Europ Assistance will cover medical and expenses in the event of sudden illness or accident that occurs while the insured person is travelling outside his or her resident country.

Coverage includes medical fees, medication costs, hospitalisation expenses, transfer fees that are ordered by a doctor and repatriation costs.

Europ Assistance will cover the costs and organise repatriation of the mortal remains of the insured person in the event of death. This includes the costs of embalming, the legal minimum coffin and administrative procedures.

Optional Courier Service charge at satellite locations: -

• PHP 400 per Passport (inclusive of all taxes)

Applicants who do not wish to collect their documents in person and whose documents cannot be collected by one of the above should select pass back by courier at the time they make their visa application

Please note passports will be delivered to applicant’s home address office address

The applicants are requested to mention the complete delivery address on the covering letter. In case no specific address is mentioned on the covering letter, the passport will be sent to the address mentioned on the Visa Application Form.

This procedural change is to ensure the safe and secure return of documents to applicants.

The courier form should have the address of the applicant’s residence or office only.

In case an applicant wants to personally collect the passport from the BLS International office then she/he does not require to opt for courier.

The courier service is available for an additional fee of PHP 400/- per Passport (inclusive of Service tax)

Minors below the age of 20 travelling without parents or guardians need to provide Consent Letter & Birth Certificate in English to be issued by The District & Legalized by The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs, please ensure the Visa application form needs to be signed by both the parents.

Holders of Thai official passports traveling to Spain for official purposes should not apply for visa at BLS, but directly at the Embassy. In order to get the required application appointment, they must send an e-mail to [email protected] presenting their case (including copy of the required Note Verbale from the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs on their official trip to Spain, if they already have such Note Verbale). Schengen visas on official passports are free of charge if their holders apply directly at the Embassy prior appointment and with the required Note Verbale.

Holders of Thai diplomatic passports do not need visa for Spain, as per the bilateral agreement on exemption of visas for diplomatic passports between the Kingdoms of Spain and Thailand, 2nd June 2010.

Holders of diplomatic and official passports from other nationalities can also apply directly at the Embassy. In order to get the required application appointment, they must send an e-mail to [email protected] presenting their case (including copy of the required Note Verbale from their Embassy).

Photocopy service

There is a photocopying service at the Visa Application Centre for a fee of IDR 5000 for each photocopied sheet.

Photograph service

Applicants using this service can have their photograph taken at the Visa Application Centre. This will ensure that the photographs meet the requirements of the Embassy of Spain. This service can be used for an extra fee of IDR 79000 for 4 passport size photographs.

We are also providing courier service. Once the application process has been completed by Embassy of Spain in Jakarta, we would send the document straight to your desired address using our trusted courier partner. Important announcement for Pakistanis legally residing in Spain

The validity of the stay of those people who are found to be in Spain in a situation of legal stay (with or without visa) for a period of no more than 90 days, provided that the said legal stay has been expired during the state of alarm, is extended automatically and for a period of 3 months. The extension of the stay will only be valid within the Spanish territory.

The validity of the temporary authorizations of residence and/or work, the authorizations of stay for studies, mobility of students, non-labor practices or voluntary services whose validity expires during the state of alarm or within 90 natural days prior to the declaration of the state of alarm is extended. The extension will include the subsequent 6 months from the termination of the state of alarm.

The validity of the cards of family members of European Union citizens, as well as foreigner identity cards, is extended automatically from their date of expiry and for the same period of 6 months subsequent to the termination of the state of alarm.

In order to facilitate their return, the foreigners who are abroad will be able to enter Spain presenting a valid travel document and the expired card of family member of the European Union citizen or the foreigner identity card issued by Spanish authority.

• There is a service charge in addition to the visa, fee payable by all applicants and visa categories of £14.55(inclusive of VAT) per visa application.
• Passports are returned back by special next day delivery facility at the fee of £29.99 (Inclusive of VAT) per visa application.
• The SMS and email notification for the processing of the applications is available at a fee of £1.95 (Inclusive of VAT) per visa application.
• The Visa fees can be paid by cash, credit/debit card.
• All fees are non-refundable.

"Checklist"

Please note all of the required documentation listed below is mandatory for all applicants, including such cases where flights, accommodation, insurance and other items may be arranged by applicant’s employer, travel companies or any other companies or individuals. If applying as a family, all family members must provide their own individual documents.

Please provide 2 sets of all documents per person: 1 original and 1 copy

The Spanish Consulate could request additional documents.

• Online Application Form. Please ensure it is fully completed, signed in both required fields, and bring with you when attending for your appointment Please note that forms submitted from any other source will not be accepted.
• Passport/travel document . Please provide the original and a copy of the page with your personal data and photo. Your passport will not be accepted if it has been issued more than 10 years ago as of the date of return from your scheduled trip. The same applies to passports issued more than 10 years ago that have since been extended. Your passport must also be valid for at least another 90 days beyond your return date from Schengen area, and must have at least 2 blank adjacent visa pages in it.
• UK residence permit . You must be a resident in UK to be eligible to apply. Your residence permit must be valid for at least another 90 days beyond your return date from Schengen area. Please provide original and a copy (If card type, please copy both sides)
• Occupation proof - Must be original letter (i.e. not a photocopy, email, fax etc) with original signature (must be hand-signed, not digital or scanned signature), and not older than 30 days It has to be addressed to the Spanish Consulate in Manchester. The following can be accepted. Please bring original and copy.

1. Employment letter – Original signature (must be hand-signed, not digital or scanned signature), and not older than 30 days. It has to be addressed to the Spanish Consulate in Manchester and Proof of paid taxes if SELF EMPLOYED.

2. Student letter for school or University letter - Original signature (must be hand-signed, not digital or scanned signature), and not older than 30 days. It has to be addressed to the Spanish Consulate in Manchester.

3. Accountant’s letter – Original signature (must be hand-signed, not digital or scanned signature), and not older than 30 days. It has to be addressed to the Spanish Consulate in Manchester.

4. Job centre letter

5. Pension letter.

If you are a dependant – please provide your sponsor’s letter of employment/self-employment, his/hers bank statements, his/hers passport copy and proof of relationship (marriage certificate, Civil partnership certificate or birth certificate – whichever is applicable in your case). You must provide original and copy of these documents. Please note – the specific requirements mentioned on this page still apply to the documents supplied by the sponsor.

• Payslip . Optional – if submitting, please provide original and a copy.
• Bank statements - You must provide last full 3 months official bank statements for your current account showing a positive balance; Statements obtained from internet or any other source must be stamped by your bank. Please provide both original and copies of your statements.

1. Please ensure that when submitting your current account statements on the day of your appointment, the date of your closing balance in your current account must not be more than 1 week old. Please also be aware that as most recent as you can provide it will be better for your application

2. Please make sure you show sufficient funds in your account – a minimum of £ 800. If your trip is planned for more than 8 days, then starting from the 9th day you must show additional £80 per day. Any extra funds you wish to show can be shown in your savings account statements. Please provide originals and copies when applying.

3. Important – we do not accept – traveller’s cheques, credit card statements or bank statements that are currently overdrawn.

• Travel tickets . You must provide tickets or email confirmation (reservation will not be accepted) for all international trips issued only by the carrier company (We will not accept documents issued by Travel Agencies). Please print tickets only from the airline’s website. If you have booked the holiday with a travel agency, please note the consulate does not accept tickets from travel agencies alone (unless the agency provides their own carrier planes). Proof of payment must also be provided when flights are purchased through travel agencies.

1. If you plan to travel by car, you will need to provide copy of driving licence (if someone else is driving – a letter from them and copy of their passport), car insurance and V5 document (Car registration documentation) or car rental documentation. You will also be required to provide full documentation showing means of crossing the borders other than by air or land (e.g. ferry tickets or Eurotunnel tickets).

2. Please complete the following Travel Plan document showing details of your full travel itinerary, and bring this document with you when attending for your appointment.

• Accommodation proof . You must show hotel bookings for every single night you spend in the Schengen area, and they must correspond with your travel tickets. If your name is not mentioned on the accommodation reservation, then a joint travel confirmation letter signed and dated by the person whose name is on the reservation must also be provided. In addition, a photocopy of that person’s passport/ID card + passport must also be provided. If the signature is on a different page other than the main page with photo, a copy of this page should also be provided..

1. If invited to stay in Spain with a family member or friend, you must provide an original and copy of the Official Invitation letter issued by Police of Spain with a copy of host’s Passport. (Original will be returned to you after visa decision has been made). Please note: only an official invitation issued by Police of Spain will be accepted. A letter written by the host will not be accepted.

• Insurance . Insurance must be issued in UK only, and you will be required to provide original and copy of the following documents – travel insurance certificate showing your name, start and end day of the cover as well as geographical cover (a quotation won’t be sufficient), proof of emergency medical expenses being covered with minimum of 30,000 Euros, and proof of cover for repatriation - this page is usually part of the summary of expenses included in your insurance policy booklet.

1. If your travel insurance is provided by your bank, please ensure that you provide a recent letter from the bank confirming the cover and the insurance booklet. Your name must be on the letter, otherwise proof of relationship must be provided if the insurance covers dependants.

• Photo . You must provide a photo that complies with all requirements listed in the above tab ‘Photo Specifications’ and must not be older than 6 months. Please ensure your photo is clean and not damaged in any way and please do not paste glue, tape, staple or attach it any other way to the application form. It is important to have photo that complies with requirements with you when attending, as the Visa Application centre has no photo booth facilities.

1. Please do not staple any documents.

2. All documents must be in English or Spanish or duly translated in these languages. Translation must be officially translated by a certified, professional translator.

3. An appointment does not guarantee the issuance of a visa.

4. Processing time is minimum amount as stated on the Processing Time section above; please be aware that it may take longer in some cases

5. The acceptance of a visa application and documents by BLS does not guarantee the issuance of a visa. Once an application is forwarded to the Consulate, they may request more documentation or make further requests from you in order to process the application.

6.All decisions regarding the issuance of, duration and number of entries for a visa are at the sole discretion of the Spanish Consulate in Manchester.

• MINORS: Original and copy of birth certificate, original travel consent signed by both parents/legal guardians, copies of passports parents/legal guardians. Application form to be signed by both parents. School letter.
• IF BEING SPONSORED: Sponsorship letter, copy of sponsor’s passport, and valid Schengen visa (if applicable), proof of relationship with sponsor; original and copy of birth/marriage certificate, sponsor’s employment letter and bank statements showing sufficient funds and 3 month’s salary slip

Note: We regret we cannot accept photographs that do not meet these requirements

Please provide one recent photograph (not more than 6 months old) of yourself, which should not have been used previously in the passport. The photograph should be in colour and:

• Taken against a white so that features are distinguishable and contrast against the background.
• Clear share quality and with the face in focus.
• Printed on normal photographic paper (camera print).
• Full face, non-smiling [without sunglasses, a hat/cap or other head covering, unless the applicant wears such items because of their religious belief or ethnic background]
• Please stick the Photograph on the Visa Application Form.

Note: Please follow these instructions carefully. If photographs presented do not meet these requirements your application will be considered incomplete. A photo booth meeting these requirements is available at the centre.

Applications accepted at the Spain Visa Application Centre will be submitted on the next working day at Consulate General of Spain in Manchester. Once the application has been submitted, the applicant can be further requested additional documentation in support of the same. Please note that the minimum processing time is between 3 and 4 weeks.

Kindly note if application submitted in Manchester centre, it may take up to 48-72 hours in transit to Manchester. All the applications received in Manchester will be sent to Embassy/Consulate on next working day.

Fraudulent / Fake Visa

Dear Applicant

Please be aware of email scam/fraud involving persons falsely posing as BLS/Embassy officers presenting themselves as our employees, affiliates agents or representatives.

It has come to BLS International’s attention that, individuals misrepresenting themselves as BLS International agents or representatives have approached people through email offering fraudulent/fictitious assistance in Visa processing.

The intent is to steal personal information or solicit money from people. BLS International encourage the Visa Applicant/user to exercise caution when receiving any such requests which requires payment of any fees/money, or promises of visa in exchange for money through an email channel.

Few Anti-Fraud Tips for Applicants

The following are few examples of these fraud which are in violation of BLS International processes and ethical practices:

• The email is not sent from an official BLS International e-mail address but from a free e-mail service such as: Hotmail, Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc. It is also possible that, the email is sent from a fake email address.
• The Visa Applicant/Users are asked to disclose private or confidential information.
• The Visa Applicant/Users are requested to pay fees/money.
• The Visa Applicant/Users are requested to complete bogus documentations such as an application or share personal credentials.
• Insistence on urgency
• Money will be requested for processing Visa applications quickly with multiple entry.

Please note that the decision on the issuance of the Visa is the sole responsibility and the discretion of the respective Embassy office as BLS International centers only provides support in front ending the visa application process for the Embassy and does not have any influence on the decision of the visa.

Importance Notice As of 2nd February’ 2020 The deadline for submitting a visa application is extended to 6 months instead of 3 months. In case of Seafarers they may be presented with a maximum advance of 9 months. Visa application form has been changed. Visa Fee increases from 11th June 2024. This category of visa caters for people wishing to stay in Spain for a period maximum 3 months for work reasons (to sign the contract etc) but does not allow to carry out the professional activity.

Applicant will have to provide evidence that he/she falls under this category.

BLS International Service charge

Applicants applying at the Spanish visa application Centre shall be levied a service charge of ILS 69 . Children under 6 are exempted from service charge.

Please note: As per instruction received from The Consulate General of Spain, "Checklist" needs to be duly filled in by the Applicant/Travel Agent/Authorized representative and needs to be submitted along with the Visa Application. Please note it's mandatory to provide the same and is applicable for all Jerusalem.

Please follow the below mentioned points :

• The checklist must be submitted on back to back format only (without back to back copies being stapled to each other).
• Application form must be filled by a Blue Ink or online filled printed form is applicable only.

Application Form: Application for Schengen Visa.

Original Application form for Schengen Visa duly filled in and signed by the applicant in blue ball point ink. 1 recent photograph (35-45 mm) of the applicant with white background must be attached in the application form. The application form must be correctly filled, facilitating all the possible information requested in the form including postal address, email address and telephone number.

The application can be submitted personally or by an authorized person at the BLS International Services centre; or at the Consulate General of Spain ( subject to prior appointment)

If the application is being submitted directly at The Consulate General of Spain in Jerusalem, then the visa must be paid in cash on the day of application.

Passport of the applicant with at least two blank pages, which should be valid for at least three months after the duration of intended stay. This document should have been issued in the last ten (10) years. Photocopy of all the pages of the present passport must be submitted. For Consulate General of Spain Jerusalem , photocopy of all the pages (including blank pages) of the current passport and of the first previous/expired passport as well is required

Submission of all old passports is mandatory. Incase if applicant has lost old passport then he/she can submit copy of complaint lodged with Police or for any other reason of not submitting it he/she can provide a covering letter mentioning the reason for the same.

Covering letter from the applicant, explaining in detail the purpose of the visit, all cover letters must include details of any other accompanying persons as well. This includes family members, friends or business associates travelling for the same purpose

Original Invitation letter issued by the Spanish Company in Spanish language or both in English and Spanish . Letters issued only in English will not be accepted . This will be an obligatory requirement. Spanish company /companies inviting the applicant, explaining the purpose of the present visit and the nature of existing commercial relationship.

Documents related to the economic situation, ownership and business activities of the company must be submitted.

For participation in conferences, sports events or cultural activities, original invitation for the same must be submitted. All other documents to justify the purpose of the visit must also be attached.

Original Personal bank statements of the applicant for last 3 months for The Consulate General of Spain in Jerusalem with the original stamp and signature of authorized signatory of the bank (Online Bank statements are not acceptable) .This is a mandatory statement. (Please note that as per Instructions received from The Consulate General of Spain, Company’s Bank statements/ITR are not required at the time of Application Submission).

Please Note for Consulate General of Spain, Jerusalem: The minimum closing balance in the Personal Account Bank Statements should be equivalent or above Euros €589.68 per person for a minimum period of stay. For longer stays applicants need to show an additional of approximately Euros €65.52 per day per applicant.

Personal Income tax returns for the last three years.

Salary slips for last six months.

Proof of travel insurance with a minimum coverage of 30,000 Euros to cover any expense which might arise in connection with repatriation for medical reasons, urgent medical attention and /or emergency hospital treatment. The insurance must be valid throughout the territory of the Member States. The duration of the insurance cover must include the entire period of stay and additionally fifteen days more after the proposed date of departure out of the Schengen territory. Applicants are informed that travel medical insurance issued by only some Jerusalem insurance companies are will be accepted for visa procedures. However, visa applicants may seek to obtain insurance in any other country where claims against the insurance company would be recoverable in a Schengen state.

• 1. To submit the application on behalf of the applicant.
• 2. To receive any notification issued by the Consulate General of Spain
• 3. To collect the passport on behalf of the applicant.
• 4. In case of minors, this form must be signed by both the parents.

For Family visa applications applicants are requested to submit proof of family relations with the principal applicant as an additional document with the visa application, for example

For Children - Birth certificate

BLS International Services will accept a photocopy of the document after verifying with the original at the time of submission. In case if you are unable to present an original, kindly submit the photocopy of the same legalized before a Notary public.

With regards to the documents submitted with the visa application such as the Marriage certificate and Birth certificate of family visa applications, documents only in English language or translated to Spanish will be acceptable for all files.

Kindly note that if the documents are in any regional language, they must be translated to English or Spanish by any language institute with official stamp and signature of the translation institute/agency.

Documents in regional languages such as Marriage certificate and Birth certificate will not be acceptable.

Please provide one recent photograph (not more than 6 months old) of yourself, which should not have been used previously in the passport. The photograph should be in colour and:

• Two recent colour passports, size of photographs(45mm x 35mm) full face and taken against a white background so that features are distinguishable and contrast against the background.
• It must be clear and show the face focused.
• Printed on normal photographic paper (camera print).
• Full face, non-smiling [without sunglasses, a hat/cap or other head covering, unless the applicant wears such items because of their religious belief or ethnic background]
• Please stick the Photograph on the Visa Application Form.

Applications accepted at the Spain Visa Application Centre will be submitted on the next working day at the Consulate General of Spain. Once the application has been submitted, the applicant can be further requested additional documentation in support of the same. Please note as per the instructions received from The Consulate General of Spain minimum processing time is 15 Calendar days (It may delay depending on case to case).

All applications must be submitted at least 15 days prior to the proposed date of travel to accommodate any unforeseen processing delays.

Kindly note if application submitted in Satellite centre, it may take up to 48-72 hours in transit to Jerusalem. All the applications received from Satellite centers will be sent to The Consulate General of Spain on next working day

Processing time will start excluding the date of submission of application at BLS International Services.

Applicants submitting the applications towards The Consulate General of Spain in Jerusalem with short processing time will be required to fill up the Declaration form .

All applications must be submitted at least 10 days prior to the proposed date of travel.

Processing time will start excluding the date of submission of application at BLS International Services.

Resolution delays: The New Visa Code stipulates that the processing time is about 15 calendar days, and can be extended up to 45 days. No more than that.
