The former Oasis rocker and Shirley Manson and co will visit the length and breadth of North America, with dates in June and July which will see them play everywhere from Santa Barbara, California to Boston, Massachusetts.

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Garbage Plot Co-Headlining Summer Tour

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds — surely to the dismay of Oasis super fan Matty Healy — will hit the road again this summer on a joint-headlining tour with Garbage .

The tour will kick off June 2 at the White River Amphitheatre in Auburn, Washington, and wrap July 15 at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston. Metric will provide support throughout the tour (save for a July 3 show in Toronto).

Tickets for all shows will go on sale this Friday, Feb. 17, at 10 a.m. local time. Full information is available on Gallagher’s and Garbage’s websites.

Noel Gallagher Announces Co-Headlining Tour With Garbage

Noel Gallagher has announced a co-headlining tour of North America with Garbage.

Gallagher's High Flying Birds will kick things off on June 2 in Auburn, Wash., followed by appearances in Los Angeles, Denver, Dallas, Chicago, Toronto, New York City and other cities. The tour will conclude on July 15 in Boston. In addition to Garbage, Canadian rock band Metric will also appear on the bill.

The Oasis founder will also release his fourth album with the High Flying Birds,  Council Skies , on June 2. “It's going back to the beginning. Daydreaming, looking up at the sky and wondering about what life could be," Gallagher said of the LP when it was announced. "That’s as true to me now as it was in the early ‘90s. When I was growing up in poverty and unemployment, music took me out of that."

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Garbage are going on tour together, a co-headlining run that begins in June. Metric will open most of the shows. Find the dates below.

Gallagher and his High Flying Birds last issued the EP Black Star Dancing in 2019, which they followed with a 2021 greatest hits collection . Their next album is Council Skies , which arrives on June 2 via Gallagher’s Sour Mash imprint. So far, they’ve shared “ Pretty Boy ” and “Easy Now” from the album. Garbage last issued No Gods No Masters in 2021.

Garbage and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will be supported by Metric, who released their most recent album Formentera last year. It was their most commercially successful release in a decade and was accompanied by a sold-out tour spanning the US, Canada, the UK and Europe.

Oasis reveal announcement time of US tour dates

Earlier this week, NME confirmed the cities outside of Europe the band would be playing on their 2025 reunion tour

Oasis have revealed the announcement time for the US and Canada shows that will be part of their 2025 reunion tour.

On Thursday, NME exclusively revealed the list of cities in North America, Asia, Australia and South America that the Britpop legends will be playing as part of their 2025 comeback, in addition to the originally-announced UK and Ireland dates .

Now, on the band’s official X account, they have posted four photographs of billboards of the band in major North American cities, alongside the caption: “MONDAY 8AM ET #OasisLive25”.

No further information about the dates of the shows has yet been shared.

Oasis’ last show in North America was on December 20, 2008 at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia as part of their tour in support of ‘ Dig Out Your Soul ’, their seventh and to date most recent studio album.

The sale of the UK and Ireland shows proved to be a controversial affair, with some fans experiencing long queues and technical difficulties , and some tickets being sold at inflated prices due to “dynamic” surge pricing .

In response, Oasis provided “a small step towards making amends for the situation” by  announcing two extra Wembley Stadium dates  that were sold in staggered batches via an invite-only ballot. The band also said that they  “at no time had any awareness that dynamic pricing was going to be used” .

“It needs to be made clear that Oasis leave decisions on ticketing and pricing entirely to their promoters and management, and at no time had any awareness that dynamic pricing was going to be used,” they said in a statement.

The  Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has since launched an investigation into the practice of dynamic pricing .

Speculation is rife about  who will be included in the reunited Oasis line-up alongside Liam and Noel Gallagher . Original guitarist Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs is reportedly set to be involved, with other rumoured members including  guitarist Gem Archer  and bassist Andy Bell. Drummer  Alan White also sparked rumours  on his social media, but  NME  is led to believe he will not be part of the line-up. Liam has since teased that  the line-up could feature “a few new faces “.

Following on from his  victorious Reading 2024 headline set , last weekend saw  Liam perform Oasis classics ahead of the Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois boxing match  at Wembley Stadium, before  hitting out at “SHITC**T” critics who complained online about the sound of his vocals . He then  bid farewell to his band as he played his last scheduled solo show in Malta.

'Here we go': Oasis tease further dates for 2025 tour

Oasis fans have been sent into meltdown after the band teased an upcoming announcement.

Oasis have sent fans wild by teasing an upcoming announcement ahead of their world tour next year.

Brothers Noel Gallagher, 57, and Liam Gallagher, 51, who last performed together in 2009, have reunited for the Oasis Live '25 world tour next year. Tickets for the UK and Ireland gigs - include massive homecoming shows at Heaton Park - sold out on the day they were released.

But while the locations for the rest of the tour have been revealed, no other details have yet been revealed. On Saturday night the band posted on X that they will be sharing some news on Monday. It comes following speculation of the potential additional locations the band will visit on the world tour.

The post included photos of billboards up in locations including Times Square in New York for the upcoming tour. Another photo is thought to show a billboard on Yonge Street in Toronto. The tweet read: "MONDAY, 8AM ET #OasisLive25." The billboards read: "Be careful what you wish for."

One person responded: "Getting super excited for you to announce your US shows." Another speculation ahead of the news on Monday: "US dates announcement." A third reacted to the tweet: "Yasssssss finally!" Whilst another fan wrote: "Here we go." Someone else said: "We are waiting."

Ahead of any announcement, it was reported earlier this week that sources told NME that the tour is set to visit Toronto in Canada, as well as Chicago, East Rutherford, Boston and Los Angeles in the US. The tour will reportedly also visit Mexico, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Brazil, Chile and Argentina.

It was confirmed last month that the band will be touring the UK and Ireland next year for their reunion. Tickets went on sale shortly afterwards and it was announced later that same day that tickets for the UK and Ireland shows had sold out, with some fans left disappointed in the process.

As previously reported, some fans were said to have been met with an error message when they had tried to buy tickets. A spokesperson for Ticketmaster, one of the official ticket sites for the tour, denied the website had crashed and urged fans to "to hold their place in line" at one point.

Oasis is gearing up for another big announcement.

On Saturday (Sept. 28), the recently reunited Britpop shared images on social media of large advertisements on buildings featuring a black-and-white photo of brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher and a teaser scheduled for early Monday (Sept. 30) morning about Oasis’ Live ’25 international tour.

It was unclear at press time which cities the billboards were located in, but eagle-eyed fans in the post’s comments section on X (formerly Twitter) speculated that two of the buildings were in Toronto and Chicago.

Both teasers follows Oasis’ reunion tour announcement in late August. The long-feuding Gallagher brothers will hit the road in 2025 for multiple dates across the British Isles, including Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin, for what will be their “only shows in Europe next year.”

Liam and Noel have also promised an extended international run in the near future. “Plans are underway for OASIS LIVE ’25 to go to other continents outside of Europe later next year,” a statement read.

Oasis split in 2009 after years of massive chart success and tabloid headlines in the U.K. tied to the Gallagher siblings’ fierce rivalry, with main songwriter older brother Noel quitting the band after a backstage fight with Liam at a show near Paris that year. The brothers haven’t performed live since then, though they often play Oasis songs during their solo gigs and with their side bands and, until the reunion announcement, continued to snipe at each other online and in the press.

In early September, Liam  teased the possibility of new music from Oasis. After receiving a question from a fan on X about about a forthcoming album, the singer-songwriter replied, “Yep it’s already finished.” When another fan inquired if a new music project was “in the air,” Liam wrote, “It’s in the bag mate f— the air.” And one word to describe the supposed album? “TURDOS,” he added.

Oasis Australian dates: Noel and Liam Gallagher to tour Sydney and Melbourne, according to NME

OK, Australian Oasis fans.

So, either you spent seven hours that Saturday night trying to, in vain, buy tickets to the UK and Ireland shows or the $10,000 you were going to have to sink into a return trip to England in the first place was a non-starter.

Now, it looks like the brothers Gallagher could be on their way to Australia.

According to British music bible NME sources — so, not officially confirmed — Oasis already have a list of international stops for a global tour, and Melbourne and Sydney are both on it.

Oasis has previously toured Australia during its first iteration and both Noel and Liam have separately played down under with their solo acts since the band broke up.

That’s great news for anyone (i.e. most people) who missed out on tickets to the UK and Ireland tour.

NME wrote that an announcement was expected in the coming week.

The other cities on the list include Boston, East Rutherford in New Jersey, Los Angeles and Chicago, Toronto, Mexico City, Tokyo, Seoul, Sao Paulo, Santiago and Buenos Aires.

Noel and Liam Gallagher revealed in August Oasis would reform after breaking up 15 years ago, and decades of bitter feuding between the brothers.

The band initially announced 14 concerts across the UK and Ireland in London, Dublin, Cardiff, Edinburgh and, of course, their hometown of Manchester. Feverish demand saw three extra shows added before tickets went on sale.

The ticket buying process was a debacle with fans experiencing frustrating online queues that ran into the hundreds of thousands while trying to secure tickets for a single venue that only held 90,000 people.

There were also numerous reports of would-be ticket buyers waiting hours before reaching the front, only for Ticketmaster’s system to accuse them of being a bot and kicking them back to the end of the line.

Perhaps the most rancorous criticism of the process was the use of dynamic pricing which saw the prices of even standing tickets priced at £355 despite being publicly advertised at £148, and including no extra benefits or access.

In response, the band issued a statement. It said, “While prior meetings between promoters, Ticketmaster and the band’s management resulted in a positive ticket sale strategy, which would be a fair experience for fans, including dynamic ticketing to help keep general ticket prices down as well as reduce touting, the execution of the plan failed to meet expectations.

“All parties involved did their utmost to deliver the best possible fan experience, but due to the unprecedented demand this became impossible to achieve.”

The European Commission announced it would investigate the impact of dynamic pricing following the torrent of complaints. This would apply only to the EU which includes Ireland.

Oasis also added two extra Wembley shows after the first ticket release which was only available through a ballot system for fans who missed out earlier.

Oasis’s heyday was in the 1990s as Britpop dominated the charts, starting with the Definitely Maybe album in 1994. The Gallagher brothers were notoriously tempestuous, especially towards each other, and Oasis disbanded in 2009 after Noel quit ahead of a 2009 Paris concert.

When word got around that Oasis would be reuniting to play a tour , an image circulated showing a list of unconfirmed tour dates.

On that list: New Jersey ’s very own MetLife Stadium .

Now NME reports that the band is indeed headed to the East Rutherford venue as part of its reunion tour next year.

As brothers Noel Gallagher and Liam Gallagher announced last month, Oasis Live ‘25 is set to kick off in Cardiff , Wales July 4 and 5 before heading to their hometown of Manchester , England July 11, 12, 16, 19 and 20.

The band plays London July 25, 26, 30 and August 2 and 3; Edinburgh , Scotland August 8, 9 and 12; and Dublin , Ireland August 16 and 17.

All of the above dates are sold out.

The date of any MetLife shows are unknown, and the Gallaghers have not confirmed the report that they’ll play Jersey, but NME says an announcement is expected in a week or so.

The previously rumored dates for the MetLife gigs were August 30 and 31, which would be almost two weeks after their shows in Ireland.

Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher are known for their feuds as well as their music.

They went their separate ways and broke up the band 15 years ago — their last show together was in 2009.

“The guns have fallen silent ,” the band said in its reunion tour announcement in August. “The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised .”

But now not only are they reuniting for a tour, they’ve also apparently made a new album , according to one very vocal Gallagher.

“Yep it’s already finished,” Liam Gallagher, 52, told a fan earlier this month on X (formerly Twitter).

Liam, who is known for his prolific tweeting, also confirmed via tweet that the band would be playing the United States.

The MetLife concerts so far look to be the only ones scheduled for the New York-New Jersey area.

NME says the band is also playing Boston, Chicago and Los Angeles as well as Mexico , Canada, South America, South Korea, Japan and Australia .

Since 2010, Noel Gallagher, 57, has played with his band Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds . Liam Gallagher performs as a solo act, and from 2009 to 2014 was frontman of the band Beady Eye .

Oasis guitarists Andy Bell and Gem Archer played in Beady Eye, as did drummer Chris Sharrock. Archer and Sharrock then toured with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.

Oasis broke out in 1994 with the debut album “ Definitely Maybe ,” which topped the album chart in United Kingdom and went platinum in the U.S. The single “ Live Forever ” made the UK top 10.

The Live ′25 reunion tour coincides with the 30th anniversary of the band’s 1995 sophomore album, “ (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? ” which peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 in 1996. The hit song “ Wonderwall ” charted at No. 8.

Oasis, founded in Manchester in 1991, has released seven studio albums.

“ Be Here Now ” (1997), the band’s third album, reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The group’s most recent release, the 2008 album “ Dig Out Your Soul ,” hit No. 5.
