FULL PACKAGE DETAILS Bosun’s Package – Why not include a fun cruise with your Hen Party. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere of a cruise on board the luxurious party boat, which includes a indoor heated lounge area and top deck open-air viewing area. Sailing from Woodquay in the heart of Galway City along the beautiful River Corrib. Full bar service available. Full commentary on points of interest. Complimentary glass of Bubbly on arrival. Groups can bring their own cupcakes, sandwiches, snacks etc… no hot food. NOTE: No alcohol allowed to be brought on board – full bar on board.

Your group will receive top quality food and service, vegetarian and coeliac catered for. 3 course meal option also available.

BAR –  your group will have Reserved Seating & SHOT each in a top Galway Bar.

DISCO BAR –  your group will have Reserved Seating & glass of Bubbly each in a top Galway Disco Bar.

The party cruise Galway aka the booze cruise in Galway, runs from March to October each year. There is a fully stocked bar onboard, gather your hens and party on the cruiser for 2 hours, whilst taking in the lovely scenery of Galway.

The cruiser holds up to 60 people at the one time so, there will be lots of other groups on board.

This is a great daytime activity for a hen party in Galway.

Book the perfect hen or stag night with Moon River

The Moon River is one of the most popular hen and stag night destinations in Carrick-on-Shannon.

With live music aboard the cruiser, as well as fully stocked and licensed bar, the Moon River is the ideal place to host your hen or stag party.

Our hen & stag nights cost €20 per person for 1-hour sailing and they run every Saturday throughout the year at the following times:

• 4:30pm – 5:30pm
• 6:00pm – 7:00pm
• 7:30pm – 8:30pm
• 9:00pm – 10:00pm
• 10:30pm – 11:30pm

Our Boogie Bus will collect you and your party outside Murtaghs Bar about 15 minutes before your boarding time.

We’ll also drop you back at Murtagh’s Bar after all the fun has been had.

Booking hen & stag parties

You can make a provisional booking at first and then 4 weeks prior to your cruise you’ll be asked to make a deposit.

You can either pay the rest of the payment on the day with cash only or call the office and pay the remainder with credit or debit card before you arrive.

10 days before your arrival at our cruiser we’ll need to finalise the exact number of party members.

When to arrive and where to go

Make sure you’re ready to go as soon as our Boogie Bus pulls up outside Murtaghs Bar. This will ensure that we get you and your party to the boat on time for boarding and departure.

If you’re or one of your party members is late, the cruise will depart without you and a refund won’t be possible.

If you miss the Boogie Bus or are finding your own way there the Moon River cruiser departs opposite the Landmark Hotel along the quayside in Carrick-on- Shannon.

While onboard Moon River?

Onboard the Moon River luxury cruiser there is a fully licensed bar – so no need to bring alcohol onboard.

Management has the right to refuse anybody who is under the influence of alcohol from boarding the Moon River. This is for health and safety reasons.

Inflatable objects are also not allowed aboard the Moon River for health and safety reasons.

Set sail on the Corrib Princess and discover the tranquil scenery of the Corrib river all the way to Lough Corrib, the largest lake in the Republic of Ireland. Depart from Steamer’s Quay in Woodquay, only a short stroll from Galway city centre. Once onboard you’ll take a wonderful journey past Galway University and it’s sports grounds, the old iodine factory, Menlo Castle and other sites of historical and cultural interest. Enjoy food and drinks on board with beer on tap and delightful Irish Coffee’s. The experienced and helpful crew will ensure you have an excursion to remember.

About the River sightseeing trip

Cruises depart daily at 12:30 and 2:30 from May through September, with an additional cruise at 4:30 in July and August. Live narrated commentary highlights all of the journey’s attractions en route. A full range of bar services available with comfortable seating provided on the upper deck and in the saloon. On-board restrooms are available. Groups can request commentaries in a wide variety of European languages. Evening cruises are perfect for any kind of celebration, whether it be a business function, a social gathering, a birthday bash, a hen party, or a family occasion.
