Raniganj Vriksh Vatika

The ‘Raniganj Vriksh Vatika’ is 30 kilometres west of the Araria District Headquarters in Bihar State. It is 25 kilometres east of S.H. 77, which is 310 kilometres north-east of Patna, and forbesganj four-lane (NH 57) to South Kursela. The Bihar government has designated this area as forest land. Hasanpur Balu Dhima was the previous name for the region currently known as Raniganj Vriksh Vatika. This natural woodland region, which covers 289 acres, has been developed. Its altered nature has been given an appealing appearance to meet the demands of tourists. Currently, ‘Raniganj Vriksh Vatika’ is a highly attractive, gorgeous tourist site in Bihar State, suitable for nature and health enthusiasts, as well as a research centre.

Bio-Diversity Park Kusiargaon

The first biodiversity park in Bihar is now open at Araria’s Kusiargaon. It creates a route for scholars to follow. The park is also encouraging tourism at the same time. Due to its location on NH-57, barely 10 kilometres from the district offices, the park is unable to escape the gaze of people who travel from afar.

Broad gauge rail serves as a train facility. National Highway 57 is nearby. The bus station provides service to most of the districts and internal blocks. Araria has two bus stations, one at 0 mile and the other in the city. Buses are provided for most of the districts, as well as for internal blocks.

Hooch tragedy hits ‘dry’ Bihar; 3 dead, 2 in hospital

PATNA: Three persons died, and two others fell sick after consuming spurious liquor in Bihar’s Sitamarhi district during the last 36 hours. The victims are undergoing treatment at a government hospital at the district headquarters where their condition is stated to be stable.

The incident took place between Jaynagar and Araria villages under Sonbasra and Kanhauli blocks, close to India-Nepal border, in Sitamarhi district. All the five victims had consumed country-made liquor at a local vend late on Saturday evening.

The condition of the victims started deteriorating early on Sunday. Lal Babu Rai (50), a resident of Jaynagar, died soon after being admitted to a local private hospital. He had complained of acute abdomen pain, loss of eyesight, headache and nausea.

The same day, another victim identified as Uma Sah (55), a resident of Araria village died during treatment. The third deceased was identified as Gaurishankar Rau (45), a resident of Jaynagar village. The third victim died on Tuesday. Those undergoing treatment have been identified as Jagat Mahto (33) and Chhotan Mahto (20).

अररिया:- जिले में एक अनोखा पुल है, जहां सीढ़ी लगाकर लोग चढ़ते हैं. 8 साल पहले इसका निर्माण हुआ था और खबरों में इसकी बदहाल स्थिति को सभी के सामने दिखाया गया था. इसके बाद जिला प्रशासन सजग हुआ और अब यहां सड़क मार्ग का निर्माण किया जाएगा. जिलाधिकारी अररिया-सह-समाहर्ता अररिया ने मजगवां चिल्हानिया पुल अप्रोच संबंधित बाधा का निवारण करते हुए भूमि लीज नीति 2014 के तहत किसानों का जमीन बिहार सरकार के नाम से निःशुल्क रजिस्ट्री का आदेश दे दिया है. अब बहुत जल्द किसानों को जमीन अधिग्रहण मुआवजा राशि मिल जाएगा, जिससे अप्रोच निर्माण का रास्ता साफ हो गया है.

इतने करोड़ में बना था पुल अररिया जिले के जोकिहाट प्रखंड के मजगामा में ग्रामीण कार्य विभाग के एक अनोखे पुल की तस्वीर सामने आई है, जिसने क्षेत्र के ग्रामीणों को भारी परेशानी में डाल दिया है. परमान नदी पर प्रधानमंत्री ग्राम सड़क योजना के अंतर्गत करीब 3 करोड़ 43 लाख रुपये की लागत से आरसीसी पुल का निर्माण किया गया था. हालांकि, पुल का निर्माण 2016 में ही पूरा कर दिया गया था. लेकिन अब तक इसके दोनों ओर न तो सड़क बनाई गई है और न ही एप्रोच पथ का निर्माण हुआ है.

दो साल पहले ही दिए जा चुके कागजात इस योजना की कार्यकारी एजेंसी खुद ग्रामीण कार्य विभाग है, लेकिन एप्रोच पथ के लिए जरूरी निजी जमीन की खरीद न हो पाने के कारण पुल अधूरा ही रह गया है. ग्रामीणों ने लोकल 18 को बताया कि एप्रोच पथ के लिए जरूरी कागजात दो साल पहले ही दिए जा चुके हैं, लेकिन वे अभी भी सरकारी कार्यालयों में लंबित है.
