sunglasses. Her back-up dancers also co-ordinated with her look, wearing Telfar ensembles with white over-the-knee boots.

Beyoncé added to her statement tour wardrobe in a custom denim look by Diesel, which she wore with Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses, to perform in Vancouver.

Beyoncé added to the drama of her Renaissance world tour in a beautiful purple Vera Wang gown with a matching hood and gloves. She finished off her ensemble with a pair of Saint Laurent pumps.

Beyoncé turned to her own label, Ivy Park, during the Vancouver leg of her tour. The singer wore a patterned bodysuit with a matching oversized hat, floating cape and over-the-knee black boots. She accessorised with Tiffany & Co sunglasses.

Beyoncé Renaissance World Tour Gallery

It should cost a billion to look this good, and judging by every stunning look worn by Beyoncé on her worldwide Renaissance Tour , it just might have.

The stylish stunner turned heads all Summer ’23 with her immaculate stage show, impressing audiences with grande production, powerful vocals, and a wardrobe made to dazzle beneath disco lights. Representing for both fashion ‘s biggest names and lesser-known artisans, to call the collection impressive would be an understatement. Bey and her fellow performers donned over 140 looks as she journeyed from Sweden (where she debuted the unforgettable LOEWE bodysuit) to Kansas City, where she wrapped up the tour this weekend ahead of announcing a new film based on the historic trek.

Thanks to the hard work of stylists Shiona Turini, Julia Sarr-Jamois, Karen Langley and KJ Moody, Beyoncé was able to showcase a new level of style that felt both fresh and familiar, citing classic looks from music videos and past performances, all while requiring the absolute best from fashion houses like Jimmy Choo , Fendi, Versace, Marc Jacobs, Pucci, Gucci, and more. Bey was also certain to highlight Black designers , including Feben, Maximilian Davis for Ferragamo, Olivier Rousteing for Balmain, Ibrahim Kamara for Off-White, LaQuan Smith and her own Ivy Park creations.

Every look surely involved high attention to detail to execute, making it almost impossible to analyze and rank so many amazing ‘fits. Still, we did exactly that, ranking these custom masterpieces from good-to-absolutely breathtaking.

Beyhive Budget: How much L.A. fans spent on outfits for Beyoncé's Renaissance Tour

An inside look at the economics of fashion preparation for one of the highest-selling female tours to date.

A photo of a Beyonce fan dressed in all silver

Time, money and preparation to see an artist on tour can be both extensive and expensive. With tickets averaging $700, Beyoncé's “Renaissance World Tour” garnered over $461 million as of August 2023. The legendary pop singer recently completed a 3-day stop at Sofi Stadium in Inglewood.

On her website and social media, Beyoncé requested concertgoers to wear their “most fabulous silver fashions” to the shows falling between August 23 and September 11 in celebration of her September 4 birthday. In one of the most expensive cities to live in during national inflation, Los Angeles attendees found innovative ways to afford their last-minute silver wardrobe.

Upon receiving the dress code announcement, L.A. native Ben Cohen, 26, started to plan. His general thought process was to spend big on tour tickets but be economical with fashion.

Cohen took four hours to design a crystal-studded hat. He wore a silver catsuit, heels and silver gloves to accompany the hat, spending an estimated $130, including cosmetics from Amazon. His ticket cost about $600 at face value with taxes and fees included.

“She’s definitely encouraging people to spend money, that’s for sure,” Cohen said. “I’ve seen so many TikToks of shops that are putting out silver clothing since she announced it. It’s helping smaller businesses which is great.”

Josh Hurt searched for an outfit that matched his "space cowboy" vision. (Photo by Kaleef Starks)

Another concertgoer, Josh Hurt, 34, also leaned into a glitzy moment. Bedazzling a silver shield from a local seller on Etsy, Hurt aimed for a “space cowboy” style with rhinestones from Amazon and the Santee Alley of downtown L.A. He paired off the rest of his look with silver biker gloves, silver cowboy boots and matching faux leather pants.

With a $1,900 ticket purchased at face value for the Beyhive Pit, his intricate outfit cost about an extra $400 in concert preparation — bringing Hurt to an estimated total of $2,300.

“It goes to show that people can still make things happen in a tough economy to do what they want to do,” Hurt said.

Giselle Elizalde scrapped her original outfit plan and switched to this silver ensemble to match the show's glitzy theme. (Photo by Kaleef Starks)

Sporting a sheer top garment from Fashion Nova, Alexander Wang undergarments and Dior vintage sunglasses, Beyhive member Giselle Elizalde waited patiently in the VIP line to check in for her $1,900 Beyhive Pit seat. It took her three hours and nearly $1,000 in clothing and accessories to get concert ready.

“I had a different outfit, but she told me to wear silver, so I [had to] wear silver. We make things work,” Elizalde said. “I’m feeling amazing, how else am I supposed to feel?”

Popular travel influencer, Paola Travell, spent a whopping $3,000 on a handmade, silver outfit that included a handmade corset, a hat, an off-the-shoulder pearl dress with a sheer train and a bee-themed necklace.

A photo of a Beyonce fan dressed in an elaborate silver outfit.

“I did everything with my own hands. It took me at least 30 hours,” Travell said. “For the Los Angeles shows, I made three outfits in one week after she made the request for silver. I spent one full week without sleeping to make the outfits.”

Travell has attended eight Renaissance World Tour shows starting in Marseille, France;  Frankfurt, Germany; Amsterdam; Hamburg, Germany and all three shows in Inglewood, California. For the September 4 show, she sat in the Beyhive Pit for $1,900.

Scott Gonzales strikes a pose at Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour. (Photo by Kaleef Starks)

While some may find these expenses too frivolous, Scott Gonzales, 28, found this uniting experience to be worth the extra cost.

“This was the Met Gala for all the Beyhive,” Gonzales said. “Do I know how to sew? No. Will I go out and buy a sewing machine to get this outfit ready? Of course. So I learned to sew.”

Beyoncé will take Renaissance to the stage once again in Vancouver, British Columbia on Monday.

Beyonc on metallic horse

What do giant robot arms, a news desk, and an enormous horse sculpture have in common? They’re all currently traversing Europe with Beyoncé’s Renaissance world tour, which kicked off May 10 in Stockholm, Sweden. Following her album’s release last July, the Beyhive has been growing restless in the absence of any  Renaissance  visuals—which fans have come to expect from the songstress after her groundbreaking visual albums  Beyoncé,   Lemonade, and Black Is King cemented the Grammy winner as a trailblazer of world-building within her artistry. She even  poked fun at the brewing discontent during an interlude in the concert: “You’ve asked for the visuals, you’ve called for the queen,” a voiceover with accompanying text read out on the big screen. “But a queen moves at her own pace, b*tch, decides when she wants to give you a f*cking taste. So get your fork and spoon, if you got one.”

Barring the official debut of videos fans have only seen in snippets and teasers thus far, Beyoncé ’s production design for the Renaissance concerts treats stadia of attendees on the 40-city, 57-show extravaganza to some of the most thrilling—and playful—wonders of the artist’s touring career. Equal parts retro psychedelic and chrome-futuristic, concertgoers  AD  reached out to agree that Renaissance looks to offer the singer-songwriter’s biggest-budget touring set yet. Stufish Entertainment Architects and Es Devlin Studio are to thank for the tour’s stage design (along with presumably plenty of input from Beyoncé herself, who is credited as director, executive producer, and creative director.)

Beyonc performing in iridescent costume

Rodrigo Fantini last saw Queen Bey at her On The Run II Tour in 2018. A Beyhive faithful, he attended the first two dates of the  Renaissance tour in Stockholm and will rejoin the party in a few months when she stops through SoCal. He described the production for the set as “crazy expensive.” Though AD could not confirm the production budget, Forbes claims that the Renaissance world tour could bring in as much as $2.1 billion. The publication estimates that ticket prices alone will net between $680 million and $2.4 billion (on the very high end), but merchandise sales are expected to inflate those figures further—Forbes projects those could earn the mogul approximately $171 million. By comparison, Beyoncé’s 2018 On the Run II Tour with husband Jay-Z grossed over $250 million, also per Forbes . Her last solo tour, 2016’s Formation, brought in over $256 million, according to The Hollywood Reporter .

“Of course she’s an amazing singer, I love her songs, but besides that I was really impressed by the visuals,” Fantini says. “I think this is the best done so far for her tours…. And I feel that they put a lot of effort into all the details that they have for each song, it feels like for each song there is something different going on.” Reportedly clocking in at roughly three hours’ run time, Renaissance has no opening act.

Seated in the near-stage Beyhive section on night one and in a further-flung seat on the second evening, Fantini felt the large-scale stage set translated well at both short and long distances. He described the aesthetic of the era—which more or less officially debuted in concert, without any music videos for fans to build off of—as “very futuristic.” Case in point, the singer dons multiple resplendent metallic looks throughout the concert and during her performance of the track “Cozy,” she dances to the beat in sharp staccato motions while flanked by two towering robot arms, roughly twice her size. Like the famed vogue face-framing flourish that became a hallmark of the ’80s ballroom dance culture she draws from in the album, the robot arms end in rectangular shapes that frame and move with the singer. “The choreography is based on the robot arms’ movements and that was really impressive because it has to be perfect timing,” Fantini says.

Beyoncs Renaissance tour set a large circle set spotlighting her in the center

There are 22 lighting crew members and one overarching lighting designer for the Renaissance tour, per Beyonce.com.

One of the most eye-catching features for Fantini was a point near the end of the show during which Beyoncé straddles a disco-ball-sparkly horse (which he said came across as roughly horse-size, as opposed to a much larger bucking half-horse figure that appears at another time in the concert) similar to the one she’s seen on in the  Renaissance album cover, lifting off from the main stage to the Club Renaissance section seating nearby.

Robin Joris Dullers detailed the same “magical” moment at her later Brussels concert in similar fashion, recalling the vocalist as “an angel floating midair.” The horse remained on stage for attendees to snap photos with post-performance. Dullers had last seen Beyoncé in 2016 and says that compared with his previous experience, this concert “had definitely scaled up.” One set feature he felt was almost too gargantuan was a large metallic vehicle atop which she performs her 2020 remix of Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage” before transitioning into “Partition,” a hit from her 2013 self-titled album. She raps and bounces to the beat while a pole jutting up from the car-like structure anchors her movements.

Beyoncé credits 20 dancers for the Renaissance tour on her website, including popular ballroom artist Honey Balenciaga.

Dullers found that feature was a bit uncharacteristic for the singer and “not Beyoncé style.” Though other fans disagree: Royal Williams attended the concert’s second stop in Brussels and found herself impressed by the set element, which she described as “a silver, kind of tank-like” structure onstage. She felt it nodded to low-rider cars and the hydraulics-powered hops they’re known for. The choreography for that point in the show combined with the silver vehicle felt reminiscent of a ride on a mechanical bull, to Williams, which could be a gesture to both Beyoncé’s own and “Savage” rapper Megan Thee Stallion’s shared Houston heritage. The metallics and robots of the show give it a futuristic vibe, but Williams interpreted features like the vehicle in alignment with the pieces of cowboy culture the singer has woven throughout this era (including the cowboy hat she wears in one of the few images released with  Renaissance, as well as the obvious: the album cover, which shows her atop a horse).

Despite differing fan reception to any particular elements of the show, it does appear Beyoncé is taking a more playful approach with  Renaissance. Though she’s sometimes seen as a mysterious figure for the distance and privacy she maintains in spite of her fame, the Grammy winner references her fan-bequeathed status as Queen Bee(/Bey) directly with a Mugler bee costume, dancing around a news desk to her fast-paced “America Has A Problem”—fitting, as the track incorporates beats similar to those used on television news to signify breaking updates.

Williams recalls previous concerts as very curated with good production value but says that more props were definitely incorporated into the  Renaissance  tour shows, upping the ante and making it worth the cost of admission as well as the voyage from Medellín, Colombia, to Brussels. Like Fantini, she’ll be stepping back inside the world Beyoncé has built out again when the tour makes its way to California. Her overall assessment of the show, in terms of its stage set: “The budget is definitely there.”

We just got our very first glimpse at Beyoncé’s Renaissance world tour looks, and they did not disappoint. Though it’s been almost five years since Beyoncé was last on tour with On the Run II, the singer is back on the road with her long-anticipated Renaissance world tour. She kicked it off with a buzz-worthy first performance in Stockholm, Sweden, on May 10, and, of course, she’s dressing the part for the occasion.

Beyoncé’s big return to touring called for a wardrobe fit for a queen. Dressed by stylists Shiona Turini, KJ Moody, and Julia Sarr-Jamois, the star had a collection of custom looks from some of the biggest names in fashion on opening night alone. Alexander McQueen, David Koma, Loewe…. You name it, Beyoncé most likely has it.

Until late September, Beyoncé will be going from city to city to perform her hit songs (and model some extravagant outfits, evidently) for her beloved fans all around the world. It’s set to be the summer of Beyoncé, and Beyhives know it well.

As the tour goes on, who knows what else Queen Bey will have under her belt? Scroll on to see Beyoncé’s Renaissance world tour looks. (And then manifest tickets with us. Or, if you’re one of the lucky ones who already have a seat, get some inspiration for what you’ll be wearing.)

81 Beyoncé Concert Outfit Ideas for the Renaissance World Tour Inspired by Fans, Celebrities, and Bey’s Looks

Including silver tops, pants, and accessories to celebrate Virgo season

Cai Cramer is a shopping writer at PEOPLE.com with 2 years’ experience in journalism and digital media. Like many Beyoncé fans, I spent a lot of time thinking about what I’d wear to the Renaissance World Tour, the artist’s first solo tour in seven years . And, on July 29 at MetLife Stadium, the effort paid off when Queen Bey exclaimed from the stage , “I want to say thank you for all your beautiful outfits. It’s my favorite thing to see.”

The crowd around me was dotted with sequins and metallics, disco ball cowboy hats dripping with crystal beads, and micro-bags small enough to hold a phone and two tubes of lipgloss (the essentials). Fans paid homage to the Renaissance album’s sparkling house beats with glittering outfits (and comfortable shoes ) to dance for the entirety of the nearly three-hour-long concert.

The Grammy winner, who turned 42 on September 4, asked fans attending her upcoming concerts to wear “your most fabulous silver fashions” in celebration of her birthday and Virgo season. “We’ll surround ourselves in a shimmering human disco ball each night,” Bey said in her Instagram story.

Finding an outfit that’s glamorous enough to impress the Bey Hive while still feeling “comfortable in my skin” meant hours of online shopping and research — which, as a shopping writer at PEOPLE, is basically my job. I opted for a lightweight, sheer dress layered with a crystal-netted top.

On the night of the show, as I sang along to “Formation” and yelled my way through the “Heated” outro, I also took note of the fabulous outfits in the crowd. The two biggest trends I spotted were metallic silver tops and denim bottoms — both easy to recreate with affordable pieces.

To make your life easier, I rounded up everything you’ll need for a killer Beyoncé concert outfit, no matter the weather. Keep scrolling to shop comfortable platform sneakers, metallic tops, sequin dresses, translucent rain ponchos, and more Beyoncé concert outfit ideas inspired by celebrities, influencers, and fans who went to the Renaissance tour. We even found the jersey that Blue Ivy Carter wore on stage — and it’s only $20 .

If you’re planning to dance all night long, then take a tip from Oprah, who attended the Beyoncé concert on July 30 at MetLife Stadium with her bestie Gayle, and throw on a comfortable blouse and jeans. We’re currently eyeing this one from Target, which has a cute oversized fit. It’s made from soft cotton, which helps keep you cool if it’s hot when the show starts and keeps you cozy when the sun goes down at night.

Another way to be comfortable and still stand out at any concert is with an eye-catching body suit , like this affordable style from Amazon. One customer called it the “perfect concert top” and said it kept them “comfortable for 10 hours.” It comes in a variety of sheer and sparkly styles, and it’s on sale for just $26 right now.

Metallic High Leg Bodysuit Suit

Bey’s jaw-dropping stage looks might change from show to show, but holographic elements have stayed a consistent theme in her ‘fits. This holographic bodysuit is totally on-theme, and fits like a stretchy one-piece bathing suit. Best of all, it costs just under $30 (and we’re planning to rewear it for a fitness Barbie Halloween costume !)

If you’re trying to channel Blue Ivy’s fierce dance moves, then you can pick up the oversized New York T-shirt that she wore onstage at the MetLife Stadium show. Layer it over a denim skirt and throw on a holographic hat to complete your stage-worthy outfit.

Nyah / Boohoo

  • Edikted Let it B Sheer Lace Open Back Jumpsuit , $53.20 (orig. $60.80); nordstrom.com

Looking like an “alien superstar” is shockingly easy with the right dress. Plus, a breezy dress can help keep you cool while you dance. The Lyaner Mesh Long Sleeve Dress is made from a breathable, stretchy mesh and comes with a comfy black tank top and shorts to wear under. The dress is covered with sparkling constellations, which sets the vibe for an out-of-this-world concert look (and feels on-theme for Virgo season).

To really nail Beyonce’s silver outfit decree, consider this sparkling midi dress from Amazon while it’s 63 percent off. The swingy fit would pair perfectly with a pair of shiny cowboy boots, and you could even throw a cropped jean jacket over your shoulders if the night gets chilly.

A Beyoncé concert is the perfect opportunity to be as extra as you want and bring out the color, sparkles, and attitude. This sparkly, tasseled dress reminds me of the bright green one worn by a fan named Nyah I saw at the MetLife Stadium show. Her outfit immediately stuck out to me thanks to  its unique texture and movement. If you’re trying to channel Bey’s “Cozy” outfit, then a bright pink set, like this one from Lulu’s , is a stylish and comfortable option.

Jennifer Patrone / Macy's

  • Cider Sequin Middle Waist Mini Skirt , $26; shopcider.com

  • Edikted Women's Metallic Low Rise Jeans , $89.60 (orig. $128); macys.com
  • Pippa Cargo Denim Miniskirt , $55.20 (orig. $69); nordstrom.com

Some of Beyoncé’s most iconic looks have featured denim pants, including the cover art for her 2003 solo album Dangerously in Love. Denim skirts are currently trending, so I’ve got my eye on this light-wash maxi skirt from Abercrombie . It has a stylish front slit that gives you room to dance freely to “Dangerously in Love.”

Pippa Cargo Denim Miniskirt

Another piece that we’re coveting is this adorable cargo mini skirt that would pair perfectly with cowboy boots. Plus, you can get it for $14 less than its typical price right now.

Of all the outfits I saw in the crowd at the Renaissance show, fan Jennifer Patrone’s silver pants stood out from the rest for their flattering cut and eye-catching shine. I found a similar pair of low rise metallic jeans at Macy’s , and they’re $50 off right now.

  • Soda Picotee Silver Metallic Cowboy Boots , $54.99 (orig. $99.99); amazon.com
  • Pasuot Silver Knee High Cowboy Boots , $69.99; amazon.com
  • Goserce Metallic Pink Cowgirl Boots , $48.68 (orig. $61.99); amazon.com

  • Dirty Laundry Unite Western Bootie , $69.95; nordstrom.com
  • Cariuma Oca Low Off-White Canvas , $89; cariuma.com

Comfortable footwear is the key to dancing all night long — and what could be more comfortable than a pair of Crocs? This sparkly silver pair keeps with the silver theme and provides that classic Croc comfort you know and love.

If you’re on the hunt for a pair of classic, comfortable sneakers that will go with any outfit, then the Cariuma Oca low-tops will check all the boxes. The breathable sneakers are often worn by celebrities, including Ashton Kutcher and John Hamm. And, if you’re worried that sneakers won’t be dressy enough for the occasion, rest assured that even Helen Mirren prioritized comfort and wore a pair of Cariuma sneakers to the Cannes Film Festival in 2021. If they’re nice enough for Cannes, they’re nice enough for us!

Dirty Laundry Unite Western Bootie

Cowboy boots are having a major style moment, and now’s the perfect time to snag yourself a pair. We’re adding these versatile white western booties to cart.

  • Dageda Body Glitter Gel in Silver , $6.99; amazon.com

Of course, a dazzling Beyoncé concert outfit is not complete without the right accessories. Let the Renaissance cover art inspire you and grab a glitzy cowboy hat to top off your ‘fit. This shade-shifting hat from Amazon comes in nine different holographic colors to channel your inner Alien Superstar. And, best of all, it’s just $20.

Rain or shine, Queen Bey knows how to put on a fantastic show (she even performed during a downpour at her Maryland show ), so if it looks likely to rain for your show, a translucent poncho like this one from Amazon can keep you dry and still allows your fabulous outfit shine through.

Veckle Clear Stadium-Approved Fanny Pack

Before you head to the concert venue, remember to check your arena’s rules about what you can and can’t bring inside. Many venues don’t allow bags over a certain size unless the bag is clear, so grabbing a see-through fanny pack, like this one from Amazon , can save you time in the security line, and it allows you to hold your phone, keys, and wallet hands-free during the show.

Lululemon Mini Belt Bag

The internet-famous Lululemon Belt Bag now comes in an adorable mini version, which is the perfect size for a phone and keys. You can clip the bag around your waist or across your body while you dance and then take it anywhere you go post-concert. Plus, it’s less than $40 and comes in eight colors. The original-sized Belt Bag is also a great choice if you’re looking to take a few more things along with you, and it costs the same as the mini.

Riding the train back to New York City from Metlife Stadium in New Jersey, I was surrounded by fellow fans glittering with rhinestones and sweat. It was clear that we were all still reeling from the once-in-a-lifetime performance we’d just witnessed. The artistry and pride that fans put into their looks is one of the factors that make the show special. If you have a chance to catch the tour, be sure to find an outfit that brings that “Kodak energy.”

What to wear to beyoncé's "renaissance" tour — from crystal cowgirl hats to latex bodysuits.

Ever since Beyoncé's long-awaited "Renaissance" World Tour kicked off in Stockholm, Sweden earlier this spring, social media has been abuzz about Queen Bey's return to the stage — and all of the dazzling concert ensembles she's donned for the occasion.

Of course with any Beyoncé concert, attendees are guaranteed a couple things: an otherworldly performance filled with stadium-shaking vocals, high-energy dance routines, and an electric setlist of back-to-back hits that only one the world's greatest entertainers could nail nightly. While Beyoncé's concert outfits are always a topic of conversation, the visuals for her "Renaissance" album have provided a whole new category of style inspiration for BeyHive members looking to mirror the star's inimitable aesthetic.

Stylistically, fans' "Renaissance" outfits have been all across the board, with an array of pieces that pay homage to each of the star's musical eras — think lots of mesh corset looks á la "Drunk in Love" mixed with "I Am... Sasha Fierce"-inspired metallics and "Renaissance"-esque space cowboy vibes. There's a sea of rhinestone-embellished cowgirl hats seen throughout nearly every stadium, along with other statement pieces that play into the superstar's looks both on and off the red carpet — like latex bodysuits, over-the-knee boots , curve-defining dresses, and regal jewellery. Check out some inspiration from the UK tour stops below.

Whether you're planning on attending one of Beyoncé's "Renaissance" shows or want inspiration for your own wardrobe, we've curated a guide for what to wear to a Beyoncé concert, with concert outfit ideas inspired by the star herself.

From a Mugler jumpsuit and crystal Betsey Johnson boots to mesh gloves that mirror the design on her famous Loewe bodysuit, these are looks you'll be excited to dance and scream-sing in all night long. Keep reading to shop our picks for the best Beyoncé-inspired outfits, with selects from Amazon, Revolve, Boohoo, and more.

What Beyoncé Wore on the Renaissance Tour

Beyoncé Concert Outfits

Beyoncé Concert Outfits

Shiny Metallic Teddy Bodysuit ($15)

It simply wouldn't be a Beyoncé concert without a red monochrome look worked somewhere into her tour outfit rotation. Thus far on the "Renaissance" Tour, Queen Bey has opted for a sparkly red Off-White bodysuit with an oversize top hat to match. For a similar look, we recommend pairing this latex-like teddy bodysuit from Amazon with a pair of red cargo pants for a fiery ensemble that'll match your high-level energy come showtime.

Beyoncé Concert Outfits

Luckelf Sparkle Fishnet Tights ($9)

Short on time but still searching for the perfect concert outfit ideas for the "Renaissance" Tour? With these sparkly fishnet tights, you don't have to go out and buy an entirely new outfit — you can simply through these on underneath your other closet staples (like a pair of denim shorts or a mini pleated skirt) and be on your merry way.

Beyoncé Concert Outfits

Boohoo Black Rhinestone Tassel Trim Cowboy Hat ($22, originally $54)

Regardless of what Beyoncé-inspired concert clothes you're looking to pair together, make sure this tassel-trimmed cowgirl hat is at the centre of your ensemble. The black hat takes a cue straight from the musician's "Renaissance" album cover art with its rhinestone embellishments and effortless cool girl flair.

Beyoncé Concert Outfits

Feisedy Designer Sunglasses ($15)

The lights never seem to get too bright for Queen Bey, but if you're looking for a Beyoncé-inspired accessory that'll give your concert outfit a little extra sass (and your eyes a little break from the major stage lights), you can't go wrong with these cat eye-like sunnies from Amazon.

Beyoncé Concert Outfits

Cider Diamond Tassels Ripped Denim Shorts ($28)

You can live out all of your space cowgirl dreams with these eye-catching denim shorts, which feature diamond tassels along the pockets and a distressed hemline that'll complete any concert outfit with a leggier look.

Beyoncé Concert Outfits

MakeMeChic Summer Short Sleeve Mesh T-Shirt ($22)

Sheer, sparkly, black, breathable — this short sleeve T-shirt checks all of our boxes and then some. The oversize top is a bestseller on Amazon and shoppers love it for its elevated yet still comfortable design. It's a great piece to pair with biker shorts and a pair of black knee-high boots. Plus, we appreciate that it's a style you can wear long after Beyoncé's "Renaissance" tour ends — though we're adamantly denying that day will ever come, in the meantime.

Beyoncé Concert Outfits

Lanpet Round Crystal Evening Clutch ($30)

Bring the party wherever you go so long as you have this crystal disco clutch in tow — that's not a Beyoncé lyric, but it has such a bad b*tch energy to it, it feels like it should be. The sparkly accessory is embellished with glitzy crystals that are bound to elevate even the simplest outfit with a more electric touch.

Beyoncé Concert Outfits

Spencer's Cat Claw Gloves ($13)

Among Beyoncé's many iconic "Renaissance" outfits, her custom Loewe gold bodysuit has undoubtedly garnered the most attention on social media — and for good reason. The curve-hugging outfit is wrapped in a design of gloved hands with red finger nails that feel sultry and mysterious all at once. Unless you're planning on re-creating the piece from scratch, it's a bit trickier to replicate. Fortunately, you can still pay homage to the look with these fierce cat claw gloves, which are made from a sheer mesh material, and topped with metallic silver nails to match.

Beyoncé Concert Outfits

Beyonce "Renaissance" Tour 2023 T-Shirt ($14, originally $21)

If you're less concerned about perfectly mirroring Beyoncé's concert outfits and would rather opt for something more comfortable (and stretchy enough that you can dance around all night in it), we recommend going for a classic T-shirt like this style from Etsy. The white tee features a design of Queen Bey plastered across the front, with lyrics from her summer anthem, "Cuff It" as the backdrop.

Beyoncé Concert Outfits

Faux-Leather Steampunk Corset Top ($26)

This faux-leather corset top should cost a billion to look this good — but thankfully it doesn't and it's actually only $26. Beyoncé has leaned fully into the metallic trend these days, and while gold might be her signature colour (just ask the BeyHive), she's making the case for silver on the "Renaissance" tour with her concert outfits — like the metallic feathered cape she donned from Coperni, plus a custom silver Courrèges bodysuit.

Beyoncé Concert Outfits

Oluolin Backless Bodycon Jumpsuit ($50)

Believe it or not, this isn't actually a custom Balmain jumpsuit, but rather a stretchy bodycon jumpsuit from Amazon — with a $50 price tag, no less. From the stage of the "Renaissance" World Tour to the red carpet, Beyoncé's made her love for Balmain known on a number of occasions. And while an authentic piece from the designer brand might be too far outside of your concert budget to swing, you can still channel your own Queen Bey vibes with this bold, black and gold-coloured ensemble.

Beyoncé Concert Outfits

Wolf & Badger Velvet Handbag With Golden Honeybee Brooch ($79)

If you're still dreaming up your perfect "Renaissance" concert outfit, you could pull a Beyoncé and dress up like an actual queen bee (see the outfit she wore while performing "America Has A Problem" for more context) or you could showcase your bonafide BeyHive status in a more subtle way with this velvet handbag which features a darling honeybee brooch across the front.

Beyoncé Concert Outfits

Betsey Johnson Rodeo Rhinestone Thigh-High Boots ($349)

As far as Beyoncé outfit ideas go, you can never go wrong with working a glitzy pair of rhinestone-embellished cowgirl boots into the mix, and this thigh-high style from Betsey Johnson is currently high on our shopping wishlist. The star's "Renaissance" album played into a space cowgirl aesthetic that felt classic (and like an homage to the singer's Texas roots) yet still fitted with a more futuristic flair.

Beyoncé Concert Outfits

Superdown Diane Tank Mini Dress ($72)

You might not have the budget to shop out Beyoncé's iridescent David Koma dress — which the star has already been wearing on repeat throughout the "Renaissance" Tour — but you can still tap into the style's trippy, colour-blotched vibes with this mini tank dress from Superdown. The cropped frock is wrapped in a similar mesh material that mirrors Queen Bey's look, just with a few more green undertones.

Beyoncé Concert Outfits

Fansay Fans Large Iridescent Folding Hand Fan ($30)

With a catalogueueue of hits as electric as Beyoncé's, there's a good chance you'll be on your feet and dancing nonstop throughout the entire show. Given that it's also a stadium tour — with more than a few open-roof stadiums on her schedule — you'll be able to keep yourself cool regardless of the summer temperatures with this magnetic-looking hand fan. We love how the accessory's iridescent design reflects a similar aesthetic that we've seen throughout Beyoncé's "Renaissance" album era.

Beyoncé Concert Outfits

Mugler Deep Mesh Bodysuit ($660)

Beyoncé has long been a fan of Mugler's curve-accentuating designs, even bringing Blue Ivy into the mix of wearing haute couture staples from the designer label — FYI: the mother-daughter-duo famously wore matching rainbow printed ensembles from Mugler's Spring/Summer 2020 collection for the singer's music video "My Power" in the "Black Is King" movie. While this colorblocked Mugler piece might require a bit more of a splurge, it's well worth the investment if it means you'll get to feel like Beyoncé for one night.

Custom Mugler #1

Beyonce went full robotic couture in this custom Mugler costume.

It was inspired by the robot suit from their Fall 1995 collection - deemed extremely influential in the world of fashion design.

She matched the iridescent and sparkling horse, and teamed the look with matching gloves and looked every inch the spectacle in the gleaming bodysuit.

One word - WOW!

Beyonce then took us into a pearl fantasy with this custom Balmain getup, which was inspired by Balmain Fall 2023.

Beyoncé has another outfit to add to the collection of jaw-dropping looks, and this time it is a mesmerising blue dress.

The cut of the dress was an off the shoulder style, with the waist cinched in to one side.

She paired the look with blue satin gloves and accessorised with a glimmering diamanté choker.

Beyoncé's Renaissance Tour costumes as books: What to read with Beyoncé on the brain

Beyoncé’s epic Renaissance World Tour is here, and we're smitten.

In a review of Beyoncé's American tour opener in Philadelphia, USA TODAY's music critic Melissa Ruggieri wrote, "Beyoncé is an unstoppable force of precise movement and vocal dynamics, a superstar who, two months shy of turning 42 and in the where-did-the-time-go third decade of her career, has raised – and cleared – her own ambitious bar yet again."

One crucial ingredient to the tour's impact? The costumes. During her three-hour set, Beyoncé’s wardrobe is striking, full of gorgeous, custom-made piece by top designers. Her looks are so instantly iconic, we had to pair them with equally striking book covers that match the vibe.

Here's what to read when you've got Beyoncé on the brain.

'All of Our Demise,' by Amanda Foody and C.L. Herman

This show-stopping Loewe catsuit reminds us so much of the cover of “All of Our Demise,” the second in the “All of Us Villains” duology (and check out the red nails on the catsuit). This YA fantasy series is like if "The Hunger Games" had dark magic with some very rich, pretentious kids fighting against each other for their family’s right to control all the magic in their city. If you like morally gray characters and messy teen romances, you have to check this series out.

  • "All of Our Demise" at Amazon for $10
  • "All of Our Demise" at Bookshop for $18

'All Systems Red,' by Martha Wells

We love the futuristic metallics on this tour and how they embody some of our favorite science fiction covers. This bodysuit pairs perfectly with “All Systems Red,” the first of Wells’ novellas in her Murderbot Diaries series, which follows a self-aware security android given to a planetary exploration team in a corporate-dominated future. This series has swept the science fiction scene and its seventh installment, “System Collapse,” comes out Nov. 14.

  • "All Systems Red" at Amazon for $17
  • "All Systems Red" at Bookshop for $15

Beyoncé Renaissance tour 2023 set list: Full list of all songs in her nearly 3-hour show

'Silver Nitrate,' by Silvia Moreno-Garcia

This custom Off-White red suit is such a powerful statement piece and grabs your attention, just like the cover for Moreno-Garcia’s latest release, “Silver Nitrate.” The author of the bestselling book “Mexican Gothic” writes some of our favorite modern genre-benders. “Silver Nitrate,” set in Mexico City in the 1990s, is a dark thriller/horror following a sound editor and a faded soap opera star unraveling a decades-old curse on a lost film.

  • "Silver Nitrate" at Amazon for $23
  • "Silver Nitrate" at Bookshop for $26

'The Fragile Threads of Power,' by V.E. Schwab

This stunning custom dress by Roksanda has a floating skirt with matching gloves for an ethereal yet structured look, and it could not be a better fit for “The Fragile Threads of Power.” Schwab returns to the world of “A Darker Shade of Magic” with familiar friends and new enemies in a tale of alternate Londons in a magical feud with one another. We are obsessed with the original Shades of Magic trilogy and can’t wait to go back to Schwab’s London when the book releases Sept. 26.

  • "The Fragile Threads of Power" at Amazon for $27
  • "The Fragile Threads of Power" at Bookshop for $28

'Beholder,' by Ryan La Sala

This holographic mini-dress by David Koma is such an eye-catching look, as is the cover of La Sala's "Beholder." This upcoming YA horror is about aesthetics and supernatural conspiracy, following a teen art handler who can rewind the reflections in any mirror, allowing him to look into its recent past. This book is a wild ride that incorporating several genres, and we know it's going to be a hit when it comes out Oct. 3.

  • "Beholder" at Amazon for $19
  • "Beholder" at Bookshop for $18

'Forging a Nightmare,' by Patricia A. Jackson

This Del Core ensemble with a matching cape and boots atop a crystal horse is one of Beyoncé’s most dramatic looks of the Renaissance tour and it pairs perfectly with the epic cover of Jackson’s “Forging a Nightmare.” This is an adult urban fantasy mystery following an FBI detective who must solve a series of murders in New York City, and it puts a new spin on the four horsemen of the apocalypse –– what a ride!

  • "Forging a Nightmare" at Amazon for $11
  • "Forging a Nightmare" at Bookshop for $15

'The Bees,' by Laline Paull

Donning a custom, standout bee costume by Mugler, Beyoncé pays homage to her fandom, the Beyhive. So naturally, we had to pair this look with Paull’s “The Bees,” a fantasy dystopia about the court politics and inner workings of a bee hive told from the perspective of a lowly sanitation bee. Pitched as “The Handmaid’s Tale” meets “The Hunger Games,” this book has gorgeous prose and compelling drama. If you’re in the hive, this book is worth the buzz.

  • "The Bees" at Amazon for $15
  • "The Bees" at Bookshop for $16

How to Dress For Beyoncé's Inevitable "Cowboy Carter" Tour

beyonce tour costume budget

Ever since Beyoncé's critically acclaimed "Cowboy Carter" album debuted earlier this spring, social media has been abuzz about Queen Bey's potential return to the stage — even fresh off the heels of her "Renaissance" World Tour (because you can never have too much Beyoncé).

Of course with any Beyoncé concert, attendees are guaranteed a couple things: an otherworldly performance filled with stadium-shaking vocals, high-energy dance routines, and an electric setlist of back-to-back hits that only one of the world's greatest entertainers could nail nightly. While Beyoncé's concert outfits are always a topic of conversation, the visuals for her "Cowboy Carter" album have provided a whole new category of style inspiration for BeyHive members looking to mirror the star's inimitable aesthetic.

Stylistically, fans' "Cowboy Carter" outfits are bound to pay homage to the star's most beloved eras — think lots of glitzy, latex bodysuit looks á la "Renaissance" mixed with "I Am... Sasha Fierce"-inspired metallics and "Cowboy Carter"-esque country vibes. Much like her previous tours, we predict a sea of rhinestone-embellished ensembles teamed with cowgirl hats and statement pieces that play into the superstar's looks both on and off the red carpet — like over-the-knee boots , curve-defining dresses, denim jumpers, and bold jewelry.

Whether you want to channel the magic of a Beyoncé concert or immerse yourself in it for the first time, we've rounded up the best concert outfit ideas that are all inspired by the star herself — and perfect to wear to any upcoming stops on her "Cowboy Carter" tour.

From Levi's jeans and crystal Betsey Johnson boots to rhinestone-tassel cowgirl hats, these are looks you'll be excited to dance and scream-sing in all night long. Keep reading to shop our picks for the best Beyoncé-inspired outfits, with selects from Amazon, Revolve, Free People, and more.

Beyoncé Concert Outfits

Beyoncé Concert Outfits

Tassel Earrings ($10)

They say everything's bigger in Texas and these tassel earrings are larger than life. Waterfall rhinestones dangle off of a star-shaped centerpiece that's bound to add a little glitz to any outfit. We love that the accessory mirrors the look of the jewels Beyoncé sports in her "Cowboy Carter" visuals.

Main Image

Forever 21 Rhinestone Fringe Cowboy Hat ($35)

It's not custom couture, but you'll still feel like a country superstar rocking this fringe cowgirl hat at Beyoncé's "Cowboy Carter" tour. The rhinestone trim completes the accessory with a little extra sparkle that's designed to move with you as you're dancing and shaking your hips to Queen Bey's biggest country ballads — like "Spaghettii" or "Ya Ya."

Main Image

Feisedy Designer Sunglasses ($17, originally $21)

The lights never seem too bright for Queen Bey, but if you're looking for a Beyoncé-inspired accessory that'll give your concert outfit a little extra sass (and your eyes a little break from the major stage lights), you can't go wrong with these cat eye-like sunnies from Amazon.

Main Image

Deep V-Neck Sleeveless Corset Top ($30)

Corsets already feel synonymous with most of Beyoncé's album aesthetics, but this particular style features a cool black trim that just screams quintessential cowgirl. It's also made from a denim knit fabric that would pair beautifully with high-waisted denim pants — or Levi's jeans (IYKYK).

Main Image

Cider Diamond Tassels Ripped Denim Shorts ($28)

You can live out all of your cowgirl dreams with these eye-catching denim shorts, which feature diamond tassels along the pockets and a distressed hemline that'll complete any concert outfit with a leggier look.

Main Image

Topacc Western Metal Concho Belt ($19)

If you're shopping out the perfect concert outfit on a budget, you can still achieve Beyoncé levels of glam on the cheap. Case in point: this jewel-encrusted chain belt, which would layer beautifully over a pair of denim shorts or jeans.

Main Image

Free People Fringe Out Vegan Suede Jacket ($168)

While Beyoncé hasn't unveiled her "Cowboy Carter" concert outfits just yet, we have a feeling she'll lean heavily into the country aesthetic — with lots of denim, fringe, and silver accessories to match. This oversize suede jacket features a cool fringe lining along the sleeves that's peak Western core. You'll want to wear it on repeat this summer, even long after the show ends.

Main Image

Shiny Metallic Teddy Bodysuit ($46)

It simply wouldn't be a Beyoncé concert without a sparkly silver bodysuit worked somewhere into her tour outfit rotation. On the "Renaissance" Tour, Queen Bey opted for a sparkly red Off-White bodysuit with an oversize top hat to match. For a similar look (with a cowgirl twist), we recommend pairing this thong bodysuit from Amazon with a pair of dark-wash denim for a sultry ensemble that'll match your high-level energy come showtime.

Main Image

Levi's 501 Original Chaps ($108)

Beyoncé makes her love for Levi's jeans well known all throughout her "Cowboy Carter" record, and this pair offers a little extra country twang with its colorblock design that mirrors the look of traditional chaps.

Main Image

Betsey Johnson Dalas Rhinestones Cowgirl Boots ($249)

As far as Beyoncé outfit ideas go, you can never go wrong with working a pair of rhinestone-embellished cowgirl boots into the mix, and this calf-high style from Betsey Johnson is all the rage this season. The boots blend the aesthetics of the "Cowboy Carter" album with the "Renaissance" album and pay homage to the singer's Texas roots with a cool futuristic flair.

Main Image

Windsor Wild At Heart Long Fringe Skirt ($30)

The moment "Texas Hold 'Em" starts playing, expect to see us swaying around the venue like it's a real-life boogie — and in this fringe maxi, no less. The lengthy fringe is primed for dancing and you can pair it with knee-high cowgirl boots for a more robust look.

Main Image

Kelsey Randall x Revolve Vena Vest ($468)

Add a little ritz and glitz to your concert attire with this fringe vest from Revolve. We'd pair the vest with a cropped white tank and denim mini skirt to match. Don't worry about over-accessorizing with jewelry or statement earrings — the crystal embellishments speak for themselves.

Main Image

Silence + Noise Devon Crescent Bag ($39, originally $49)

Throw this studded crescent bag over your shoulder and get ready for the real-life hoedown that the "Cowboy Carter" tour is bound to become. The lightweight bag boasts a saddle-inspired design that'll look cute with any outfit, plus it boasts ample interior space so you can carry your phone, keys, and emergency lipstick with ease.

Tina Knowles praises Beyoncé and Taylor Swift for boosting the economy. See how much their tours have made

Tina Knowles is celebrating two of 2023’s hottest tickets — Beyoncé’s “Renaissance Tour” and Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour.”

On Instagram , Knowles shared a screenshot of a Facebook post from New York Times , which linked out to an article that detailed the economic and cultural impact of her daughter Beyoncé’s tour.

In the caption of her post, Knowles wrote, “This is so awesome ! To b able to stimulate the economy is no small feat! @beyonce.”

Knowles also gave a sweet nod to Swift in her caption, adding, “And ! @taylorswift ! Just being young women and being able to say this , is so awesome!!! Proud of them both !”

Beyoncé and Swift’s tours overlapped in the United States during the summer. Both were a pop culture sensation, with social media platforms inundated by various trends coming out of each tour.

For Swift’s “Eras Tour,” friendship bracelets and DIY themed costumes became the norm while Beyoncé’s “Renaissance” world tour birthed the “mute” challenge and had concertgoers following her request for a silver theme in celebration of Virgo season.

With Beyoncé’s tour wrapping up on Oct. 1 and Swift’s on-going tour resuming Nov. 9 in Argentina, both tours have already generated millions of dollars along the way.

Read on to learn more about each tour's economic impact.

How much has the “Renaissance Tour” made?

Beyoncé’s “Renaissance Tour” kicked off May 10 in Sweden and will conclude Oct. 1 in Kansas City. Before the tour kicked off, Forbes estimated that Beyoncé would earn nearly $2.1 billion from her tour.

The “Cuff It” singer’s tour set multiple records over the summer, including back-to-back records for the highest one-month gross in history in both July and August, according to a Sept. report by Billboard .

In July, she grossed $127.6 million and in August, that number increased to $179 million. The outlet also reported the “Renaissance Tour” became the highest grossing tour by a female artist, surpassing Madonna's “Sticky & Sweet Tour” with $461.3 million.

During the “Renaissance Tour,” Beyoncé also gave back $2 million to students and small business through her charity foundation, BeyGOOD. Half of the donations went to entrepreneurs, with luncheons hosted by BeyGOOD the day before each show for a chance to win a $100 thousand grant. The other portion of the $2 million donation was allocated to the Renaissance Scholarship Fund.

Beyoncé’s tour spawned several special moments over the course of its run, including a special tribute to the late Tina Turner , a birthday surprise from Diana Ross , as well as numerous performances alongside her eldest daughter, Blue Ivy.

It was also a hotspot for celebrities including Leonardo DiCaprio, Vanessa Bryant, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, and more.

How much has the “Eras Tour” made?

Swift’s “Eras Tour” originally ran from March 17 through August 9. Throughout the year, Swift added on additional dates including several international dates in 2023 and 2024 as well as additional 2024 dates in the United States and internationally.

While Swift’s tour still has 13 months to go, so far it’s been estimated she's earned $1 billion in sales , with Pollstar estimating the singer will exceed $1.4 billion in the new year .

Swift's economic impact far has exceeded solely ticket sales, too. The tour also increased revenue for hotels across the country, with fans flocking to each city to experience her career-sprawling performances.

It was also reported Swift made several donations with her tour’s earnings, including donating to local food banks at each stop and gifting $100,000 bonus checks to her truck drivers at the end of the U.S. leg of the tour.

The singer’s tour is also set to hit the big screen in the United States, and now internationally. In a press release, AMC said that it took less than 24 hours for the film to “shatter AMC’s U.S. record for the highest ticket-sales revenue during a single day in AMC’s 103-year history.”

Swift’s “Eras Tour” was not without its faults though.

The singer spoke out against Ticketmaster after fans struggled to obtain tickets to the tour due to “historically unprecedented demand” causing the website to crash. The debacle sparked public scrutiny, including questions from senators , and elicited changes from the company before Beyoncé’s “Renaissance Tour” tickets went on sale.

Beyoncé’s Tour Style Slays! The Most Showstopping Costumes From Her Kickoff Show

By Marjon Carlos

beyonce

We perhaps saw this coming. While Beyoncé poured us a hefty glass of lemonade with the release of her visual album of the same name last Saturday, we knew the hour-long feature-length film and 12-track album was simply a taste of what was to come. After all, the first night of her Formation world tour was days away, kicking off in Miami last night for a 41-date stretch. And as Bey strode into the Marlins arena like a lawless desperado under the wide, eye-skimming brim of her now trademark Barons hat—nay, sombrero—we knew a visual spectacle was about to be served cold.

In the same shape-shifting mode as Lemonade ’s costumes , Bey stalked the 3-D stage all night, morphing into new personas with the help of her seven showstopping looks, all styled by Marni Senofonte. A compendium of references from the Wild Wild West to the antebellum South to the shorelines of Africa—even BDSM dungeons—the high-octane looks were as explosive as her pyrotechnics show. Slithering about in a red latex bodysuit and matching platform over-the-knee boots, Bey was simply combustible, at once demure and a complete vixen, as her husband, Jay Z , looked on. Line dancing in zebra-print boots and a sequined army-inspired leotard, her blonde curls blowing in the wind, Bey appeared like a high-fashion buffalo soldier.

She fell into formation with her squad of backup dancers, slaying in a long-sleeve Balmain French lace bodysuit, embroidered with pearls and stones, and matching gray suede boots. And after chucking her platform footwear all together, Bey began dancing barefoot in puddles of water while wearing a sequined bodice. And if her costumes weren’t enough, the outspoken provocateur sold “Boycott Beyoncé” T-shirts as official tour merch, a cheeky challenge to the backlash she received for her pro–Black Lives Matter message. While her costumes will likely change even more as her tour gets further underway, we know the message will only grow stronger.

Beyonce is in need of a whole new performance wardrobe after announcing her On the Run II tour with JAY-Z earlier this month, and ET has an exclusive look at one of her possible costumes!

Only ET's Lauren Zima was with designer Mark Zunino at his Los Angeles studio on Monday, where he showed off a $20,000 jumpsuit he's making for none other than Queen Bey.

"I have three jumpsuits and some personal clothes that I'm making and she's wonderful," Zunino gushed as he showed off one special piece in a glittering gold color with a structured top that Beyonce can really move in. "What everybody likes is the fact that they can move and dance, and it's not going anywhere."

Zunino got his start decades ago, making costumes for  Dynasty , and has worked with seemingly ever star in Hollywood since, from Katy Perry to Julia Roberts to Angelina Jolie. He even dressed ET's Nancy O'Dell, Nischelle Turner and Zima for Oscars events -- but it's Beyonce who might be his most particular client, despite the fact that "she can wear anything."

"She is quick and she's definite, and that's wonderful. Women like that have been exposed to so much... they know what it's going to look like on them, so it makes it really easy," he said, adding that for this request, Bey asked to "'Show me beaded, solid beaded things,' and I was like, 'Do you want something hand-beaded or pre-beaded?' And she goes, 'Pre-beaded is OK.'"

"Shows are really specific because [of the] dance moves," Zunino explained. "That was the thing with Jennifer [Lopez], she's really moving. Like with Britney Spears , she moves, but it's not so technical, to the clothing. The same thing with Mariah [Carey]. But Beyonce, you never know, because she is all over the stage, so her stuff, it's got to be you can do anything."

That's why Bey has become a big fan of the jumpsuit. "I started with her when no one was wearing them. Then everybody started wearing them," Zunino said. "She still wears them, and now everyone is in the vibe where a jumpsuit is normal."

Zunino first started working with Beyonce seven years ago, telling ET that when his team first told him she wanted to work with him, he was in disbelief.

"She was here, and my office told me, and I said, 'I don't believe you,' because I had just given an interview and said that's who I want to dress, so I didn't show up," he revealed. "I went to the gym and I came back an hour and a half later... and it's Beyonce."

"She said, 'I've been waiting for you,' and I'm like, 'I'm so sorry!' and I told her the story and she laughed and she stayed for, like, another two hours, and that was my meeting with her," he continued. "It's strange how that stuff happens."

As for who Zunino is dying to dress next? "You know who I haven't had who I want is Rihanna, desperately," he confessed, before describing his other celebrity clients.

"[Working with Jolie was] amazing," he said. "She's very particular, which is wonderful. I love that."

"[Lopez is] wonderful too, because she looks good in everything, and she's huge into fashion," Zunino said. "There are things that she wears that I'm a little bit surprised."

For Zunino, every celebrity is "a little bit different," and it's often his job to read their vibe and get them into the rhythm of choosing the perfect look. " Sofia Vergara , she will say, 'I'm in a sh**ty mood. I had a horrible day and I'm sad and I'm coming anyway,' and I'm like, 'OK.' So we start off quiet, and then we're good, and then it rolls into it."

"Everybody has high-stress jobs," he added. "We're used to that."

Taylor Swift spends ‘$4.3 million’ on hair, makeup, costumes, & stylist ‘army’ for tour who deal with big ‘hole’ problem

THE extravagant glitz and glamor of Taylor Swift's Eras tour doesn't come cheap.

The U.S. Sun has spoken to two behind-the-scenes consultants for what is ready to become the largest grossing tour ever , surpassing Taylor's record of $1.2 billion from 2023.

Taylor Swift has different costume changes during her three-and-a-half hour set

And both help break down the logistics of playing a 161-show world tour, including a mammoth 100-day, 51-gig stretch in Europe .

The U.S Sun has already revealed the cost of security for Taylor and her entourage this summer across the pond is a whopping $30 million.

The effort, workload and cost are staggering for, what one of the insiders claims, is the continent's "largest and most expensive tour" of all time.

The U.S. Sun has been told the total amount of money spent on hair, makeup and wages for the members of her back-up band which help crash out the tunes night after night for the European stretch which started in Paris earlier this month and ends in London in August, is an eye-watering $4.3 million.

"We are like an army," said one external consultant in coordinating makeup and hair stylists for the Euro Part of the Eras tour. "But everyone involved loves this kind of challenge."

MASSIVE BUDGET

The source, who has 20 years experience of working for Rihanna , and Beyonce , says every location throws up its challenges when it comes to making Taylor, the backup dancers, vocalists, and band members sparkle on stage.

"With such long shows and changes in temperature and humidity, we are always having to adapt," she added.

According to the source, 10 make-up artists are working on the entirety of the European stretch of Eras, each earning around $65,000 for three months' work.

The budget for the whole tour for products alone comes in at $500,000.

The U.S Sun has been told the total cost of Taylor's different costumes is over $1 million

Although Taylor mixes up her live performances with some solo slots, her team of 15 backup dancers bring some serious energy when called upon.

Just like the superstar main attraction, they have 10 different outfits for the three-and-a-half hour performance. Each one costs around $1,500, with the dancers' costume budget coming in at $225,000.

When performing hits like Are You Ready for It, the 34-year-old superstar is flanked by her on-stage pals, throwing out some serious moves.

It sends the fans wild - but also causes a few headaches for the wardrobe department.

"The fans also come to the concerts for the costumes, and the styles, but we often have to adjust and fix outfits," said one of our insiders.

"Because of the intensity of the dance movements, holes sometimes appear."

CLASSY COSTUMES

Taylor's 10 costume changes revolve around expensive designs from the likes of Versace and Roberto Cavalli.

The Versace number is valued at $50,000, while the three Cavalli come in at $255,000. The budget for Taylor's on-stage look, which also includes a $140,000 Oscar de la Renta dress, is $1.3 million.

That's not including, however, accessories such as rings, bracelets and some Swarovski jewelry, totaling $1,2 million.

She has two full-time make up artists, and between products and material, it costs around 3000 dollars per show just for her makeup, which works out at $153,000.

Her shoes, which mostly consist of her favorite Louboutin's , total $195,000 dollars.

Hairstylists are on board for $3,000 a show.

"Taylor has great taste, she is always giving us feedback and the teamwork is very beneficial" said the 15-year industry veteran who's also worked with Katy Perry .

"The outfits are marvelous, and they really fit her personality, her image and her art."

AMAZING EXPERIENCE

With an average of 44 songs in a show, Taylor relies on the energy, and talent, of her back-up band.

There are six instrumentalists who also need 10 different outfits at $1,000 each and likewise with the team of four backing vocalists, who have a $60,000 budget to boost their own looks.

To put the spending into some kind of context, legendary Irish rockers U2 grossed a then record from 2009 to 2011, making $736,421,584 from 110 shows

Problem was, it was costing the band $750,000 to keep the show on the road, and that's without taking into account the cost of building the elaborate sets.

With Taylor poised to break the $2 billion barrier in 2024, there's money to spend in the pursuit to deliver a show worthy of some of the exorbitant ticket prices, especially in the United States.

"The budget is huge, as the show and the outfits, wardrobe and styles for this tour have been prepared and programmed to be a whole ‘tribute’ to her career so far," added the style specialist.
