Why see Elton John?

Last dates - the final stretch of his farewell tour.

After nearly 50 years in the 'biz, Sir Elton John has announced his final tour before he retires, giving the world one last chance to catch the pop legend live. Singer, composer and pianist and activist, Elton John has sold over 300 million records and has over 50 Top 40 hits, making him one of the most successful musicians of all time. Don't miss out on this once in a lifetime experience!

During his mammoth career he has won everything it's possible to win: An Oscar, a Golden Globe, a Tony, six Grammys. He's co-written the soundtrack for one of the world's most beloved animated movie (The Lion King) and the score for a West End and Broadway phenomenon (Billy Elliott) and his spectacular Las Vegas residency The Million Dollar Piano has spent the better part of a decade hosting packed out audiences eager to catch a glimpse. The list of his classic tracks goes on and on: 'Rocketman', 'Daniel', 'Crocodile Rock', 'Candle in the Wind', 'Your Song', 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road', 'I Guess That's Why They Call It the Blues'...

Citing his family as the reason for his unprecedented retirement, this world-wide tour will last three years, promising it will be 'the most produced, fantastic show I've ever done, it will be a wonderful way to thank people'.

Here's how much Twenty One Pilots' tickets are for Columbus shows

Portrait of Amani Bayo

The "Clancy" world tour is making its way to Columbus next month. Fans are just two weeks away from seeing Twenty One Pilots in concert.

The native Columbus duo will treat fans to performances three days in a row at Nationwide Arena, 200 W. Nationwide Blvd., on Oct. 4, 5 and 6 in celebration of their newly released "Clancy" album.

The duo of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun pay special homage to their native roots in the heart of the Midwest with album tracks like "Lavish."

An ode to Ohio: Twenty One Pilots release album 'Clancy' featuring Columbus sights in 'Lavish' video

Before the start of the tour, Twenty One Pilots also performed their seventh studio album in a sold-out concert at Newport Music Hall in May.

Need a break? Play the USA TODAY Daily Crossword Puzzle.

The 13-track album includes popular songs like "Next Semester," "Navigating" and "Overcompensate." "Clancy" concludes a story that began with "Blurryface" in 2015 and continued with "Trench" in 2018, which represents the band's growth over the years.

An Aug. 15 setlist is available and can be found at setlist.fm.

Opening up the show all three nights is Balu Brigada , an alternative-pop brother duo made up of Henry and Pierre Beasley.

Tickets are still available and can be purchased at  ticketmaster.com .
